Flashover was FURIOUS.

Rumors were circulating that Proto hadn't been killed in that attack after all. What. in. the. <********>. A rocket to the face wasn't enough to kill blasted Hope?! Quite honestly, it was ridiculous, and he hadn't believed them at first. But the more sightings that surfaced the more thought he had to put into the fact that Wily's generals were -both- still functioning.

This was not something he would stand for.

In a rage, Flashover had gone about disabling every robot he came across. From the occasional sniper to the multitude of drones that kept the inner city streets clean. Not a single damn one was spared. Their broken bodies were heaped into an old warehouse.

Why?

As a big blaring sign that he was -done- playing around. The robots would all have tracking devices to keep them in line with Wily's perfect City. Suddenly, dozens of those tracking devices were piling on top of each other and....not moving again.

Surely someone would notice and come to check it out? And whoever it was, he'd go after them too. He would just keep doing this until he took down the army.

Unlike Hope, he wasn't stupid enough to knock on the army's door. No, he'd draw them out. Bring them to him.

He was up and running around again and he was pissed.

The lumbering Bass had been the one that got sent out to figure out what was happening to the bots, but he knew. Oh, he knew and it was going to be so much fun killing Flashover with his bare hands. He was going to wring that neck until the life went out of his eyes and then he was going to bring the body back to the Tower and make a pretty spectacle of it. That's what he was going to do.

If his eyes changed color they would be glowing red.

With his cloak pulled around him to cover his body, Bass stalked towards the majority of the bodies in the city and growled. This was probably a trap, but Proto was in no condition to help. Like hell he was going to let someone else kill the a*****e.

No, that was his pleasure and his alone.

"Flashover, you stupid creature..." he growled to himself, fingers twitching around a couple of hand grenades he had under his cloak.

He would force them down the other male's throat and take so much joy in watching it explode.

A trap? Is that what you would call a sizable pile of busted up bots? Why, Flashover liked to think of it as a sign. A big middle finger to Wily and everyone who supported him. It was but a matter of time before Flashover finished his work, dismantling Wily's oppressive rule and returning this City to it's rightful rulers, the Citizens.

For now he'd settle on killing bots.

Flashover had been up on a catwalk, looking down on the pile that laid in the middle of the warehouse. It was but a fraction of what Wily had to command, but it was a good start...

And oh look, it had already drawn in a curious bot! Excellent, his plan was working.

Unfortunately he was -not- expecting it to be General Bass that showed up. More advanced snipers, perhaps, or maybe one of the lower Robot Masters. But god damn Bass?! What the hell was this nonsense?

...No matter, instead of starting at the bottom and working his way up, he'd just cut the head off the beast. Now it was time to greet his visitor. A couple of smoke bombs should do the trick! Wouldn't get quite the choking effect that you got with flesh and blood, but with a little luck it could clog up sensors. He'd just toss em on down there and stay up here on the catwalk to see how things went.

You know, smoke bombs were a good idea had he not been wearing a mask and cloak. He could have breathed it in and it would have caused a lot of problems. Instead, he just stood there, squinting as he tried to see through the stupid smoke to see where Flashover was. That Audio was not getting out of this alive.

Well, it wouldn't have affected him had he been at 100%. He was not not yet, so the smoke was causing some minor hiccups in senses. Mainly he couldn't see anything, God dammit. He coughed a few times and then waved one hand in front of his face to clear the air. It was a futile attempts, so he just started walking through it.

"Come on, Flashover, handle this like a man instead of a girl. Fight me! You're going to pay for what you did."

"And what, exactly, is it that you are so very upset about? Surely you aren't angry that I'm cleaning up your ranks. Why, what use to an army are weak robots that can't hold their own against one Citizen?"

Flashover was stalking around up on the catwalk, looking for his next projectile.

"Or is it perhaps another you are angry about? A certain -weak- general that I also managed to take out?"

He was pinging small rocks down at Bass now. Nothing -dangerous-. Just something to further annoy the bot.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 10, 2014 4:22 pm

He was already seeing red. Looking at the projection of the rocks, Bass let out a hard growl and jumped up and grabbed part of the cat walk before pulling a grenade out with his free hand, pulled the pin and threw it up towards Flashover. He let go and managed to roll as he hit the ground and he skidded back. Looking up, he snarled and waited.

"Weak my a**. That was a b***h move and you know it. Fight like a coward and you will die like one."

Yeah, he was pretty pissed. Not because of the snipers or other bots, but because of his injuries. ....And maybe Proto's yeah, but Flashover wouldn't know.

"Weak? Yes, using your own weapons against you is terribly weak. I suppose I should go after you unarmed, much like the rest of the Citizens?"

Um...well s**t. That grenade was a problem. Growling the cloaked Audio jumped from his perch, hitting a ladder and scrambling his way down and -out- of the blast radius

Stupid damn grenades.

Fortunately he had planned for higher leveled robots eventually showing up, and had stashed a bunch of weapons he had gleaned from the fallen snipers. Snatching up a high powered riffle, Flashover whirled around to start shooting rounds at Wily's General.

"Ambushing is weak!"

He didn't have any room to be talking, but whatever. He was pissed Flashover didn't get blown up. Growling hard, he shifted to jump up on that catwalk again and grabbed it where he could. Huffing, he hauled himself up and then looked to the ladder before grunting and going to scramble up that ladder too.

"Get back here you piece of s**t!"

