The eleventh division barracks are located within an old castle with one main keep that is 5 floor tall from the outside and many smaller lodges and buildings surrounding it. The surrounding housings were positioned to form two concentric circles or baileys around the keep while a taller 8 feet tall wall surrounded the the whole area. However, due to the nature of the members of the division, the gates have all be removed, as though challenging any intruders to dare step foot within their den.
The captain resides in the main keep with the seated officers, but there are no rules or assigned housing. The strongest picks where they sleep while the weaker can only settle for scraps and fix what has been broken.

Enter in the new recruit of Squad 11. Raika Suzuko, surviving his test against the former captain left him confused as to where he should head. Something in his brain told him to head to the barracks and set up his new living arrangements. Though upon arriving his first words uttered where "I am so lost!". There was no way way this could be the Squad 11 Barracks. The Squad 11 who for generations had brutal members. The same squad 11 he was warned about in the academy. THE Squad 11 that would gut him for using kido. Surely they wouldnt have such a nice place to live. Though he had another thought. Not everything is as they seem. Truth be told that was the way he lived his life. He took a step into the lobby of the building, rubbed his eyes a few times and...."What is going on here!?" It was beautiful. Nothing dark, or dirty, or anything out of the ordinary. Maybe somehow Squad 11 became a real Squad. Instead of a squad of hormone crazed cannon fodder it has become something respected.

Arriving at the barracks the new captain looked around, as she did she was met with mostly cold glares hidden behind polite gestures. It wasn't surprising as they had been trained and lived with the former captain their whole careers, then suddenly he's killed and a woman takes his place. Who wouldn't be pissed off by that? However that was no way for a division to work, she needed to change the atmosphere of this place. Taking a deep breath she stood at the gates, "11th division get your asses here right NOW!" Yelling a loud command she'd wait until they gathered in ranks before her. Nanashi would then walk in front of them, pacing back and forth. "If any of you maggots have a problem with me taking over this division speak now. We will fight and I'll give you a chance to take my head." At these words the Kenpachi would fall silent to see if any took her up on the offer.

Still aw struck at the glory that was the Squad 11 Barracks, Raika suddenly heard someone yelling just a small distance away from him. His first thought was "Who the hell is that?" Studying her quickly and listening to what she was saying he couldnt help but feel that something was off. Most of the people around him stared at her with uneasiness in their eyes. Some even grabbing their swords. "Wait just a second!"
He shouted preparing to scold those who would challenge the new captain.
"How dare you even think about attacking her! She holds the title of captain! Therefore she immediately earns my trust and loyalty. The same should go for you!" He said with a strong stern voice. Those looking back at him narrowed their eyes. Some remembering his match with the former captain, Others wanting to attack him as well. However he walked over to the new captain, staring her in the eyes for a moment before bowing in respect.

Some of the division looked ready to take her up on her offer until a single man stepped up. He spoke of her deserves their respect just for being captain. While this seemed to help the atmosphere it did bum Nanashi's hope to fight. Oh well at least this maggot seemed to know his place. This was further shown as he bowed to her before her.
Looking down ad the bowing man she smirked, "what is your name and rank maggot?" As the woman spoke her gaze would shift to each member of the division before returning to the brave maggot. He could be fun to fight with, his spunk by speaking out against the division was interesting.

The term maggot rung in his ears. He couldnt help but twitch at her calling him a maggot. As if he was still in the academy. However he brushed it off as her being new to the position and didnt know anything else to say. "I am Raika Suzuko. I am new to the squad and therefore hold no rank as of yet."
He looked up at her and smirked.
"Though I think I still rank higher then a maggot Mad'm."

There it was the bravado she was looking for, no rank yet he had the courage to claim higher. If he felt he was higher then a maggot he'd have to prove it, because as far as she was concerned no one present was worth anything. "So you claim to be higher than a maggot? Well then prove it boy," Nanashi's right hand would be upon her blade in an instant.
No sooner had she touched the blade then it left its saya, though she was just drawing her blade the upward speed and strength of the act would easily kill Raika if he didn't move or block. Though the shinigami before her was new, Nanashi could tell from his spiritual pressure he was stronger then most of the maggots here. The question was how much stronger; it was that question she wanted answered. However unlike her predecessor, the new Kenpachi didn't believe in playing with her food.

He could see the movement. One of the skills he had that kept him alive against the former captain. Her hand moving towards her sword made him instinctively step back. His own blade was held near his chest. For a short blade he easily drew it to block the captains own pressure.
"As expected of a Kenpachi. Eager to battle. Though shouldnt someone new to the position show some restraint? What would the other captains say seeing you attack an unranked officer?"

