Here's a picture of the pebble when I first got it. It seems to like chirping a lot.. Maybe it thinks it's a bird?

Zephyr seems to be quite bright for her age. She was able to form a complete sentence shortly after emerging from her pebble - though that may have been a fluke as she hasn't spoken in a complete sentence since. Still, she grasps speech quite well for one her age, and she's intelligent enough to have a basic grasp of how to work electronics.
She also seems to enjoy making noise. She prefers sharp percussion or low resonating sounds over high pitched tones.
More to come as she grows.

On August 18, 2004 I recieved my pebble.
On August 19, 2004 my son, Cyrus, nearly ate the pebble. The crisis was averted and laughed about later.
On August 22, 2004 Zephyr emerged from her pebble.

Jiora Jennifer Taltian
Jiora fills the role of Zephyr's mother. She can be strict, but it's all done in love. As a rule, she'd generally rather laid back and easy-going. She has very few friends though - if any - despite being a generally likeable person. This can be attributed to her tendency to avoid social contact when possible. She tends to keep to herself where her children and pets aren't involved, and would most likely become a recluse if she didn't have them around.
However, it's best not to let that sweet smile of hers fool you. Despite her physical weakness, this petite woman is a force to be reckoned with should she percieve a threat of any sort to her children. Jaclyn can attest to that fact.
Cyrus Joeseph Taltian
This adoreable little tyke is Zephyr's older brother, Cyrus. He's quiet and reserved, much like his mother. He seems to have a fascination with water, whereas Jiora is intrigued by fire. His thoughts on Zephyr aren't known just yet as she's only just emerged - though he did try to eat her pebble when Jiora first recieved it..
Jaclyn Chrissa Flame
A newcomer to the Taltian home, Jaclyn only arrived in Gaia a few months ago. She's an old friend of Jiora's from earth and stumbled across her during one of the mother's trips to a nearby park and followed her home. The reception she got upon greeting Jiora for the first time in years was not as warm as would be expected for friends as old as they are.
Despite the obvious disharmony between the pair, she is now residing in one of the guest rooms. It's assumed she'll act as an honorary aunt to Cyrus and Zephyr.
