Territory of Las Noches
Deep within the bowels of Las Noches is a great hall equipped with a circular platform on which rested a sphere of glowing Reiryoku and Reishi particles. It is held afloat by a powerful cylinder of Reiryoku constantly swirling around it, making even stepping onto the platform a chore for the weaker Hollow. Above it is a large chute that connects the world beneath Las Noches with the eternal night sky of Hueco Mundo.

This is the Genesis Chamber, the place where Arrancars are created. The device behind this forceful evolution is known as the Cuna, the cradle of all Arrancars, and had been created by none other than Arturo Plateado. His research has been lost for the most part and only scraps remain, ensuing that there is no way for Las Noches to properly understand, let alone replicate the device. It is only after a century of research and studies that Cillian Folamh, successor of Arturo Plateado, finally understood how to wield it.

Though its initial purpose had been to unlock the potential of Hollows, it is capable of transforming material particles into Reishi and pulling them into Hueco Mundo, towards itself. This Reishi was unlike any that could be found in Soul Society or Hueco Mundo: it came from the Human World and was saturated with human essence, exactly what was needed to stabilize the creation of Arrancars.

At the exact moment as the anchors that had been set up in the Human Realm released a crimson beam of light, the Genesis Chamber would be flooded by a blinding blue light. It receded after a few seconds, just enough for whoever had been present to see a glowing trail of Reishi particle rush down the chute above the floating sphere and the platform maintaining its position in the air. Slowly, the sphere would crack, releasing even more light through them until there would be a large hole. The Cura had been activated and into the light Hollows shall step to be reborn anew as the fourth-generation of Arrancars.

(OoC: If you guys don't know where to make your first post as an Arrancar, this would be a good place.)

One of the hollows born from the destruction of the earth village was the predetermined ninth Espada an Adjuchas which was bordering the line between becoming a vasto lorde. One of the strongest known Adjuchas when it came to the scope of his defensive powers, although he had little ability to attack. This particular hollow looked like a demon in all aspects, fiery red hair, clad in a black cloak with red tints, his black void-like eyes scanning his surroundings unsure of what was going on or where he was. He remembered a beam of cerulean light but all before that was a blank to him now, forgotten, he wasn't sure what was happening but he knew that the past probably no longer mattered and he should leave those thoughts behind. A flood of new things crowded his mind, new languages he had learned, new abilities all setting themselves in his brain as if he were able to access them the entire time. He tried to speak and his voice sounded strange, more human and younger than he thought it might have been, he had a young voice and a young appearance as well but his age was indiscernible. "Wh-what.." he chimed as he stood to his feet clumsily nearly falling over just by doing so, in his earlier form he had walked on all fours so this was all so new to him. He looked down at his own body, the tanned skin, black gloves, shoes, pants, the strange cloak around him also black, he was able to see his bare chest and a snaking mark which seemed to crawl all the way up his collarbone and neck onto his face, the number nine painted over his eye although eh could not tell. He saw his hollow hole able to realize he was still some kind of hollow, perhaps an evolution of his former self in some way branching from the standard cycle. He felt his face, letting his finger run around the jagged scale-like mask fragment on his right eye, he was indeed still a hollow in some aspects, although he was not sure what he lost and gained from this transformation. He took note of a katana on his hip and it reminded him of the Shinigami and their tools, it seemed he was also carrying one now although he hadn't the slightest clue in how to wield it or use it effectively.

His power flooded the room, reiatsu physically manifesting around him in an orange blaze, knowledge of all he could accomplish and not seemed to etch itself into his brain although he couldn't remember where he had learned it, his brain was being hit so hard with information it felt like his skull was splitting. In that second he learned how to better control his reiatsu and was able to dull the orange haze down into a thin aura which surrounded him, he took a look around breathing in all that surrounded him.
"Arran..car..." the word came to him, he blinked black eyes as his hands came up to soothe his temples rubbing them lightly trying to ease the pain his head was currently feeling. He walked around the room getting more accustomed to two legs, his mind was scattered everywhere trying to pay attention to everything surrounding him at once, he didn't want to leave this room, it felt purposeful to him and he was too confused at the moment to attempt at exploring, he could feel other powers emanating throughout the area and wondered if they were others like him, if they would come for him, if he had to seek them instead, for now he just paced anxiously, letting his mind slowly ease into a calmer state, the information coming to him reaching less and less, soon to stop.

『Euthymias Hyaenidae 』

Euthymias was currently pacing back and forth, utterly bored. Well, that wasn't quite true. Euthymias wasn't even sure if he knew what bored felt like - there was always something or other to capture his attention and keep him entertained. However, he was under strict orders from Cillian to not get distracted as he normally did, as he was supposed to be looking after the Genesis Chamber, seeing as there were new Arrancar supposed to be born today.

