Kostya hadn't seen Otto in at least two weeks, and hadn't really paid attention while he'd gotten himself entwined between two ladies until it was too late. It was impossible to miss, now, after back-reading a good portion of twitter. He'd bribed a tech into shopping for some fresh things, and three or four bags balanced precariously in his arms as he waited at the door, patient.

Otto opened said door to find a Russian of the same height staring back at him. "Uh... sup..." He looked down at the bags, his food alert inside his brain going off. Instantly, he side stepped to let him in.

Kostya stepped into the room, as if nothing had changed. He pressed a bento box, of sorts, into his hands, insistent. Inside it would be a taco salad, white a slice of cake for dessert. "Mission is over now," he explained, inspecting the room and noting the additions of Cami's bed, her things and the worn-in feel of another person's occupancy, and began to put things away, startled to find ingredients where there would have normally been cobwebs. "Oh," he said, turning to Otto with a head tilt, "she is cooking also? Am not making trouble for you am I?"

"Cool. So that mean you gunna like... around again?" He wanted to say he missed having him around, but lost any will or courage to admit it.
"Uh, yeah like.. dinners or whatever. If she's home at the time." He shook his head. "No, no trouble. I really like when you cook." Otto felt awkward. Fidgeting, he set his special made bento onto the counter's island.

"More, yes," he said, nodding resolutely. "I think it vill be common, for long mission to happen sometime. I prefer, more than short one. Give time to sink teeth into verk. But, is good to be back."
There were a lot of pressing questions, too, that circulated in his mind, and Otto was newly equipped (or, perhaps, re-equipped) to handle them.
"That is good, not vant to interrupt. Lunch is best for now anyvay. Should coordinate shopping vith her." He jabbed a thumb at the fridge, and whispered, almost conspiratorial: "I think you have thirty-six egg now."
Finished, he turned around, taking a seat next to Otto-- but one stool away, for space-- and relaxed. "Am glad to do it. You are not very responsible, how much sugar you eat vhile gone? Candy bar are not lunch time food, you know."
Right back into the nagging Babushkastya mode.

"Oh..." That's a lot of eggs. "You... don't happen to know how to make Devilled Eggs, do yeah?" That would get rid of most of them. Plus he really liked devilled eggs. Otto had almost gotten used to the lack of fussing and nagging. Otto gave a light eye roll, "I dunno. I don't keep track of what I eat. Packing a candy bar is just easier."

"Yes yes, can do that for this veekend. Take a bit of time to make many, but most important--" Kostya clutched his heart in mock horror, giving Otto the stinkeye. "Does your Cami know this?" he asked, squinting. "Or your Maebe?"

Otto stared at Kostya as if he were on drugs. Was he making fun? Or was he concerned and displaying it in a strange way?
"Do they know... what? That I got an overabundance of eggs in the fridge? Or that I eat Mars bars for lunch?"

"No, the egg do not matter. Your candy lunch!" He smacked Otto in the back of the head, albeit lightly.
"Vhat kind of girlfriend are they, anyvay?" Kostya grew more somber, the teasing fading away into genuine curiosity. "So many people have, and so much exist around it. I find I am...curious."

The smack on the head was something Otto was surprised didn't happen more often. Lord knows he deserved them more.
Kostya's curiosity was met with a groan and an eye roll. "They aren't my girlfriends." He corrected, though that didn't seem to make his situation sound any better. "I mean, Cami is my room mate. I invited her to stay with me cause we get along really well. And Maebe is...."
Maebe was....
"Well we..." Otto grew a bit flustered, "We uh..."
Tight lipped.
Was he seriously sleeping with a girl he didn't consider a girlfriend, lover or soulmate? What was it about having 'integrity' and 'standards' that made this faux pas?

Kostya squinted, looking more like a dog attempting to comprehend a complex situation rather than someone sceptical over whether Otto was telling the truth.
"Okay. So, Cami is Not-Girlfriend, and Maebe is Not-Girlfriend, but you are having the sex vith Maebe?"
It was confused, and cautious, like he was sure he might be wrong.

"I.....yes." Otto replied, his mouth a thin line. "I have sex with Maebe."

"Okay!" That at least put Maebe into one category. To Kostya, dating someone and having sex with them were entirely separate ideas, primarily due to the values that America had instilled into him.
A pause.
"Why are you not having the sex with Cami?"

Otto's expression was one mixed with scandal and befuddlement. A strong mix. "What?" Why was he not having sex with Cami?
"Um... because we're friends." As if that answered that. Yes, that would do.

"I see. So, you are like, America and me. Thank you for answering. I have only vun more question...Do Maebe and Cami have...?"
