 Ash floated around in the Ocean, enjoying the sun on his belly, making it warm and toasty. He drifted where the currents took him... and waited for the birds to land so he can talk to them. He saw one circling in the sky and stuck his hoof up in the air, giving the gull a place to land. They contemplated each other thoughtfully for a minute, Ash munching on a bit of seaweed before swallowing and saying "Hey there bird, any news?" He knew the bird would not speak back, but he hoped maybe one day, he would find a bird friend that could talk. Really any friend that could talk. Most mers turned away from him, he was so Blinding white, they could not stand to look at him without temporarily hurting their eyes, as the sun GLEAMED off his skin. It bothered him a little, but not to much, because there was nothing he could do about it. He was as he was, and trying to fight it just lead to disaster.

RP of Sharingan Spud's Noleani Nolenai slowly moved through out the mazes of seaweed among the ocean floor staring above ever so often to see if anything interesting might be about. Giving up on the seaweed he swam toward the top. He needed to find something to make this adventure worth his time. Maybe he should of woke his brother before he left, at least then he would have someone to hang out with.
He kept swimming upwards toward the sun, which seemed extremely bright today. As he got closer to the service the shine seemed blinding and he closed his eyes swimming faster waiting for that moment he would break the surface and feel the warmth. Sadly it never came and instead he smashed head first into something hard and let out a gasp of pain. "Ah!"

Ash felt something collide HARD with his back... his seagull friend flew away with a start! Quickly and carefully, Ashutosh rolled over to find... a green mer... like him, only green... but... a mer!
"you ok dude?" he asked looking at the poor thing. "It's not easy to whack ones head on anything... much less my back... "
He paused, waiting to hear from the fellow flipper, hoping he was not injured to badly.

Noleani shook his head and looked over the 'object' he had smashed into. "Oh my, forgive me. I thought I was heading toward the sunlight. Though I did think it was a bit to bright." Nolei squinted his eyes as he looked him over. He blinked a few times before a slight blush touched his cheeks. This Mer was stunning. So pure white like the froth of a wave he had once watched sparkling in the moonlight. "Sorry for hitting you." He said timidly. Now this could be the something he was looking for to make this day worth while.

Ash watched the mer squint... and a slight blush rose to his cheeks..
he thought about diving... this always happens... he meets someone .. and they are blinded by him.
"sorry... I'm really... white" he frowned and blushed again, " I've tried rolling in mud, but the water... washes it away..." he trailed off looking at his hooves.
He started to sink a little lower in the water, "it's... ok, you didn't hurt me... I'm more worried about you, you hit me pretty hard!... i hope... you are ok" he sank even LOWER in the water... where just his head was above the surface.
Should he dive? that would seem rude he thought....

Nolei swam closer to him then and shook his head making his hair flow around him. "Oh no don't be sorry. I find it mesmerizingly beautiful. As for the hit. Beside a bit of a headache i think i am okay. Just dizzy." He chuckled and smiled at him swimming closely around him now not taking his eyes off him even though the bright sun on his skin was so bright he didn't want to look away.

Ash watched as the mer drifted closer, mesmerized by the drifting hair... a piece came close to him and with out thinking, he took a bite. Quickly he dropped it and dove into the water... he was unsure of this new "friend", who seemed to LIKE his skin. Most swam away, or the land leggers walked away... with spots in their eyes, this one didn't care... in fact... seemed enthralled by it. Ash was not sure what to do...
Quickly he came back to his senses and turned around, swimming back Towards the green finned friend...

Nolei let out a little squeak sound when he felt a tug on his hair. He frowned though when the other seemed to run away. He debated going after him but just as he was about to move he started to come back. Nolei hurried then to his side again. "Why did you do that?"

Ash blushed shamefully "I wanted to see if it tasted like seaweed"... he swam around the new mer, trying to figure out what to do next... he was not used to anyone hanging out with him this long, "my name is Ash, well Ashutosh actually, but most just call me Ash, because... well... I'm really white... "...
He floated in front of the other pony ... contemplating why he continued to stick around.... what this other mer broken in some way...
"who are you? and do you have friends?"

He laughed then and shook his head. "No, I meant swim away. The hair didn't bother me, I get it caught on tons of things." He smiled then and moved close to him his eyes were starting to adjust to the brightness and hurt less. "So tell me Ash, did it taste like seaweed?" He laughed again and moved back a little, he really couldn't look over this male while that close and he was just to in love with the pureness of his skin not to gawk. "I am Noleani, Nolei for short. As for friends, I guess my brother counts, but besides him your the first one I met in these waters besides the occasional crab or fish. What about yourself?"

I'm to bright, they swim away... or walk away... because they ... their eyes hurt looking at me in the sun. I mostly talk to birds they do not swim, er... fly away"

Nolei listened and then shook his head. "Well you are bright thats for sure. However I think it's one of your most charming features. I can't seem to look away let alone swim away." He stopped then and floated in spot smiling at Ash for awhile before taking up circling around him again. "Anyhow my brother and I just moved into the area actually so I don't really know many others. I was going to say you could introduce us but my brother is MIA. Hey you can at least show me around though and then I could show Neri. What you say Ash?"

Ash looked confused,
"there is not to much to see... this is the ocean... it's big... "
he thought for a few minutes.... Puzzling as Nolei floated around him...
"there are caves under... but there are dangers too! Giant Octopus, sharks... this red coral that HURTS when you touch it.... "

He chuckled. "Yes that's true but see those things seem interesting to me. I mean unless you can suggest something else to do." He stopped then and waited listening to see if Ash had something to suggest for them to do besides float here.

Ash looked concerned... he poked Nolei... "you want to die?"
He shrugged and Floated a bit thinking...
"you hungry?... I'm hungry... lets get some food... then... we can die... can't kill ourselves on an empty stomach... "