Even if he was tempted to disobey, as he commonly did, even Euthymias understood how important his current task was, and as such, ignored his impulses.

Finally, though, it seemed that he would be allowed to do something interesting. Seeing the light from the Cura shine from outside the room, he hurried in. The Cura was lit up, signaling it's activation and indicating that an Arrancar was soon to emerge. One of Euthymias' favorite parts of this process was attempting to guess what would come through, and what they would be capable. this time, however, his guess could not be further from the truth. He had been betting on a large, monstrous Arrancar, but what emerged was incredibly, well, human in appearance. If he had not had the Estigma shared in some form by every Arrancar, he could have passed for a human.

Not allowing the guessing game failure dampen his spirits, he watched, chuckling to himself, as the newly created Arrancar looked himself over, attempting to get his bearings. He stumbled around a bit as he reigned in his Reiatsu, then seemed to speak, saying only one word - Arrancar.

Euthymias decided to make his presence known, clapping slow and loud. "Correct you are, my freshly-minted friend!" Euthymias strode right up to the Arrancar, and casually reached up to clap a hand on his shoulder. "Welcome to Las Noches! Ya got a name, or should I call you Dark, Red, and Scaly?"

He heard a voice in his head which seemed to hurt his aching temples even more, it was playful and carefree, almost bubbly when it spoke to him. He blinked and tried to assemble the words correctly in his head, trying to figure out what he was hearing, it ended up being a welcome to somewhere, and a request for his name. It took him even longer to notice that the voice was not inside his mind but instead there was a figure beside him which looked oddly like him, and not at the same time. He had long hair which was dark in color as well as blue eyes, his mask fragment was on his mouth and seemed to be much more filled out than his own. Unlike the red haired males outfit he wore the opposite in shade, a white bodysuit of sorts which looked almost uniform to him. "Name.. Novena.. N-No.. Axe... Axolotl..." his answer seemed confused as Axolotl was busy trying to organize all the knowledge being fed to him, he soon realized his ranking was Novena while his name seemed to be Axolotl, taken after his adjuchas form where he looked like something akin to the strange amphibian. He was quickly learning the language he was speaking and piecing things together, however it didn't stop his survival instincts from sinking in when the strange creature beside him dared to lay a finger on him.

He could feel his own body reacting to the sensation of somebody being so forward, his hand reached for the sheathed blade at his side and instead of unsheathing it the blade evaporated into nothing. The orange reiatsu enveloping him seemed to flare up again although it was accompanied by the secretion of a white liquid around his body which encased him. The thin layer of gelatin seemed to protect him from the hand clasping his shoulder, and in a few moments the man at his side would feel his hand burn like hell thanks to the acidic property his armor was now giving off. Axolotl seemed to be unsure of what was happening to himself, his body reacting off primal instinct and protecting him even if he didn't feel threatened he had yet to put a grasp on his abilities and know how to use them properly.
"Who are you.. where is this?" the questions finally seemed to come flooding in after the information had stopped, he had a wary look in the depth of his black eyes but he seemed almost arrogant, he wasn't sure why he felt so untouchable but he felt he could afford to be aggressive and not have to worry. He was clearly still confused, and being confused and alone would surely cause caution and irrational decisions, he was unsure if he was in the clutches of friend or foe after all.

It had happened so fast, the light flooded into the room just after her defeat of the previous premera espada. As the last of his form had been devoured by the vasto lorde the blue light had come giving her far more power then that weakling of a meal had given her. While bathed in the light the vasto lorde had changed her thick armored hide and burning claws replaced by more human like appendages. Stand it the light she waited allowing another to leave this power before herself, the newly created arrancar was in no hurry. This light had for the first time, in her memory, given her a release from the constant hunger.

Yet then she felt a second, not of the light, arrancar enter the area. Now with two here and the slight feeling of more coming the female stepped out of the energy. Unlike the novena, the new premera was use to walking upon two legs, having been a vasto lorde. She would inspect the two arrancar present, both seemed strong though one looked far more comfortable in his own skin then the other. As she had been stepping out the newer of the two before her had been asking for the others name and where he was. Though she knew where she was the woman was curious as to who the older arrancar was, thus she stayed quiet and watched.

『Euthymias Hyaenidae 』

Euthymias watched with interest as the Arrancar he had grabbed seemed to secrete a liquid. It took a moment after for him to snatch his hand back, feeling a burning sensation. Observing his palm closely, he could see the flesh being eaten away by some sort of acid. He let out a loud cackle.

