Appearance: Lina is described as somewhat fair is looks. Her long blonde hair and soft features makes her appear like a typical female member of squad 4. And it is somewhat true as she has bright blue eyes and a small bust to add to the delicate doll look that she naturally has. She tends to always wear the standard Uniform at all times, simply because it is more convenient for her to wear.

Personality: Lina is generally very polite and kind to almost everyone she speaks to, even maintaining a polite demeanor with enemies. However she is very much aware that she appears as a typically weak looking Squad 4 member, so when she is forced from her job as a medic and must fight, Lina want's to be underestimated. Lina is also known to have the patience of a saint and well as an understanding nature, this is actually one of the main reasons she joined Squad 4 since she almost never feels nervous or rushed in tight situations. However she knows when to be firm and put her foot down when others are acting out of line.
History: Lina lived in one of those small towns where everybody knew each other and had smile to give. Lina didn't live an extravagant life, her family was a typical middle class family with a typical blue-collar working father and a mother whom was a homemaker. Lina herself was a good student and was on her schools track team and was almost the definition of a model daughter. She tried her best to not grief her parents with money issues and held her own job at a local cafe where she was a popular waitress at so that she could afford college and all the expenses.
Finally she had managed to save enough money a year after graduating high school and attended a local college where she was studying criminal justice to become a lawyer. Of course Lina did do what other college students did and also had fun and went to parties although she never drank. One night she and two of her friends were walking down the sidewalk at night, going back to their dorms after attending a party when a drunk driver came speeding down the road and swerved onto the sidewalk that Lina and her friends were on and struck them head on. Within minutes ambulances had arrived and the driver had been arrested and while her two friends managed to live Lina was not as lucky and dies of her injuries later that night.
When Lina awoke she saw that she was still on the earth with a chain attached to her chest. As she wandered she saw the grief that her family and friends were going through and wished that she could comfort them. As she was simply sitting out front of her family home, trying to keep herself together she was attacked by a low level hollow and she was forced to flee. As she continued to run the Hollow was managed to hit her leg with one of it's attacks and as it was about to grab her an unknown soul reaper came out of literally nowhere and saved her and sent her to the Soul Society.
From there Lina didn't quite know what to do with herself until a kind old couple recommended she try to become a soul reaper. So with the idea in her head she joined the academy and did rather well for herself, graduating in the top 5 of her class. Finally when it came time for her to join a squad she decided upon squad 4 due to her calm and patient nature. She enjoyed what she did and was happy that she was able to save the lives of other people. Her expertise had managed to rise her enough to the rank of Vice Captain.

Sealed Appearance: The hilt and sheath are both pure white with black accents.
Release Command: "Light the sky with a purifying blaze....!"
Shikai Appearance: The blade turns solid black with odd wavy white accents that fluctuate almost like water.
Shikai Techniques/Abilities
- Black Flame- Lina Swings her sword, unleashing a burst of black flames that scorch any enemies it hits. The flames are not so normal, they alone are hot enough to melt rock to lava.
- White Flame- The exact opposite of the Black Flame, the White Flame actually releases a fire that "Burns" away wounds without actually hurting the person it "burns". It is a healing technique that Lina has become famous for since she can heal allies all while in the heat of battle with just a swing of her sword.

Combat Information
Specialization: Being a member of Squad 4, Lina is more adept in healing then actual combat. But while this is true Lina is not to be taken lightly, what she lacks in all out strength she makes up for with her cunning strategies and speed. Lina is a tactician on the battlefield and tries to come up with different ways she can lure her opponents into different traps that she can set.
Known Techniques/Skills
Lina surprisingly doesn't rely on many Kido due to the fact that combat wasn't her specialty in the academy. Not to say that Lina isn't proficient in Kido, it just isn't her specialty. She can use Kido 1 - 60 with decent success.
Other Information: Lina always carries around a Med-Kit that holds a majority of the necessary items needed for field surgery, as well as the most basic of medical items.
