She was officially Annabelle Leigh. It wasn't as fabulous as Serenity Kinderman, but she wasn't actually supposed to be anything like her 'old self'. Serenity was dead, or at least missing, to everyone who knew her.

Thus, she didn't have work and she was still in bed. At least she got her hands on her old funds and cash stash from her house by sneaking in to her old room one night. Sitting up in bed, tank top sliding off one shoulder, blankets sliding down her stomach, the golden eyed girl was waking up and it was noon now. She rested her arms on her knees, her chin on her arms and just breathed in the summer air. Living with Lila was something she had have to do, but something she wanted to do.

God, summers sucked. It was hot despite the air conditioning on. "Lila, you here?" She asked, voice thick and sluggish because of sleep and the fact her mouth was stuffed full of cotton.

Since she graduated she was not a good morning person. Did Lila have coffee ready?

White and green hair spilled behind her as Annabelle moved to find her girlfriend in the kitchen and just leaned against her, hands on her stomach and stroking lightly. Stupid Lila should be in bed so she could get her early morning cuddle and kisses on but coffee..

Coffee. Momentarily distracted, Annabelle moved over to grab that pot and poured herself a cup before moving to get the cream and sugar and then just stirred her cup after a minute. "Mmm." She brought her cup to her lips and sipped at it before she noticed Lila was in her panties.

"...." Well then. One of her hands reached out and she slapped that bubble butt before grinning again. "Mmn.. Anyway. Good coffee." She took a deep breath and shifted to see if there was anything she could steal while food was still cooking.

Anna blinked just smiled at that kiss and gave one in return before sighing lightly and looking at her coffee and sipping on it contentedly, momentarily distracted from savaging food as her girlfriend cooked it.

"So.. I was thinking about going to apply for some jobs." She missed having a job, missed doing something during the day. Never mind the girl hadn't powered up once to check out her new Senshi uniform. As she talked, Anna went to sit down at the small table they had and she just looked Lila over. "You...wouldn't happen to know anywhere hiring? I would say let me go apply at the boutique's again, but I want to try somewhere different." Annabelle shifted in the chair already, pulling one leg up and under herself before fingering the rim of her cup as she thought.

Instincts was nope not going to happen but she wasn't.... tied to the White Moon Court anymore and it was just kind of.. awkward. Swallowing a little, Annabelle shrugged and sipped her coffee a little more, watching her girlfriend and let her brows knit. Now she looked sad.

"Come here, Lila," she murmured, arms outstretched for a hug. Neither of them liked thinking about that night but it happened and was actually really important to both of them. "...We did what we were taught and trained, right? Not your ..fault really."

"Given... the situation I think.. It was the right call? I mean if I had time to think about it, I'd probably be dead." Sure it was so painful having her home world ripped away from her. Annabelle couldn't be who she was, couldn't have the same friends, job. Never really be apart of her own family anymore, but.. "You and me both, on the questioning Senshi part."

"I mean... I was really mad at you and scared for a bit, but.." Annabelle shrugged and rested her chin on Lila's shoulder, kissing lightly. "At least I'm alive now. So you saved me." She was still really conflicted about this. Lila put her in the situation, nearly kiilled her, put her through a world of pain, and yet she had also saved her.

"...I don't know," the white haired girl said honestly, brows knitting. "...If I could pick sides, I don't know. But I was thinking about ...switching sides anyway." She took a breath and just brought Lila's fingers to her lips, kissing her knuckles lightly and humming. "I was talking to other Dark Mirror Senshi about it.. Made a few friends.." Her fingers teased up Lila's arms, stroking her skin with light, ghost touches.

"But I'm grateful ...it was you that I fought and powered down in front of Anyone else? I'd be dead right now."

For the most part, no. She wasn't a changed woman. Just a new name, new looks, but the same sort of personality to those that mattered, to Lila. Annabelle kissed Lila's shoulder and just kind of rested against her, thinking back as she seemed to absorb her heat. Disappearing wasn't an option. Even if she had disappeared, Annabelle believed that she would find Lila and fall in love with her all over again. Mainly because she believed in true love and partly because she was a stubborn, determined sap.

"Mm.. Don't you go feeling guilty. ...I know I can't stop you from it, but.. You really shouldn't.."

When she brought up her family, Annabelle just shrugged and let her brows knit a little more. She couldn't see them anymore, true, but.. "You saved my life." Is how she justified it. The white haired one swallowed and watched her girlfriend carefully before leaning in and kissing her. "...Listen, baby, don't.. worry about this anymore. I don't even ... I have you. And my Court. I'm good. I'll get new friends, you're my family."
