Hekate seemed to be a little on edge after they lost the majority of their powers, she couldn't even scry well anymore that was a simple task. Persephone found it amusing she did enjoy other's pain after all even that of her own sister. Persephone would never tell Hekate that. she enjoyed the physical output a bit more than her sister. But it didn't matter now that Hekate couldn't defend herself, Persephone was her sisters only defence.
With Hekate in the back of the cave trying to call on what little power she had left, if any at all Persephone found herself walking about looking for something to amuse herself. Wouldn't it be nice to have a pet to beat when she was bored again? She missed the furry little punching bag she used to have. Alas it was not to be for those cute twins to follow.
She would find another one, there were always weak willed stallion's around. Persephone moved through the forest silently looking for some sort of poor soul to vent her boredom. One may not even realize she was there, the mare had an excellent ability to hide her presence, no one was supposed to know death was upon them until it was too late.

Speaking of weak-willed stallions... Belenus was quite done with the Shadow herd for the day. He had informed the people who needed to know that he would be stepping out for a time and that was that. He was out. Done. Finished. Helias was a failure. Melitta was difficult to wrangle. Taranis and Blake, hah! They were no where to be found. Akane was mouthing off to him and quite frankly, he had most definitely had enough. He needed to blow off some steam. It was at that moment that he spotted a rather large, beautiful mare not to far ahead. The stallion licked his lips, his white eyes locking onto her. Her long, flowing black hair. Her large, powerful wings. Her tail and ears were something of interest and he cocked his head to the side as he inspected them. My, my, my...she was something special, wasn't she? Belenus but his bottom lip for just a second before he called out to her. "My lady, do you know where you are? You are treading into the territory of the Shadow herd. Now, I do not mind your company but my herd...is not so friendly. Are you lost?" he called out, a smirk on his lips, his voice deep but playful. Something about this mare gave off a...different vibe. He liked it.

Persephone's feline ears swiveled someone dare call out to her? Call her? Like a common mare? Persephone's crimson eyes flared, her markings pulsed. She calmed quickly this was rather fortunate she'd already found a over eager stallion.
Someone wanted to be her new toy rather eagerly didn't he? Persephone smiled wickedly into her wing to hide her smile she preened her feathers. Persephone was a vain creature after all. He was in for a surprise. Her eyes settled on the bright gold and black stallion, the one who called to her. She wondered if he knew what he'd just wrought upon himself. That would be fun if he was still unawares. Oh but she didn't play quite the same as her sister, at least not for long. Persephone had something funner in mind especially if he was just what she was looking for...
Stallions always enjoyed reaching for something they could not have. He came off as playful, so he wanted to play then? The mare folded her obsidian wings sending the spirits dissipating into the shadows. Without a doubt he would come closer if he felt less threatened they usually did. The mare seemed meld into the shadows of the trees as though she was one herself If he would not make the first step than she would.
"I go where I please, herd boundaries mean nothing to me." the mare said hiding the sharp teeth hidden beneath her beautiful smile. Persephone smiled alluringly "Why don't you come here if you're interested in playing..." she let the sentence trail off "you seem rather tense," The mare fluffed her elegant yet powerful wings, "why don't you let some steam off I'll make it worth your while." Persephone just needed to get in a little closer then the fun could begin.

She was a bold mare, that was for certain. She obviously had no knowledge of the sort of herd she was treading into if she simply did not care. They were not friendly, that was for certain. Dangerous to a fault. Most stallions on patrol would have easily already attacked her and yet...Belenus was not quite in the mood. Still, he could not quite get a good look at her. She seemed backed into the shadows and reluctant to move. She seemed much larger than he was as well.
Interesting.
While she certainly did not sound like a Sunflare flunky, Belenus was still reluctant to come much closer until he was certain she was alone. After all, she was very...outspoken.
He took just a few steps closer before flashing his most winning grin her way.
"Why don't you come meet me out here in the sunlight so I can get a better look at your lovely face?"

Persephone lacked fear as a creature realm of the dead. But she was a creature of the shadow and prefered to remain that way. It was The stallion however, was still staying away from her, maybe he wasn't as curious as she gave him credit for. A shame, this was getting rather boring. She tired so easily of playing this game. It was simply not fun.
Persephone grinned when the stallion did approach a bit closer. She supposed the distance was close enough. Using her wings for a bit of extra lift Persephone pounced like a cat in front of the stallion. Her movement and figure was beautiful and graceful. Her size however, was rather daunting. The mare looked down at the stallion her crimson eyes flaring again. Her midnight curls fell against her shoulders.
"What a handsome stallion you are, Do you see me now?" she cooed how did he taste she wondered. "Such a charming smile, play with me wont you?" without warning the mare pushed forward aggressively reaching out for Belenus with sharp pointed teeth hoping to find flesh.

She was breath taking.
And trying to take away his breath.
Belenus shifted back a ways at her sudden movement, unwilling to be within reach of whatever she had planned. It was clear now that she was a predator and he was the intended prey. This made him laugh as her fangs came forward but rather than move away, the arcturus aimed his sharp horn towards her open mouth and jabbed upwards in an attempt to cut her open. She was much larger than he was, yes, but he was Belenus of the Shadow. He had no fear of the things that lurked in the dark.
He was one of them.
"I do love a good game," he shot back, laughing still, "but what prize goes to the winner, hm?"

