Personality: Aio is very quiet. He is caring about others, and puts others before himself. He keeps to himself and is always seen wondering around on his own in times of depression. He usually gets annoyed rather easily though, despite his calm demeanor. When bothered or angered, he is usually seen screaming or yelling for brief moments before calming to a more stern volume. He loves to sing though, but he doesn't have many friends to do so with. He is usually the one to fix a situation rather than cause it to get worse. He is also one that many people come to, even though he is usually younger than they are. He's loyal and respectful and very calm in times of worry and panic.
History: When he was born in the Rukongai, his parents abandoned him. As he was able to do things on his own as a baby, he soon learned to do many other things as he grew up into a child. He found his own ways of getting water and food and he learned how to beg to get money. As he grew up into a teen, he suddenly became rebellious than he ever was. He would continuously prank others and steal things without anyone noticing he did it. He watched them go crazy at the different silly things he did and he loved it. Soon, however, he was caught and beat up for being such a burden on those around him. He had gotten beaten for 3 hours straight before a Shinigami came to his rescue and helped him escape the mob of angry Rukongai citizens. After being treated the best he was able to get treated, he was soon left once again and was then found, days later, by an old couple who wanted their own child. He was taken in by them and taken care of.
As he grew older, he became more responsible. He helped people around the section and even went off to do some charity work for the poorer sections of Rukongai. He soon learned when to control his rebellious side and worry about others before himself. Later on in his lifetime, his adoptive mother fell ill, and days later, died. His adoptive Father falling weeks after due to the same illness. Forced to live on his own, he carried on what they used to do and learned to be grateful for being able to live.
One day, he was walking down when he was approached by a noble looking female. She politely asked him to come with her and he soon was taken in to a Royal Family. It wasn't a top notch well known one, but it was a Royal Family non the less. He was given good food to eat and good clothes to wear. He was soon taught the ways of a noble and by the time he turned 800, he had perfected each mask given to him. Now living with the family of his dreams, he was able to do anything he wanted, but he was so used to his old life, so he continued to help those in the Rukongai the best way he could.
Several months after being accepted into a Royal Family, he was given the chance to become a Soul Reaper. He accepted the offer and soon partook in the Academy. After 6 years of perfect grades, he was finally released and given a badge. He was taken into the Eleventh Division first. He trained under the wing of the Captain as a 4th Seated Officer. He trained ruthlessly until he chose to transfer to Squad 9 as a low-ranked Officer and worked hard. But, as the years went by and the Captain finally retired, the role was vacant. He was the first to grab for it and took the Captaincy test when he turned 910. It took a year for him to be chosen and he was placed as Captain of the Ninth Division. He soon kept the role, even today, now at the age of 957. He enjoys his time as Captain, but lives off as a Royal when job isn't required.

Shikai Techniques/Abilities
- Satan's Blue Dragon :: Once the blade has brightened up enough, there is enhanced power. With enough strength, as he slashes downwards, an attack is directed to his foe. As the attack rushes to his foe, it forms into a giant blue flamed dragon. A roar is heard from it and it opens his mouth, as if to devour his opponent. It is very hard to dodge it, but it could be blocked by a powerful Kido spell or a strong Captain that had experienced this attack before. It's recharge is 2 posts after the move is used for as long as he wants.
- Licorice Dragon :: Cutting at the ground, black fire can be seen coming from the cracks. Soon, with the response "Rise," Aio can produce up to 3 Giant black and blue Dragons to assist him in battle. They fly high, and Aio is able to fly on the back of them constantly throughout this move. The dragons are given the ability to breathe blue fire and claw at his enemy, but they have one natural weakness. Water. If they are sprayed with water, or a water type kido of some sort, they would fall and perish, returning to the depths of the fire from wince they came from. After using this technique for as long as he wants, it takes 4 posts to recharge.
- Sin's Protector :: Stabbing into the ground Aio can form a big black barrier around him and his opponent. The barrier is only a mere 1.5 miles wide. He then slashes upwards to send waves of black and blue energy around his foe in almost a barrier in an attempt to keep them still. He then stabs the ground as black vines and flowers sprout up and get set on blue fire. They shoot into the sky after a few seconds and form together to create a giant black statue of a blindfolded female covered in a blue cloth. She is also covered in the vines and flowers he had burnt. As she detects the enemy, she soon raises a giant sword and slashes downwards in a powerful cut. Despite it 'looking' impossible, it could be escaped by destroying or getting past the barrier around them. It's also easy to misdirect the female statue, cause she's blind. She must direct on hearing and where the barrier is placed. There was one event where someone had been able to redirect the female to attack the barrier for them so they could escape. Once the female has slashed down and the damage has been dealt, the barrier formed would be broken. The range of her attack is only within the barrier created. This will easily drain a lot of his Spiritual Power, but he will continue to fight. Uses it for at least 3-4 posts. It's recharge is about 7 posts.

