It was a rather relaxing morning. Riley had gotten to sleep in, it was her day off. She'd gotten out of her bed, still in her pajamas, taken a shower, and come back, and was now relaxing with a DS in her hand, obviously all dressed, hair up, nails done. Harlem was backseat playing the game with her, telling her everything to do, as it was his request to get the game. It only seemed fair.
Her door was left propped open. Nobody usually came in though. She didn't have many friends. But that's okay. All she needed was Harlem. Little baby Harley. She smiled, and continued playing her game, leaned back against a pillow, and crossing her feet.

Rex had a day of exploring, really. Trying to learn the place he was calling home. He found people saying hello, but no one really wanting to stop and talk to him. Sighing a little, Rex munched on some cornbread from the cafeteria, realizing he could make better, but oh well, it wasn't that bad, honestly. Chewing thoughtfully he wandered into the dorms and stopped once he realized he didn't know where he was.
"...Oops..." He looked at the room numbers and realized that... he was going in the wrong direction. Frowning, the tanned twenty year old turned on his heel and wandered down the hall again, spurs clinking behind him. He was by no means a silent walker when he wasn't trying.
Something stopped him, however, and that was a randomly opened door. Interesting. Peeking in the room from the hall (he was nosy OK?) he realized he couldn't see much. Well, better start making friends, maybe. He licked the crumbs off his lips, dusted is hands on his coat and then knocked on the door frame.

She heard the guy mumble down the hallway. Someone was lost... She rolled her eyes and continued playing her game. Well, Harlem's.That is, until the cowboy-esque guy knocked on her door frame. Riley jumped out of her skin and dropped her 3DS, and heard it clatter on the ground.
"God damn it. Please don't be broken..." She said, reaching over to pick it up before acknowledging the guy. She snatched it off the ground. The screen had cracked.
Harlem whimpered. Hush.
Riley turned her attention to the tanned redhead. "Can I help you?"

"Yo! Uh.. Hope I'm not bothering you? I'm just... a little turned around and bored. So I'm looking for B67 and I'm not sure exactly which direction I should be going? Uh. Your door was open, so I peeked in." He just gave Riley a grin, trying to be flashy and charming for her, batting his eyelashes to get the full effect. Did he break her 3DS? He peeked at it and then bit down on his lip. Well, Rex couldn't actually afford to replace it, but he could offer anyway. "Er.. Let me restart. Hi, I'm Rex Marskley and I'm lost. If... I made you crack or break your screen I could replace it? ...Slowly, or pay you back by doing favors or something. Like cleaning your room or... Uuuh that's weird. Anyway I'm lost. Hi." Wow, Rex, way to blow this meeting. She was probably forever going to hate him now.
