Just because it's not only ToS that we want to talk about, nor is it announcements or whatever, I've decided that we all MUUUUST have a place to keep our thoughts or whatever. YESH. It's like... a chatterbox thread, but without the spam.
NO BUMPING YOU GOT THAT.
But you can discuss whatever ya want.
Except, ya know, that violating the Terms o' service and whatnot.

I buy lots of cheap stuff, and make multiple outfits with it... it's not that interesting, half of the stuff that I have was donated at the time of my birthday. sweatdrop

sad I have no idea where to post this, but I might as well post it here.
If I stop posting suddenly, it is because my house is no longer standing. See, I live right smack dab in the middle of Tornado Alley, northeast Kansas, to be exact. Yes, the land that has been scientifically proven to be flatter than a pancake, with fields of wheat and cows and whatnot. Not exactly the mecca of moderness, but hey that's really the reason my parents moved here. It won't be the peaceful farm life wilderness stuff for long, though, but that's a whole nother rage-fueled rant for later. Anyways, tonight a tornado watch/warning was issued, and it really put my life into perspective. It reminded me that in a few short minutes, my entire life could be blown away, quite literally.
I have to admit, it was awe-inspiringly beautiful. The way the sky was lit up by the flaming sunset in one side of the sky, while it was dark as night, illuminated only by flashes of searing lightning, in the other was just... incredible. There's no other way to describe it. Wind infused with the sweet smell of rain touseled the leaves on the trees, newly turned green and just beginning to flower. But when everything turns deathly calm, and the leaves stop rustling and the birds stop flying around and twittering, you know something bad is going to happen. 'The calm before the storm' is more than just a saying. Then the rain hits in one solid sheet, and it's just a matter of time untill it begins hailing. After that, all you can do is wait and hope you'll be okay.
Luckily we weren't hit very hard. We didn't lose any trees or windows. But well... tornado season is just beginning. You never know when the storm that will change your life will hit.

I have another online friend on MapleStory that lives in Kansas. It always worries me when friends that live down there get stuck in a tornado. D:
I do hope tha you guys can all just... not get hit by one. ;__; It'd honestly make me cry if I found out an online friend lost everything they owned, and possibly their life to a natural disaster.
On a lighter note, happy early Gaia Aniversary, since I'll be in Antlanta when it comes around. xD
And guinea pigs make funny noises. ;o

Woahmygod, I have a guinea pig too!! His name is Cookie. He's anti-social, because I think he was abused before we bought him. But now, he lives out his days happily in a huge outdoor cage.