"Ooh, passive-aggressive. Well, Axolotl, you are in the Genesis Chamber of Las Noches, and I am your esteemed leader!" With a flick of his wrist, he removed the remaining acid from his hand, watching as hi spalm stopped smoking and began repairing the damage done.

With no regard for his personal safety, Euthymias turned to face the same direction as Axolotl and casually draped his arm across his shoulders. If it injured him, it injured him, and that was that, no point worrying about it. "What say you and I go introduce you to everyone else, huh Axy-boy?"

His plans, however, were cut off as the Cura lit up once more, and he craned his neck to check behind him, to observe as another Arrancar stepped out. "Aye, you've got a sister! Grats!"

As the other arrancar recoiled from the acidic properties he made no aggressive moves, he barely even acknowledged the fact he had been harmed by the newcomer, instead he continued on answering Axolotl's questions to the best of his abilities. When he came forward to place his hands back onto the fiery haired devil he would find the liquid's properties were no longer acidic, in fact soon after the initial threat had ended the gelatin formed back into his sheathed zanpakuto. It was just a small display of power and caution preformed and since he felt no more need for it seeing as the other arrancar did not have hostile intentions getting rid of it seemed understandable. "You are the leader.. you created me?" he seemed to understand although he couldn't discern if the other was lying or not, seeing as he had just been born and he was the one here to greet him Axolotl could only assume what he said was the truth. He was now mostly convinced that this other arrancar was both his creator and leader, his naivety was understandable seeing as he knew nothing else so far about his predicament. He didn't have much else to say about it, he supposed he was thankful to his creator and would follow his orders although he didn't know why this man expected him to be part of his little group, his leadership wasn't exactly solidified, he was sure the others who might have been created had doubts about an alliance as well, many hollows preyed on each other and were solitary creatures. ""There are others like us?" he asked after the arrancar at his side talked about meeting everyone else, he had to suppose he wasn't the first although he wasn't sure how the first even came to be. It made sense that he wasn't alone he supposed, he wasn't some kind of special subject, and he didn't want to be either.

His thoughts were proven correct as another arrancar seemed to appear from the same light that he had, although she seemed to be much more under control of her emotions and less distraught over the change. She was walking right away, standing, observing, she seemed completely in sync with the new evolution she had just undergone and it made Axolotl almost jealous. As she was called his sister he cringed, he had no family and wasn't sure he wanted or needed any for that matter, he just shook his head and took to ignoring her for the time being, he had no direct reason to be friendly or show comradery to anybody here at the moment, he didn't understand anything that was currently happening after all.
"We are hollows not family.. show me to the others so I can get a grasp on what all this is..." The newly born was more blunt and almost fed up in his speech, he seemed agitated by everything which was to be expected as he was currently completely out of the loop. His anger made his blood boil and his reiatsu flare up again for a brief moment before he removed the other arrancars hands and began walking towards the exit. Standing by the door and waiting to be led it seemed he was tired of all the talking, he wanted to be persuaded to listen, to accept, however this other man didn't have it in him to do that, he was too lax and carefree, he simply wasn't passionate enough...

Esmeralda's silent curiosity was met with humor, not an emotion the female arrancar was to familiar with. He claimed to be the leader, yet he felt no stronger than the premera she faced earlier. Thus he was ether the new premera or the segunda, looking at him, Esmeralda would let out a slightly irritated breath. "If you claim leadership then am I to understand that you are the new premera espada?" Contrary to her expression the woman's voice had a very kind sound if a bit mockingly respectful. As her question hung in the air she would walk towards the two her eyes looking at them as if both were a rip fruit ready to be picked.

『Euthymias Hyaenidae 』

Watching Axolotl walk away after shrugging off Euthymias' remarks, Euthymias felt a small pang of annoyance. Not at the new Arrancar himself, but rather at how overly somber he seemed to be. The feeling, however, quickly passed.

Euthymias turned to fully face the other Arrancar, who was questioning his rank. "Wha? No, I'm not. I'm the Segunda. What gave you that silly idea, little lady?" The last bit was not said without it's fair share of irony, given that she had half a foot on Euthymias in height.

"Anyway, if you want to meet the others, I suppose we should start with Mel. Yep, Mel's her name. Ol Melly-Melly-Mell-Mell. Melllllllll-ah!" Euthymias started out the door, not bothering to check if the others were following, before he continued talking. "After that is Cillian, though I just sent him out on a mission. Such a loyal chap, always ready to do whatever needs to be done for the greater good."