Nanashi couldn't help but let a sadistic smile adorn her face, " they'd say nothing. I'm free to test my subordinates as I please. That's the right of any captain, maggot." She was sure to put more efficiency on the last word having seen his distain for the name. Raika Suzuko, what an interesting maggot, his knife made the Kenpachi sure he had something up his sleeve. There was no way someone with just a knife like that would be here otherwise, maybe the 2nd division.
Watching him closely she noticed he kept his blade close to his chest in a defensive position, which made sense as shorter blade were best for defense. Walking towards her opponent Nanashi would bring her blade down in a strike aimed from his left shoulder to his right hip. The strike would be followed up by a horizontal slash aimed to hit across the chest; both strikes were simple but moving at high speeds with enough power to put Raika in the 4th's ICU.

"A captain has a right to test, not abuse! With that kind of mindset you'd..."
He was cut off by her attack. He quickly moved his blade as a small flame followed it.
"Spread your wings! Liten Drakou!"
The flame bursted into thick lines that guarded Raikas body. The raw power from the attacks pushed him back but the injuries were non existent. The flames started to fade as he raised his blade.
"As I was saying, With that kind of Mindset you'd be moreso a killer then a captain. No better then a hollow feeding on its own kind."
He slashed the blade twice creating a cross formation. It was replicated in flames protecting him like a shield.
" Like it? My zanpakutou Liten Drakou produces fire that guards from any physical attacks. The only down side is that I cant attack while its guarding me. This is Controlled Flame Guard. Just one of two forms my zanpakutou takes on."

As her blade was met with blue fire, Nanashi just smiled. The boy, having moved up from maggot, didn't seem to agree with her testing methods, calling her hollow like. However his words fell on deaf ears, Nanashi wasn't trying to kill him, yet. "You need to try harder, if your only power is defense you'll never succeed." The Kenpachi's sadistic smile would widen just a bit as she brought her sword back atop her right shoulder.
"Hit me, that's an order. You are to hit me with your strongest attack, boy." Nanashi stood there wide open, from what she'd seen his defense was seated level. Yet until she saw his strength he'd still be just a boy to her.

Standing there confused from the action that was just taken.
"H-Hit you? Man you really are insane. Defiantly worthy of the Kenpachi title I guess. Never the less an order is an order...Even a bad one."
Taking a step back, he placed his hand along the back of his blade. Closing his eyes trying to concentrate better. The blue fire forced outward along the blade extending its reach. His eyes shot open as he charged forward.
" Get ready! Controlled flame strike!!!"
He stopped far enough for the flames to reach the captain, however nothing touched her. The flame had vanished with him standing there dumb founded. His short blade pointing at her but nothing making contacted.
".....Oh you have got to be kidding me. Come on Liten! Stop being a Lazy dragon and work!... Are you listening to me? Helloooooo. Liten Drakou. Being made a fool of out here. Kinda need your help...Dont you yawn while Im talking to you! Hey!"
Standing there in front of the new captain of Squad 11, Raika Suzuko, Being made a fool by his own power. The people standing around started to sniker and laugh, some pointing at what was happening.

Though the boy's attack had failed, the Kenpachi had not let the initial power behind it go unnoticed. Due to her skill at reading spiritual energy she had gotten a good feel for his power. While he was clearly 5th seat possibly 4th seat level, with his current control she wouldn't acknowledge his true strength. Replacing her blade to its saya the woman cleared her throat. " Boy your now the 6th seat of the 11th division. Come see me once you've gotten control of that blade and I'll play with you again."
With that said the new captain would drop to the floor in a sitting postion, as she awaited anyone else of interest. However from the earlier show of courage she doubted anyone else would entertain her.

"You....You want me as a seated officer?"
The rest of the squad was just as surprised as he was at the announcement. The men all roared with a simultaneous "What!?"

The captain met the division's confusion with a loud almost evil laugh. "I told you maggots I was testing the boy. Its your own damn fault if you thought otherwise." Had any here seen her battle with the third kenpachi they'd know the abilities she'd shown here were nothing compared to when she wanted to kill.
Turning her attention to the boy and his question she just sighed shaking her head. "I'll only repeat myself this once, yes your a seated officer now. Your better than the bottom ten so seat 11-20 would've been a joke. Yet your control sucks so the top three sports are beyond you. Therefore your the 6th seat, but if you can't understand that maybe I'll lower you to 9th for stupidity." Nanashi may come off as a brute, but when she chooses to show her reasoning that image is often shaken make people wonder what is she really up to.
