1. the white faced maiden
Phaedra, of the snows.
Skin as white as milk, lips the slightest pink, eyes of clear blue, blond hair as pale as moonlight.
She was chosen before her eighth birthday and relies on Kyknos as one would a brother or perhaps even a father. What brings the pair to Sunderland is a mystery but perhaps it has something to do with her perpetual sadness?

2. the silver-eyed stag
Kyknos, of the sacred grove.
He is of a noble temperament and has guarded Phaedra since her youth.