Axolotl actually managed a laugh at the Segunda's response to his so-called sister, smiling pearly whites for a moment before he composed himself again, having somebody so lively around at least made things more interesting, people being serious all the time could become boring. He listened as the superior espada continued to fill him in further, giving him the name of another ally rather playfully and he took a mental note of it as well as the other name being mentioned. He exited the room with the Segunda and followed him closely not sure how to make his way around the winding halls just yet, he had a long way to go before he'd feel comfortable here but at least his comrades were friendly enough. "You're name?" he asked rather bluntly, he hadn't given it to him yet, he seemed to be answering all of his other questions openly so he assumed it had just slipped the mind of his fellow arrancar. He was interested in finding out as much as he could about this organization he seemed to have been pulled into, he supposed he might as well make the best of it. [exit with Euthymias]

So her assumption had been correct he was the segunda, which meant his claim of supremecy was most likely false. Yet as she had no reason to voice her opinion Esmeralda elected to "play along" until such time as he crossed her. As the trio was leaving the area the segunda mentioned two others, claiming that he'd sent one off on a mission. Esmeralda could not help but wonder was this a lie as well; was there a mission, if so was it really a subordinate or was it a superior that had gone. This man gave more questions then answers the more she was around him.

Then the freshly made 9th espada spoke one more, this time asking a more direct question. The female arrancar only hoped there'd be a real answer this time.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The massive scorpion stepped cautiously into the chamber with her nervous escort, long spiked legs clicking loudly in the quiet room as she stepped towards the platform. She tilted her head, glancing up at the crack in the sphere, her tail twitching nervously at the amount of power drifting from the object so casually. "So... What, I just step into this thing and it will start the process of changing me into one of you? Because if this is some kind of trick..." The arrancars who brought her here quickly stepped back, hastily assuring here there was no trickery involved. She clambered onto the platform, skittering up to the tear in the sphere, tilting her head as she looked over it, looking for vicious intent. Visually, there was nothing that she could see. She wished the floor was made out of some kind of sandy substance, so she could check the area around her with her reishi. She stepped forward, getting close to the opening before finally jumping into it. Blue light blasted the room as it changed her. Her mask snapped. Her body crunched as it changed. A whirl of activity and information and removal of her instincts left her confused as the sphere spit her out onto the floor, shivering slightly as her new senses assaulted her. The Arrancars rushed forward, one of the covering her body with a cloak as they dragged her off the platform, sitting her shaking form on the floor below it. Her Sand Sense was back, but it was working through the stone with a much larger area. So much information at once.

They let her sit there for the moment, one of them getting her some clothes and tossing them in front of her, ordering her to get dressed and get ready. The others went silent for a moment as she looked up. ".... Get out." She growled. The area below the cloak shone for a bit as a long, gleaming blade was created, shining dully as it stuck out below the covering. "GET OUT." She screamed as she jumped up, striking the arrancar across the chest and sending him reeling back as the rest of the group bolted out the door, not wanting to be near the furious woman. The wounded man ran after his comrades as she dropped to her knees, marshaling her thoughts as she blocked out unnecessary information coming from the area around her. She sighed blissfully as she limited the area of her sense, dropping the cloak from around her bare body before crawling into the clothes they had left for her and standing up. She stalked towards the two fidgeting Arrancars by the door that had been given instructions for her.

『Euthymias Hyaenidae 』

"Euthymias Hyaenidae." He answered simply, as his attention was now being pulled elsewhere. Namely, the large bone-white scorpion that was being led into the Genesis Chamber as the small group exited. As they passed the two low-ranking Arrancar leading the Hollow, Euthymias grabbed one by the arm to stop him.

"When you're done in there, bring them up to Mel's tower. I don't feel like making another trip down." He let go of the arm, and continued his path out of the Genesis Chamber. "So... what do you think they'll turn out to be? I"m betting on a fast, close-range fighter. Speaking of which..." He once again craned his head backwards to give the two Arrancars his best (creepiest) smile. "You two have any idea of what your powers are? Maybe some kind of super twin powered fusion?" He had noticed that Axolotl did not like the implication that they were siblings, so Euthymias decided to drag out what was initially going to be a one-time joke.

Again, bright light would flood the room as billions of glowing Reishi particles descended upon the Cura, bringing it back to life. Though it had not been fully replenished in Shinigami and Human essence, the device would be functional once more even for a short period of time. Nearby Hollows, understanding the implication of the device's awakening, threw themselves at it, ripping each other apart to get to it before their peers. All wanted a small taste of the power promised to them, all wanted the right to call themselves an Espada.

The struggle would be short-lived, however, and out of the sphere walked a small group of humanoids ready for war.
