[!NOTICE!]
If you missed roll call you may still enter so long as you were quoted/signed up!
A bright full moon gleams into view, parting the clouds that look like gnarled fingers across the night sky. Standing before you is a mansion several stories high, with a winding metal fence, small glowing lanterns carrying dim purple flame, and shadowy movements in the windows. Wolves howl in the distance, bats screech and flap dangerously close to your head. Rattling chains, ghostly moans, shrieking laughter. The hair on the back of your neck stands up. Goosebumps trail up your arms. Suddenly you hear an organ play, low and mournful.
You stand in fear as the door to the mansion opens and a black cloaked figure steps slowly into the courtyard. You cannot see their face, nor their feet; it is as if they're gliding along the ground. Behind them -- skeletons, arm in arm, carrying the figure's black lace shawl of seemingly impossible length. When it ends, other figures exit; translucent specters, bandaged mummies, hairy beasts, witches and devils. They all form a congregation around the single figure, ignoring you and your fellow campers for the moment.
They all go still as the organ quiets. The one figure in the center raises their arms and the dim lanterns react, flames blazing to life to illuminate the courtyard in an eerie violet light. In one swift motion, they rip the shawl from their head and reveal a wild dark mane surrounding a pale face. One black clawed finger raises toward you, painted lips pulling taught into a smile.
The atmosphere instantly changes; all of the monsters and nefarious creatures drop their intimidating facades and begin cheering, clapping,
dancing. Miss Nightshade makes her way toward the front of your group with sweeping elegant motions, stopping only to briefly waltz with a nearby zombie or engage in a short can-can with witches.
With a wave of her hand, a Levitation Learner's Permit appears in a small puff of smoke before each of you.
"With these, you can levitate anywhere as long as you're in my mind," she instructs with a smile,
"and anything that goes bump in the night is as friendly as can be, here." Your group is escorted inside the front door, which promptly locks itself shut. The music is still playing, and inside low hanging chandeliers with dripping candles keep the foyer from being completely dark. Jack-o-lanterns sit in various corners of the room while more monsters dance and mingle. They all encourage you to join in the fun. Isn't it
thrilling?
AREA ONE
The main floor leading from the foyer has a wooden floor and peeling wallpaper. There is a long and winding staircase up to the second floor, and one twisting down toward the basement. Despite the funky atmosphere, the building certainly appears dilapidated and previously abandoned, with broken floorboards and gaping holes. Portraits on the walls follow you with their eyes and giggle at any mistakes -- whether from nearby dancers or your own levitation attempts. Despite this, a large chandelier hangs in the foyer with a disco ball dangling from its center, reflecting wisps of candle light. Your main source of illumination is your own levitation ball, and those of your classmates, which gleam in a variety of colors.
Your objectives on this floor are learning how to
Conjur your Levitation Ball,

Searching for Figments
You do not need to collect Figments to progress. Each figment may only be collected once per character. Once you leave an area, you may no longer collect figments there.
Maybe there will be something at the end if you collect them all. Maybe.
