After a week of rest, she felt much better, physically and mentally. She somehow found a way to sleep and the panda eyes became less prominent. Nevertheless, it was like getting to normal days where she woke up with nightmares at midnight, nothing big, she could handle that and not making anyone worried. Shu slowly accepted that the memory that she was an Ancient was just an illusion the tower cast on them to protect itself when the guardian fell down, she felt sad but she couldn't deny her true identity.

The girl managed to lock up the bad memories through time, and let her mind filled with happy memories instead. So smile returned on her face and she would be cheerful again. With a better status, the girl planned to visit her friends and people she liked, giving each of them a big hung for thanking them to make it back to the island. She prepared a lot of snacks, to give them during her visit. She hoped smile and happiness can return to their faces, she wanted to sooth their pains.

So that day when she was tidying her snacks again, there was a knock on her door. Shu wondered who would have a visit on her, she had some people in her mind. "Hold on, coming~"

She opened the door slightly, but saw a Noemi holding a lot of stuff like a tower ready to collapse. She startled, but shortly back to reaction to fully open her door and greet the girl. "Oh hello Mimi and - Little Shu! What a nice surprise~ Oh! Let me help you to hold some of them." She reached out to take some of the foods while closing the door with her foot with a gentle kick. "You know, you are like a Santa Claus bringing a lot of presents, I like it!" The trainee shoved the bags of snacks and bars of candies aside, leaving a big space in the middle of the floor. She then put a blanket on the floor before getting the food on. "Hope you don't mind sitting on the floor, the desk -" She looked at the desk with a lot of different stuff piled up, some glow toy stickers, some candies, some sort of hair pins and some more. "Hehe~" She tittered for the messiness.

"Oh that's a lot of foods, Mimi, you make them all by yourself? And would you mind introduce them one by one to me, I haven't seen some of them before!" Her eyes sparkled with curiosity, but putting Little Mimi on her shoulder safely so that she could see the awesome feast as well.

"You kept the promise very good~! Yes, treat it as your room, sit down and no worries!" Shu said happily. "Oh, I am fine now. Hmm, we are gonna spend a lot of time on the whole story I guess, hope you don't mind me start the snack?" The girl grabbed a small bag of sweet potato chip, opened it with a little bit force and shoved one or two pieces in her mouth.

"Ok, all set, feel free to start eating anything, it's a snack-and-talk party~" She winked cutely. "After a week, I guess I have adjusted myself back to normal. Sorry that I couldn't find you in the battlefield," Shu gently took Noemi's hands up, "So-anything big happened? The angry lady-in-red.....I saw you apologized to Cami....of course, only if you wanna tell." The Asian girl gave a comforting smile. "If not, it's okay, I will share my part then." The girl pulled her knees up, and rested her head on them, head tilted with a smile, looking at her cute friend.

Shu used a rubber band to tie up the rolled bag of chip immediately, shoved it aside when the Mist huntress offered her the lemon bar. The Asian girl took the treat with the napkin, held it up and examined it with a "( =①ω①=)" face. Where?! Shu might have sent a glare in her mind but she gingerly held it up closer to her mouth, as if treating a treasure and ready to take a bite when Noemi came to hug her. With a peek, she carefully put the tart down on the floor, before she emptied her hands to hug back, head gently resting on Mimi's shoulder.

"Even though I said many times already - welcome back Mimi, you are important. Thanks for coming back, thanks for making it back. You are home now." She patted the girl's back a few times and stroked softly back and forth. Shu was so grateful that she didn't have to lose someone again, thank you for being her friend, Mimi.

Mimi asked her question when she withdrew from the hug and her curious face changed to a worried face shortly. "Oh Stormy! Yup - you mentioned she's on the island before. I am so sorry that you had to face that horrible thing, how is she now?" She recalled seeing the huntress posted on twitter recently. "Did she remember what she did when she was controlled? That is - really unfortunate.....Was she conscious or like a puppet? Maybe-Maybe we can figure out something to prevent that happen again." She asked Noemi to give more details she remembered, it must be awful to have hurt someone when you didn't mean to and she wanna help. The frown again turned into a surprised look when the Mist huntress mentioned "Cami's friend".

