Amelie is shy, kind and sometimes lonely. She hates night time because thats when she feels alone the most, her grandmother was never very kind to her so she is weary of people who are nice. She had a hard time adjusting to friends at first because she was told no one would ever except her, but eventually she came to love her new friends at Hogwarts. When Amelie is at Hogwarts she is fun loving and sweet, but when she is home she is quiet and sad, she thinks of Hogwarts as her home and hates to leave it. Amelie loves being in Ravenclaw because she has always loved books because she could escape to other places, she works hard on everything she does. Amelie joined the choir because she remembered her mother always loved to hear her sing, she became the main singer of the choir and she has never been happier. Amelie noticed Seamus when he was showing his friends something he has just learned and it blew up in his face, she giggled and thought he was cute. She offered him her handkerchief to wipe his face off then smiled and ran away, she really wanted to talk with him but her shyness got the better of her.

- ♦♦Amelie grew up sheltered and alone, her grandmother kept her under lock and key. Her mother was muggle and her father was a wizard, they met because her father was lost on the subway in New York and her mother took pity on him and helped him out it was love at first sight. Sadly her parents were killed mysteriously when she was three and was forced to live her her matures mom, her grandmother hated Amelie father she blamed him for her daughter's death she also blamed Amelie in a way. As she grew her grandmother told her how evil magic was and how she should be blessed that her grandmother had taken her in since Amelie was filled with so much sin, her grandmother was very religious. Amelie attended muggle schools where she made very little friends because she was told she was not good enough and filled with sin, she never believed that to be true even though she suffered. On the she received her letter to Hogwarts her grandmother fainted and refused to allow her to go, letter after letter came and her grandmother told her to go but not to come back. She went and had the time of her life, when she had to go back her grandmother let her only because Dumbledore told her to but she ignored Amelie unless she felt like yelling and that was all the time.