Bankai Techniques/Abilities
- Torching the Sinful :: His scythe will be consumed in a blue flame. With every strong slash, it will cause fire type attacks and if it hits his opponent, it will cause them a cut and a slightly severe burn. Water type kidos can put it out successfully.
- Dragon's Rain :: This ability is stated above as well. A cloud shaped into a dragon will pulse, signalling it's rain coming down. Once it starts raining, Aio could run under it to get healed. It does not put out the fire that he wields, however. The rain holds healing purposes only. It also heals his opponent too if they get underneath it, but that rarely happens. The rain only hits a small vicinity and only in one place. It's only about and 82 feet radius in a circle.
- God's Repentance :: An upgraded version of his last Shikai ability, he is consumed in a light blue flame. This time, he is covered in a blue cloth and blindfold and is temporarily blind for as long as the ability is used. His Scythe will grow to a tremendous size and he can be able to roam around in this appearance for as long as his ability is active. He is attracted by sound and sudden movements. He's actually pretty fast in this ability, but it is easy to mislead him. He is barefoot, so vibrations in the ground will be able to help him too. This ability last for only 10 posts. It will take 15 posts to recharge. It usually weakens him to the point he passes out, but he usually ends up back in his shikai again.
Combat Information
Specialization: He is well known for his smart and tactical plans. He is known also for giving great advice in people's time of feeling down. He is good at cooking and is a great babysitter, to both kids and adults.
Known Techniques/Skills
Bakudo:
- 1. Sai (塞, Block) The target will have their arms restrained behind their back by an invisible force. Someone of sufficient strength could break out of or even completely negate this Kido's effects.
4. Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope) A yellow rope of energy will fire from the wielder's hands and entangle the opponent's arms.
8. Seki (斥, Repulsion) Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
9. Geki (撃, Strike) Engulfs the target in red light, paralyzing them.
9. Hōrin (崩輪, Disintegrating Circle) Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. The Kido is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.
21. Sekienton (赤煙遁, Red Smoke Flight) Acts like an upgraded version of a ninja's smoke bomb. Creates a large blast of red smoke around the user, aiding them in an escape.
26. Kyokkō (曲光, Bent Light) Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
37. Tsuriboshi (吊星, Hanging Star) Creates a smooth blanket of blue and stretchy material in the air (Needs objects such as buildings nearby to keep it up). It acts as a type of safety net for catching falling objects.
58. Kakushitsuijaku (摑趾追雀, Trace-Catching Pursuit Sparrows) Creates a sphere which seeks out and follows a chosen Reiatsu. Can be used to locate certain Shinigami, Arrancar, or anything with Reiatsu.
61. Rikujōkōrō (六杖光牢, Six-Staff Light Prison) Six beams of yellow light will surround the target and slam into their midsection. The target will be unable to move any part of their body unless they overcome the Kido.
62. Hyapporankan (百歩欄干, Hundred-Step Rail Parch) A single beam of light-grey energy will be thrown at the target. It will separate into many smaller beams in mid-flight, pinning the target to his/her surroundings.
73. Tozanshō (倒山晶, Inverse Mountain Crystal) Creates an inverted pyramid around the caster. It appears to be made out of crystal, and is very difficult to destroy.
Hado:
- 1. Shō (衝, Clash) Pushes the target away from the caster by a few meters, possibly knocking them to the ground.
4. Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) Shoots a powerful, concentrated beam of electricity at the target.
11. Tsuzuri Raiden (綴雷電, Bound Lightning) Allows the user to channel electricity through an object. For instance, if used in conjunction with a weapon, the weapon's damage will be increased with the power of electricity.
12. Fushibi (伏火, Lain Fire)
31. Shakkahō (赤火砲, Red Fire Cannon) Creates an orb of red energy, which will fire at the target and explode on impact.
32. Ōkasen (黄火閃, Yellow Fire Flash) Raising their Zanpakutō horizontally in front of them, the practitioner generates a yellow orb, which widens itself along the length of their sword. Once it is fully charged, it fires a wide, horizontal arc of yellow energy at the target. A hand can be used as a catalyst for the spell instead of a Zanpakutō, but it produces a shorter arc.
33. Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Firefall) Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target, but with a wider detonation range and more power than #31
54. Haien (廃炎, Nullific Flames) The user will generate a ball of violet energy, floating a few inches away from the palm of their hand. They will then throw this ball at the target, incinerating most objects on the way and capable of searing through flesh quite easily.
58. Tenran (闐嵐, Swelling Storm) A widening, tornado-like blast will be fired towards the target.
63. Raikōhō (雷吼炮, Thunder Roar Sear) Fires a massive wave of yellow, electricity-like energy at the target.
Other Information: He is easily scared and startled. His worst fear is being picked up. He's bisexual, but leaning towards homosexuality. He's also scared of heights and spiders.