A squint was made, but quickly vanished. "Is that Miss. Maebe - G-Grace something!?" Shu remember the blonde girl on twitter, chatting with Cami and Otto mainly. She turned to give Noemi a short but warm hug to cheer her up. "That's alright, you are just defending your cousin, I know and they know. No hurtful feeling okay~"

She finally picked up the lemon bar and gave it a bite, sorry for the wait, tasty tart. "Hmm!" She made a sound with food in mouth with her eyes opened much bigger, she munched and munched and finally swallowed the mouthful. "Oh Mimi. It's very lemony," She didn't know how to describe it but adding "y" should be fine. "I love it, Mimi! I love it, thank you!" It was sweet with a strong lemon scent, the sourness was just like the huntress said - refreshing. "I am sure I am 100% sober now~" She took another bite, storing the food like a little hamster.

With food in mouth, she covered it so that nothing will be spat out. "Eat, what are you waiting for? Food will give you good mood, so when we talked, it's better to have some food in our mouth. And - they will be so sad if we don't, that's the life mission of the food, get eaten and receives a good comment."

"Yup...Our new home." Her eyes softly squinted, as if she was wearing an oversize sweater in pastel brown color sitting in a cozy state with a nice warm chocolate marshmallow. They might not see their real family this life, but Deus will give them a new life, new meaning to go on and they would be going back for them. However, she won't forget her brother and she kept checking his status from the personnel.

"Different realities...." She murmured. "I-I might have experienced that....Do you know - Wonderland?" She paused for one or two seconds and said it as if some sort of code to some people who were not involved. It was a different version of her in a different reality, about a rabbit girl called B.B. Shu was retrieving her memories and she smiled with a relief, "I am so glad to hear she's alright. I know. Sometimes, it's hard to distinguish which is dream and which is the reality...." She took another bite at the lovely lemon bar . As the sourness tickled her tongue, she read a poem slowly - "In a Wonderland they lie, dreaming as the days go by, dreaming as the summers die. Ever drifting down the steam, lingering in the golden gleam. Life, what is it but a dream?' She turned to smile to Noemi.

"So that's really her! Nothing, don't worry." The Asian smiled. "China doll....maybe some dynasty background - was it - in gold, red or black?" Shu recalled people wearing that sort of color, in a very traditional chinese-esque passed the battlefield when she was - Luckily, Mimi distracted her from continuing. "Oh yes Cami is nice, really sweet." A weak hint of something was tied to the tail of the word. (Please don't catch it, Mimi.)

And then, she heard her name. "You possess such a good Moon trait, Mimi. I heard that the hunters in that division all have a strong determination to protect, flourishing or hidden." Another hug. "I am sure Miss. Cee doesn't mind at all, she will be happy with the thought, don't think you are weaker, Mimi. We can do much more than we can imagine~" Shu waggled her finger. "Hmm, it's fine! The sugar on the top balanced the bitterness out. Do you know dark chocolate is my favourite because of the weak bitter taste in it? You win my heart over~" The answer what a sugar high Shu would do is easy, over energetic, super cheerful and like a drunken man. The petite girl might complain about her flat chest and divulged how many methods she tried or even more, she might attack Mimi and touch improperly - by that it means - grabbing boobies and pouts. So Noemi was wise for her choice.

Shu nodded, finishing her last bite. "Yesu~ Like how plants grow prettier when you talk and praise them, I think food is the same! Can I have one more?"She asked. "Oh for quite a long time....I wasn't myself - I don't know....I feel -feel - detached and aloof, it was so strange. Now I think, at that time, I was like a doll. In my consciousness, I was an Ancient, apathetic about the things that people lost. And then - I was the huntress again, my memories were so confused that I couldn't do anything besides feeble endeavor to figure out my true identity......I was attacked by a winged man riding a mutant crab? lobster? He was mean but shortly lost interest on me, so I am fine. And then, I heard some screams and yells, and I ended up protecting the blonde huntress named Maebe from a cute neon green kitty boil. He was rather pissed, but she was bleeding, so I guess some misunderstanding?" She looked at her friend, "Sorry, was that too much? Oh! I remembered went through a blue door before I started to be abnormal, did you see the doors too? Seven of them, in different colors."

With the pretty redhead's approval, she picked up another lemon bar.

Yes, if Noemi tried, the sweet girl wold have a lot of friends as she wished. She was adorable, friendly and kindhearted.

"Yup Wonderland. It was a collective dream that we played a game in it. The MMORPG sort. Oh! It stands for - Massively Multiplayer Online Role Play Game. Hmm, how can I explain....? It's a game where you can play a character with other players, like you can be a mage, sorcerer, ranger or bard. In the dream, the classes became characters from the famous series Alice in the Wonderland, I chose to be white rabbit with dagger as my weapon and the benefit this class given was the swift movement."

