Lock had a lot of questions. Too many questions.
Seeing as he was eternally doomed to chase after Shun forever, he sought out the older reaper for advice. It wasn't hard to seek his company, considering Shun lived only so many floors above him.
He knocked on the reaper's door and then waited, patiently. If shun was out he would simply come at another time.

Shun opened up the door, then stared at the younger reaper that had shown up.
"Something you want?" he asked in a neutral tone, "...Or do you think this is your room again?"
Yes. He didn't forget that time.

Lock scowled, but only said, "Sorry to disturb you." Lock knew the importance of politeness when someone was entering your personal space, unlike a fire demon we all knew and loved.
"I ... during the battle- I need to know what happened. Some ... dark queen lady stabbed me through the back, and then I don't remember anything. Everyone says some s**t went down." He looked to Shun, leaning casually against the wall. "You gonna invite me in?"

The one eyed Reaper stood there in silence for a few moments, then stepped back to let Lock in. There weren't many places to sit. Just one chair at the desk, then the bed, and of course the floor. Shun moved on back and crossed his arms.
"What do you want to know first?"

Lock followed Shun into the room, looking at his sparse furniture and then back to Shun. He went to sit on the edge of the bed, but was ready to move the moment Shun made his little glaring face.
"Everything," he said with a groan, leaning back on his hands. "Who was that black queen?" Start simple.

"If you're talking about the one in armor that had arrived sometime after one of the hunters got a hold of a shining blade... I don't know. Or are you talking about someone else?" He asked, raising his brow. Shun was so caught up in fighting and wanting to destroy all his enemies that he couldn't really see everything going on the battlefield.

Lock shook his head. "No, she didn't have armor. It was definitely a girl ... vines and thorns everywhere. She was a queen, for sure." His brows knit in confusion as he thought about who she was.
He crossed his arms and said, "She ... stabbed me through. She put something in me- I don't know what and Voodoo says she can see anything in my back, but I know she did something." He pursed his lips, added, "Then again, Voodoo's always been a dirty liar."

"Wait. Were her hands twisted backwards?" Shun asked as things were ringing a bell, "Feet too, for that matter. If so... that's Amrita. She..."
He furrowed his brow, recalling the patchworks' concern regarding a certain mark that had appeared on her hand. That and the whole 'dream' thing regarding revenge's door. That.. didn't paint a very good image right about now. No doubt the patchwork was having some extra worries about everything right now.
"She was branded by Merlin, the legacy of Revenge awhile back. That... might have to do with that."

Lock shook his head, unsure of what to answer to Shun. "I don't know. She stabbed me in the back so I wasn't really concerned what way her hands were turned," he said, troubled by the fact that thing might have been a student.
"Amrita ... so you know her? Do you know where I could find her? Talking to her might yield some answers ..." he said, formulating an idea. It wasn't the most encouraging lead, but it would at least give him something to go off of. One lead was better than no lead.

"She's on the student council," he noted, "She shouldn't be hard to find. I doubt you'll get much more answers from her, honestly. Awhile back she got marked and she didn't know what that entailed. Apparently that might be one of those things."
Shun shrugged lightly.
"What else?"

Okay, student council. That was easy enough. He nodded as Shun spoke. Even if the girl had no answers, there was still a chance for some answers. That was good enough for him.
"Okay. Well, after she stabbed me, I don't remember much. I remember getting armor ... The sky cracked and I blacked out." He was a little embarrassed to admit it. It was incredibly uncool. "So ... what happened?"

"That crazy wench Medea ended up killing Death," he stated flatly. Shun paused there to let that sink in for a bit, "Yes. The Ancient of Death is no more. I don't know what the hell that means exactly... I don't really know what happens when an Ancient dies."
It concerned him, really. The fear of death was something he drew from specifically, considering his species.
"So the ******** horsemen won."

Lock's face fell from confusion to utter disdain. "How- why?"
He crossed his arms, considering what death's ... death meant. "But what does that mean for us? Our whole thing is getting souls from dead people ..."
It was going to suck if they suddenly had no FEAR source. Reapers would become a dying race nearly instantly. "I'm beginning to hate those horsemen."

"I don't know all the details. She wanted the horsemen to have more power. Or maybe just she wanted more power. One or the other. As for how... I think she was using the legacy of Destruction," Shun replied with a furrowed brow. Though he slowly nodded to Lock as he vocalized one of his concerns for what this meant exactly.
"I don't know. We'll... find out. One way or another," he grumbled.
"They've certainly made it onto my s**t list pretty quickly."

"Legacy of destruction? What's that?" he asked. Shun seemed to have forgotten that Lock had not been there for forever and a day. Even in wonderland he'd been lost and confused as to what the hell was going on.
At least Shun and Lock were in agreeance. ******** Medea.
