Ever since she had grown, Adriane found herself on the go rather often. Things were too still with her mother and siblings. Things never changed. As much as she loved her family, she found herself happier on her own. Not that she liked to admit it. She really didn't. She was supposed to always be happy anyways, so she didn't understand the preference.
It didn't stop her from exploring the land, though. She met so many interesting ulaya that way! There was this nice blue boy that Adriane had just hung out with for a bit, but it was time to move on. Again, things were becoming to same-y for her. She was excited, though. There was always an adventure just waiting right around the corner! Her tail waggled a little, much like a dog's.

Stave was uncomfortable.
Some may question why, but those who truly knew him would understand his situation. He was nomadic, and always had been. Born with the desire to keep going, it was a shock his mother could halt his paws long enough to keep him in her den. Still, she couldn't trap him for long, as the second he became an adult he fled into the night. No, he hadn't been abused. Actually, his home life had been rather satisfying. He simply needed to travel, the wild calling to his young soul much like a wolf to her pack.
Still, he had stayed here for far too long. Why? He had tried to entertain the norm. It was considered proper to settle down, start a family, and stay in one spot. Stave wanted to be "normal". He wanted a family and a mate, and yet this desire to keep moving no matter the cause or punishment would never falter. He had lost friends, family, and more yet Stave couldn't sit still. It simply was not possible. He had to move, or else risk his entire being shattering and replaced by an empty and lost soul.
He was going on three months stuck here, and already he was feeling the familiar twitch in his paws. He wanted to go, be he didn't dare. Not yet. He had a feeling something good would happen if he just stayed a few days longer. Something wonderful. Something life changing.
He just needed to sit on this damn rock and wait for that wonderful thing to find him.