She paused so that the huntress could have time to follow, "There were other classes like Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter and so on....We were all conscious that we were dreaming but we couldn't tell the true identity of the others. Since the game started, there was a AI guide to help you - Ah! The one that people called A.L.I.C.E on twitter. It seemed to have a meaning - when people talk, you will see a dialogue bubble above them and I saw the name was in all capital letters so - my guess is it was a short form of something? Should be." There was another rest as she played with the little alpaca plushie on her shoulder all the time.

"Back to the topic, Alice who didn't have a face, like a shadow dressing like the character Alice, a little girl, she told us that when we defeated the queens, the game will end. I found out many of us regarded that as "we will wake up from the dream when the queens were down". Like normal online games, there were quests for us to level up and when certain level was reached, a new area would be open for us. I remembered - the castles were like -like - like.....the third zone! Yes." She stumbled when she counted it in her memories.

"So I did quests to level up, they were just like how the book described, I met with the caterpillar and the cheshire cat. And there I met a Shu in a different world - I am not sure because it's a dream, but she's pretty and badass, she killed monsters and was rely on by many people! Oh derail again sorry~"

She was a bit embarrassed. "And we fought monsters in dungeons sometimes and made friends with other players. That's where I met with my waifu and got married, the huntress called Solia. The boss fights were tougher than I though and the queen distracted us with illusions, it was really harsh but Alice helped us to wake up. It was a sad goodbye but the memory was a fun one~" Shu gave a smile with a little bitterness within. There she shared her story.

"Gold. That's a royal color, another her must be of certain important position in the Dynasty. Also, gold is one of the seven doors, I wonder if that was related.....Horseman, we know very little of them and if they can enchant others, then they are really dangerous...." The girl frowned but soon smiled again with Noemi's words. "I know that feeling, I feel I am not strong enough." A hug again. "They would be grateful to have assistance around, trust me~" She somehow cheered and "yay~" in her heart that can be only heard by Z when she knew Noemi and Milo were together. The imagine of Noemi the knight protecting Milo the princess made she giggled in her mind.

She beamed happily and picked up the lemon bar, "Thank you Mimi, you are the best!" The sweet-sour taste melted her soul completely. "I don't think so. You must have gone through more than me." She hugged the girl with one arm and soothed because another hand was holding the tart. "Yup. So many things happened. I guess that's what battlefield is like, we have to get stronger by doing spars and training courses, maybe paired with senior hunters for external missions to gain experiences." Shu made a determined expression behind.

Feeling the uneasiness from her friend, she released her shortly. Noemi was still not used to hugs like that, she guessed. "Ancient of Disease.....you must have seen some horrible scenes, it's okay, you are home." She offered the Mist huntress a lemon bar, may let the sweetness washed away the sorrow and pain of her friend, she wished. "I was the Ancient of Lost, the one meaning something was taken from you. The blue door's beckoning was the strongest to me, I guess everyone was different then." The bitterness raised up from her memories where the death of herself before uprising to an Ancient again. Lost, she was aloof and detached, apathetic and soothing but not cheerful or passionate, she was wrapped around with sadness. The fear of losing intensified her desire to protect.

Shu wanted to stuff Noemi with sugar only, she deserved only the sweetness. On the other hand, she knew how the bitterness in life will make one grow. In the mind of the petite Asian, the two thoughts collided with each other. She hope like Little Mimi, the huntress can always have a sweet smile on her face. That was also why she liked these plushies so much, they are having a bright cheerful smile all the time.

"Mimi? Mimi?" She finished her part and noticed that Mimi was spaced out, so she gently called her with some hand waves. Maybe too much information at once, the girl stuck out her tongue a little and quick and patiently waited while she tasted the lemon bar, such a good snack, she thought.

Soon, Noemi replied to her question and Shu gave a smile but not she then said gave the Asian a flush. "Nooooo I am not smart at all, I always need people to explain further and I am not brave either, I just - just want to protect the one I liked....I am scared of fights and I hate pains." Finding herself a bit immersed into some dark thoughts, she slightly nudged Noemi.