Then he helped when he was being shot at and just tried to dodge out of the way. A few bullets hit him, arms, legs, sides, but he grunted, grabbing more of his grenades and threw them in that direction. "Just ******** die!"

"I think I'd prefer if YOU would just ******** die."

s**t, this was getting more and more dangerous as it went on. Flashover frowned and continued his path. Up further and further into the warehouse's system of catwalks. Keep throwing your damned grenades Bass, Flashover didn't plan on standing still long enough for one of them to get him. Though they were doing quite a job on taking out parts of the catwalk itself.

...That could prove to be a problem at some point.

Flashover scrambled off a piece of catwalk just as it gave way and went crashing to the ground. HA, stupid Bass. You were just making it harder to pursue him. Not that the cloaked Audio particularly -wanted- Bass pursuing him.

The next thing that went flying back towards Bass was a particularly nasty concoction. A grenade of sorts of Flashover's own design, on impact it released an extremely flammable gel. The gel coated the victim and well...

Then it was quite hard to get it and the fire off of you.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 11, 2014 1:39 pm

And he didn't see that coming.

No really, he didn't. Smoke from his own grenades was making it hard to keep up with the stupid Flashover's movements so when that concoction hit him and coated him in gel and fire, Bass let out a hard scream and just raged forward for Flashover.

He wasn't screaming words, oh no. He couldn't form words to his rage. He was glad he didn't have pain circuits because this would be really uncomfortable. He reached behind him and unhooked his own high powered rifle from his back and just fired in Flashover's direction. Honestly, it was going to take more than fire to stop the robotic general. Maybe if he got close enough he could set Flashover on fire!

Still, the synthetic fur was melting and he could feel wires and parts starting to melt and spark in him. Not exactly.. comfortable.

Oh Bass, Flashover just wasn't going to let you get that close to him. See, you were made of -metal-, and he was made of flesh. It wasn't a good idea to get very close to a murderous robot. No, not at all.

To keep things confusing Flashover dropped a couple more smoke bombs, before very -quietly- making his way down a side path. The idea? Why, keep Bass thinking he was in front of him, to the point that he would -hopefully- go rampaging through that smoke cloud.

And right off the other end of the catwalk.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 11, 2014 1:57 pm

He let out a metallic scream as he chased through the smoke clouds, firing absolutely blindly.

Rage plus smoke and fire equaled Bass's brain not firing on all cylinders. He wanted blood on his hands. Sure, this might have started because of what happened to Proto, but Bass was really annoyed with the flesh bag and wanted him to stop moving. Death would make him stop moving! Or maybe just a snapped spine. He could make Flashover a vegetable right? Then used as a punching bag.

A psychotic laugh escaped him as he charged through the smoke and then realized that there was nothing under his foot. Before he could twist himself around and grab the cat walk, or what was left of it, Bass was falling and flailing, trying to scramble to find something to hold onto.

The way Bass landed, plus the fire covering him, eating away at his parts, both of his legs broke off and one of his arms. Headfins of his helmet melted off and he just screeched loud and pained. He couldn't go after Flashover like this. He couldn't move.

Hook. Line. Sucker. Not such a high and mighty robot anymore were you, General Bass? As the other screeched his way to the ground below, Flashover just let out a barking laugh.

Now to decide..go down there and finish the job, or just let the fire finish eating away at him? Surely his parts couldn't hold out -forever- against that gel...

"It seems that I've won this round General."
Flashover was moving towards and uppe window, grinning the whole time.
"It is a shame you won't see the rest of my plan in action. I have quite a good one, you see. I'm going to hunt down your co-general and string him up for the whole damned City to see. Send the whole army after me, they'll fall. And once that's finished, I'll end him for good this time. This City will be free, and all you filthy robots will be dismantled."

For now though, it was time to get out of there.
"Enjoy the fire, General. I don't believe you will have to suffer through it much longer."
With that he was gone, scarf whipping behind him as he exited through a window.

Bass just laid there, reaching for Flashover, or where he thought he was and cursed at him loud and long. Anyone within close distance would hear him. How? How could he lose? He was a robot. He was a general! He was stronger and faster than Flashover!

Making a fist, he just slammed it down to the ground below him and screamed wordlessly, his voice cracking and metallic as the fire worked through circuits and wires.

This was going to be the end of him, wasn't it?

He didn't accomplish anything and this was offline for him. His arm wouldn't even move anymore. s**t. He needed .....to find another bot around to put out the fire.

Instead, Bass just closed his eyes and listened, while he could, to the sounds of fire.

Maybe someone would see smoke and come find him.

--------

Reports told him that Bass went out by himself, looking into all the snipers and patrol bots going offline. With a sigh, the Robot Master wandered out in that direction, only to hear multiple explosions, what sounded like a loud thud and someone screeching.

Then there was more fire that was rapidly changing colors. Well.

"Not good."

Crash ran as fast as he could to see Bass on the ground, broken, literally, and still on fire. There seemed to be some sort of gel? s**t, really? His eyes flashed as he neared the fallen General and literally started digging up whatever he could to cover the flames, to smother them and that gel.

It wasn't easy, the fire kept trying to restart and he kept putting it out however. He managed to gather the general up and what parts he could find and carried him back to the tower, to Wily's tables. Wily had to fix him, right? It was his job.

"Proto's going to lose his s**t, Bass, I hope you're ready for that...."
