Gehenna always ran away from his problems, this time it was nothing new. Well, except that he was literally running. The world whizzed by, people were a blur and street names didn't matter. It was ignored and forgotten as he burned through his slowly depleting energy, just to forget himself in the strain. When he couldn't run anymore, he walked. He walked until he forgot how far he'd come, until his feet ached even through the power this form granted him.

He stopped on a sudden step and drew a deep breath, filling his broad chest until he was puffed up like a rooster. He expelled it hard and propped a hand onto a wall at his side, as if to support the effort it took. In no team he had leaned into the unmarked side of the building, slumping down into a sitting position in one flowing movement. He leaned his head back and stared up into the shadows of the side alley, taking comfort in the darkness. He could hide here. The cool night air drew goosebumps to his skin and caused the sweat across his forehead to turn chill. In the temporary comfort, he let his eyes drift shut.

It didn't take long. In the back of his mind an old man's face rose and stared into his eyes, right into the piece of his soul where Gehenna was latching on. For a moment he held them and staring back defiantly. He refused to bend to the command, growing stubborn as Kamboja could manage. Then his shame reared its ugly head as if by command and he crumbled, forcing his eyes open once more.

There was no rest for the wicked, at least not if they wanted to survive.

He knew he should get up, but one more moment of resting his feet wouldn't kill him. Irritating conscience be damned.

Camelot of Earth found that, though his own aura had expanded and was quite noticeable at any distance, he also found that he was able to pick up on other auras more keenly than he had been before. It was useful in the sense that it allowed him to expand his patrol areas a bit, even just mentally, by aiding him to pick up threats or friends in the areas around him.

So just because he could not see something, if it was powered he could still feel it.

Like now. He felt an aura near enough to him to make him curious, coming to look for what seemed to be another knight, but this one was not in immediate sight. He had to follow his senses to find it, taking the higher path of the roof tops to do so. He peered down into the dark alley and was almost certain there was someone down there, but his eyes were not adjusting to the darkness in a way that was helpful.

He leaped off the edge of the building and landed heavily, but gracefully, near Gehenna. It was not the quietest arrival, though, his armor ringing as he straightened up and adjusted his cape on his shoulders. He looked at Gehenna and at first did not recognize him, offering him a friendly smile.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

He swung his bleary eyes towards the sound of a missile landing, almost surprised to see Camelot instead. He remained pretty motionless as the armored man collected himself. By now he had realized one important thing: he had underestimated how exhausted he was. Both the power and the run had worn his muscles into a serious burn. His eyes were hot, and heavy.

He smiled weakly at Camelot's question and dropped his eyes, hiding his shame beneath a silent joke. 'Alright' was such a matter of perspective, but he didn't know if he was or not. Sweat peppered his forehead and ran in lazy zig zags down his neck. Once he had collected himself he turned that same smile up at Camelot and squinted at him through the shadows.

"Just a little tired," he waved the concern away with a hand, but his eyes didn't quite rise to meet Camelot's yet. In the dark of the alley it was hard to see who this stranger was, though he knew there was no need for concern. He could feel the benevolent aura and that was enough to keep him from tensing up right now.

"Would you mind helping me up, though?" He wasn't ashamed to ask for a hand right then, his body was protesting every second he held onto Gehenna.

Camelot was fairly certain that the knight before him was not anywhere near alright, and he regretted giving the other a choice through answering a question about it. Regardless of what Gehenna said, Camelot could see that he was most definitely in need of help.

"Of course, here." He moved to help the knight up, careful as he did so. He went slowly, but he was basically strong enough to hoist the young man off the ground and set him on his feet if he wanted to. Camelot just thought that was not the most situation appropriate choice he could make, and opted instead to guide the other knight to his feet at a much easier pace. He did, though, stick close enough for Gehenna to lean on him if he needed.

"I feel like I recognize you...?" he asked carefully, his memory not the best these days. Not because of his age, and he would be furious if anyone assumed that and let him know it, but because he had met so many knights and senshi over the years, some names and faces flitted in and out of his mind. Either in passing, at big meetings or in fights, or even if he had encountered them one night on patrol. There were just so many out there now, though he did his best to keep track.

"What happened?" If the knight was running from something or someone, he'd run into the right man to help him. Camelot's protective instincts were impossible for him to ignore, and he was going to do his damn best to make sure that whatever was troubling Gehenna stopped. Not that things were ever quite that easy, of course.

Gehenna was grateful for the steady, helping hand and chose silence until he was back up on (mostly) steady feet. He began to unwind his arms from the grip that Camelot had on him until he felt a threatening sense of dizziness sweep up his spine and set his skull tingling. He spared a moment for a grimace before he let himself lean back into the more powerful and obviously less drained Knight.

It was only up close that he got a good look at the face staring back at him. If he hadn't been so tired, he would have laughed at the chances.

"What's up shield guy?" It had been a long time since Gehenna had last seen the man and he certainly had been doing pretty damn good for himself. He wouldn't need the Squire of Mars to rescue him anytime soon. Still, it put him at ease to know this was someone he could trust. He was going to need a place to rest, and soon.

"Ah," he coughed, not because he had to but because he wanted to buy himself time while he figured out the best way to answer that question. What had happened? His eyes fell and shame rose like bile in his throat. He grit his teeth around the disgusting feeling and pushed himself a step forward, hoping Camelot would help him stay upright. Then another, and another.

Finally, he sighed.

"I need to get somewhere safe, first. I'm losing this." He motioned with his free hand at himself, his armor. Gehenna. "Then we'll talk."