Luckily, the girl changed her focus to ask about waifu, Shu sighed in relieve inside. "Yes, it means wife, it seems that Milo knows something~" She giggled. "Actually, waifu is a japanese, written like this-", Shu used her finger to trace out the Katakana "ワ - イ - フ, ワイフ! The romanji, a romanization of japanese, of it will be wa-i-fu, so it's waifu!" She finished with a bright smile as if she had accomplished a job. "I met Solia in the Wonderland, and there was a marriage quest that required us to get a spouse. She came to talk to me friendly when I wanted to pick a puppet I liked because I knew no one there and we ended up into marrying the same puppet. That's why I call her my waifu~" Shu made a shy but elfish grin. "Yes, it reminds me of the lovely memory and at the same time that's something that only two of us know the meaning behind, don't you think so it's sweet? Oh! Now three!" She winked.

"You won't! Everyone starts from the basis, failures are expected but they will make us stronger, no need to be afraid, Mimi." The girl said. "I failed a lot, letting my weapon hitting me instead of my target, but it also let me realize I need to learn how to dodge quicker and be less clumsy." Shu looked into Noemi's eyes with smile. "Friends do help, and it's a mutual benefit, if you need me, thought I am not a good spar partner, I will try my best, all you need to do is telling me." She got closer so that their foreheads were touching each other. "Mimi, I want to help you, I want to be helpful to you, so..." She didn't feel she need to continue the sentence, she knew her friend would know.

Being sugar high for Shu was like drunken, she can allow all the happy thoughts flourished and exploded like thousands of fireworks. She won't need to afraid to say anything or do anything out of the boundary of normality. After hearing Noemi's story, she smiled gently, so softly. "It's because of your nature, you became a creator. It's not your fault at all because humans - they are - very complicated, they can be stronger than you can imagine when you think they are weak; they can be shattered like glass easily with just one hit when you think they are tough. They never stop fearing, or else another world would cease to exist - so you already tried your best. I am proud of you, Mimi." She recalled what she saw behind the door again, she deliberately ignore their voice of help to make them fear from the insecurity while protecting them with empathy. That's how their natures differed. The girl rested her head against her knees while looking at somewhere.

She was touched. The girl turned to smile at Noemi, "I promise, we won't lose each other, we will be best friends forever." She reached out with her pinky, smiling. "We don't say bad things about the consequences of breaking the promise, because we know - you and me - won't break it!"

"If that's what you call brave, then yes, we are both brave." Noemi's words lighted up a candle in her heart, chasing the darkness away. "No, of course not. We are just - forced to fight, no choice." Shu enjoyed the body contact, she liked to feel the warmth transferred to her, it's like the sign of a living soul, telling her "I'm here, I am alive." The Aisan smiled, "Yes, we will do what we can do to protect the people we love." She said it like it's a sincere swear more than a wish.

"Yes, it is fun and happy! I don't know how it is like in reality, but in the dream it's sweet and warm." She beamed. "Like eating a nice pancake with honey on top." Shu could think Noemi was thinking and with an eye roll, she got the idea. "Are you thinking of someone?" She asked with a meaningful smile, she hoped her guess was right.

She raised an eyebrow at the girl's suggestion, attempt to make distraction? "That's a good suggestion Mimi! I won't hold back if it's a spar, both of us need to learn, if we don't take all our efforts to take each other down, we won't learn." The words were serious, but the wink ending it suggested she wasn't try to be strict. "For sure we will do all the fun things together, learn and play and learn and play, that's the best for performance." She often invaded people's comfort zone, that's the way she showed her liking directly. Sometimes, it served as a test, a method for her to gauge the most appropriate distance to keep with a person. Like Mr. Thompson, with just a hug, she knew he was sensitive to touch, his body reacted greatly as rejection. Thus, part of her was grateful that the intimacy she showed didn't get rejected by the Mist huntress.

"I see that you can have strong determination once you decide to do something, that's great, Mimi~" Shu praised. "Never lose the light of hope no matter how small it is, it keeps you going, giving you a direction to continue. As an Ancient, I kept reminding people the feeling of losing, so that they will cherish what they are having. I don't want them to think it's granted, it isn't. Most of the people don't know because they own it, they are them but it's hard for them to imagine they will lose it one day, but what's accident? An expected event." It felt heavy to talk something like that, so she took a bite at her lemon bar, sweet thing is the best.

She slowly swung Noemi's fingers with hers, like swinging a cradle. "I will do my best too. Let's continue to introduce the foods you bring, I hear they saying 'eat me! eat me!'" She joked.
