Proto had returned from his little outing in a horrible mood. Sure, his arm was fixed and his memories were no longer scrambled. Problem with that was the memories of the past were currently quite fresh and it had done nothing but make him irritable. He had left his father's place in one piece, but now that he was at the Tower he felt the need to punch the hell out of something.

...First though he had dropped his new supply of E-pops off in Bass' room. Hopefully the other bot wouldn't eat the entire supply before he could get back up there and tell him just what they were. And, you know, get some for himself.

After a quick trip to his own room to grab his shield, Proto made his way to the training area. There he'd be able to find a good training dummy..and then proceed to bash the ever loving hell out of it until some of this rage was gone out of his system.

It did very little to help things overall, but damn if it didn't feel nice to just kick the s**t out of something right now.

Having a magnetic personality had it's drawbacks. Being restricted to certain floors in Wily's grand tower, having a lower level room, and constantly having issues in the robo wash were a few. Although the fact that the personality also came with an actual computer disrupting magnetic field could have something to do with it.

Despite his room being much nearer the ground floor, Magnet hung out on the upper unrestricted levels as often as possible. Earlier, he'd ventured up to the training room, hoping to catch one of the other masters in the mood to spar. Finding no one there, he decided to hang around and wait for someone to show up. Maybe he'd even ambush them! That could be fun! He'd used a magnetic field to float up and stick to the ceiling, then sat back to wait.

A noise below jolted Magnet from his sleep. He hadn't even realized he nodded off. Alert now, he peered at the floor below to see who had just come in. A grin split his maw beneath the mask. Protoman! Now this was going to be fun! Waiting till the audio had fully entered the room, he dropped down behind his general. "Well it's about time someone showed up."

Proto had not been expecting anyone in the training area. So, when a voice suddenly sounded behind him his immediate reaction was to whip around and send his fist straight into the other's face.

It was, perhaps, quite a rude reaction but he was in a bad mood and Magnet simply was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Magnet's eyes widened a second before Proto's fist connected with his face. Stumbling back, he cast a glare at the general and rubbed his masked jaw. Well he wanted a tussle, it looked like he was going to get it. With an annoyed flick of his tail at having the drop gotten on him rather than the other way around, he launched his own swing at his companion's face.

Oh please Magnet, that punch was weak. Growling, Proto easily dodged it and swung his fist into Magnet's face for a second time. In addition to that he shoved his shield right into Magnet's chest.

Take that, you magnet-headed a*****e.

Magnet moved to dodge the fist but was thrown off balance as the shield shoved him back into the line of fire. "URK!" Shaking off the second blow, the bot snarled, tired of this little game. He was done playing fair. His eyes locked on Proto's shield, a smile slowly forming beneath his mask. Calling on his abilities, he sent out a blast barely visible to the naked eye. The air warped slightly as the wave struck the general's shield, magnetizing it. This was about to get very entertaining.

Well Magnet, -you- were the one that started this. Proto was going to be perfectly content just wailing on training dummies before you showed up. Clearly this whole 'game' was your fault.

The general had moved to bash at Magnet again with his shield...but as Magnet's invisible blast hit it Proto found the shield rather -stuck- in place. In fact...it was more stuck than usual.

Growling, Proto moved his other arm up to try and dislodge the shield. ...All that resulted in was -both- his arms being fully stuck against his chest as the shield magneted itself to him.

Well s**t.

Magnet let out a loud bark of laughter. "Looks like your shield finds you very attractive eh, Proto?" Laughing again at his own joke, he gave the general and his shield a hard kick towards the wall. It was so considerate of the construction workers who made this tower to give it a metal skeleton.

He had been in the middle of snarling out orders to release him. Unfortunately, Magnet's kick interrupted his threats and the General found himself stumbling backwards.

With a loud THUNK he was full trapped against the wall, arms still useless in their position under his shield.

"MAGNET! You will release me AT ONCE."

Proto was back to snarling, struggling to shove his shield off of him. The damn thing just wouldn't budge!

Magnet yawned and sauntered over to lean on the wall next to the struggling general. "Hmm....naaah. Not feeling it right now, herr general. You know it's kind of lonely way down there on the fifth floor, I don't get to have these little chats often. Perhaps if my room was a bit closer to the top...." he trailed off, casting a meaningful glance at Proto.

"You want a different room, go talk to Wily. You want to keep -functioning- long enough to talk to Wily...you'll let me go right now."

Blue ears pinned back in annoyance as he continued to snarl at Magnetman. The NERVE of this -idiot- to make demands of his general. -After- sticking him to a wall.

Proto was going to kill him. Or at least damage him pretty heavily.

Magnet seemed to ponder Proto's polite request a moment before shoving off the wall. "You know, I just remembered somewhere I have to be. Let's chat about this later, hmm?" Maybe the general would be a little more willing to negotiate when he was running low on energy. A few hours of struggling should do the trick.

WHAT?!?!

"Magnet, get back here RIGHT. NOW."
Oh the general was pissed. He was putting all his strength into shoving against that shield, and he even got it to move a bit! ...Unfortunately it simply reattached itself (and him) to thew all in a matter of seconds.

Proto wasn't going anywhere. It'd be a few hours of yelling, snarling, and struggling for him.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 11, 2014 5:35 am

Ignoring his general's pleas, Magnet strutted from the room. Even if someone set Proto free in his absence, he'd made his point. Maybe next time he asked for a room up top, the general would think twice about his answer.

A few hours later, Magnet stopped by the training room once more. Since Proto hadn't hunted him down yet, he was curious to see if his captive was still there. The robot master strolled back into the room carrying two e-tank cans. Spotting the general still doing his best impression of a turtle, he couldn't help but grin. "Looks like some masters are slacking on their training, eh?"

Proto was starting to get tired. Really tired. It had already been a long and traumatic day without this whole being stuck to the wall thing. And now, after spending a few hours trying to get free to no avail? Oh yeah, he was wearing down quick.

Curse his flawed core.

When Magnet first walked in, he'd find a rather tired looking general. Ears and tail drooping, he had stopped his struggles for the moment. ...As soon as Magnet spoke however he began his struggles anew.

"I don't see YOU training either. Now. RELEASE ME."
Oh yeah, he was still pissed.