"What's left of your flesh." she smiled wickedly. This handsome child needed to know his place.
Persephone's eyes sparkled maliciously grinning as he pointed his horn at her mouth. Ohhh such an urge she had to take his horn between her teeth and snap it. Things did just get quite interesting. He seemed fearless and defiant, it made her want to hurt him so much more, her hunger only increased as he laughed like her shadow was nothing.
She was much more than he would bagrin for. he would regret teasing her. She moved a little closer.
"My, my you are yummy." she teased seductively stroking his horn gently with her wing tips on his horn, "I'm just gonna eat you right up." the spirits that surrounded her reappeared and began swirling around the stallion as as a distraction she made a move to get him off balance.

This mare was bizarre and yet he found himself intrigued and thankful that he had not had to mar her pretty face with his horn. Still, she did not seem to be done with her game of cat and mouse and he would not let her distract him with her feathery, dark wings. He was used to dealing with stars like this; his entire heard was full of self-serving, manipulative personalities that would do anything to get what they wanted. When he did not bow to her show of force, she merely chose another method to get what she wanted.
Belenus did not forget those fangs.
Still, for a moment he was distracted by the...what were they? Tiny shadows. They had eyes. Were they some sort of spirit creature?
This caught him off guard but he maintained his posture so as not to show his sudden concern. Blod was a thing from hell but she did not work with spirits. Perhaps this mare was something more than a mere predator.
The stallion pulled away from her gentle caresses and charged to the side, out of the ring formed by the creatures, paying no heed as to whether or not he went by one or through one. Whatever they were, he would not be caught in their trap.
"Now, now, that is not fair play," he purred, biting back the minute speck of concern growing in the back of his mind.
Just what sort of mare was he toying with here?
Belenus stomped his hoof on the ground in a challenge and smirked at her, "Unless you can only play when the odds are stacked in your favor," the insult was clear from his tone.

Strange, her charms held no distraction to him, neither did her spirits. Mhmn. It was annoying he wasn't like the rest she'd come across. She licked her lips, her meal would be much more enjoyable this way. She'd actually get to fight for her meal. The rest always came so easy, she was beautiful after all. the most beautiful held the sharpest thorns always. She would savor this one for as long as she could.
The spirits scattered circling around disordered, however after a moment they returned to Persephone's side. And she smiled playing with one of the unfortunate souls that surrounded her.
"Ooh, and in what world do gods and demi-gods play fair?" she purred back at him. She being the latter a demi goddess. her father the god of death.
Persephone laughed at his insult to her he did not seem to understand. Even without her spirits the odds were in her favor. Just how much could she hurt him? Just thinking about it made her light headed with ecstasy. A soft sigh escaped her "Why don't you come here and see." She challenged back.

Her words made Belenus consider the…spirits around her. Gods and demi-gods? Either she was insane or…No. She was insane. Perhaps he could have gathered that a little sooner, couldn’t he? The only god Belenus had ever seen was one of death and it was locked up on an island, never to be heard from again. A monster so terrible his own mother seemed to fear it…And yet she could not stop it from breeding before she hid it away. Still, if his mother could handle such a creature, so too could he handle this mare.
“If you truly were a goddess, you would not need the odds in your favor to win. Victory is only sweet when it is hard earned, nothing merely given is truly satisfying,” he responded in kind, his tail flicking lazily now that he was out of range of whatever bizarre thing she had tried to do to him before. What he did notice was that the things he ran by seemed to be…sentient, somehow. They were disturbed by his passing. Just what was this mare, exactly?
“I have no fear of false gods, my dear. I have seen true death and you do not wear its face,” he cooed back at her before charging, horn down. He did not put his full speed or strength into it, however. This was merely a test to see how she responded. Belenus prepared himself to change course at any moment, his pale eyes never leaving her for a moment.

"No, it's just more fun that way, to watch mortals writhe in the agony of being completely filled with despair, left with no hope!" she laughed pure joy filled with wickedness. It made her so giddy seeing the despair fill the faces of others. She missed her toy, those two little twins were so much fun to toy with. She pranced to the side sweeping her tail toward his face as she did. She was indeed quite mad in some respect. that tended to come with the territory of being a death envoy to criminal souls. She Brushed the stallion with the tips of her wing. he was quite strong or foolish, Not many would openly attack her like this, they either fled or she caught, tortured then left them.
"Oh? You've met my father then?"
She skipped a bith farther away watching him. She couldn't help but be intrigued, Her father was here, of course he was everywhere he was a god. But to reveal himself before this? it make Persephone far more curious to take him down and see him in pain.
"You say you have no fear of gods, you will." she promised him. the spirits had scattered when she moved settling back around her. "Go now you poor souls." she purred at them though there was no sweetness to her voice but an amused tone. "This one is all mine, Don't tell my sister..." She added warning them them. She wasted to have some uninterrupted fun.
