Edel entered the hallway, unsure of what to expect next. The room held no immediate surprises, though the broken images of malformed shapes around her were rather unsettling.
Something beckoned to her at the end of the hallway.
The frost demon approached cautiously, arming herself with a pair of ice daggers as she neared the place.
It was just an empty picture frame.
The ghoul took a step back, and began to wonder. She looked around her at the malformed shapes once again and began to wonder if they had something to do with that.
Piece the puzzle together, perhaps?

And like that, Ever stepped out of the last room and into the final, secret place, a little breathless, looking up and around. Somewhere strange and uncomfortable, with strange shapes that made his head hurt -- and, in front of him, a girl. A girl who looked familiar; a blue girl who'd tried to trap him and who, now, made his eyebrows knit. "I know you." He said it quietly, Amory coming to his own hand, a sharp stiletto that had taken her life in a dream. Maybe she would remember, and he shifted to protect himself immediately, unsure if he was ready to take a monster on one-on-one.

The ghoul spun around, daggers raised as she registered the threat of the hunter.
... It was strange how he sounded a bit like that talking skeletal dog.
"No, I don't," she replied, observing the hunter keenly. Enrique had mentioned something about hunter coats and what they told about their capabilities, though it didn't register clearly.
"I'd rather we'd not fight," she spoke calmly, lowering her daggers but not her guard. "You lot seem to have bigger problems at hand."

"I think I'm doing pretty ******** well, thank you very much." He scowled at her, still holding on to his weapon, chin tipped up -- but Ever also didn't lunge. He didn't attack. He stayed a careful distance away, circling around her instead of toward her, to explore the rest of the corridor and see what, exactly, he could find.
((OOC NOTE: crap, was just informed dinner is now, not in half an hour. @.@ I'll be back in an hour or two, play around me plz!))

Edel rolled her eyes, thinking to herself that this one was definitely another of those rookies. The frost demon attempted to form an ice barrier around her, but somehow found it incredibly taxing. She wouldn't let her difficulty show though, as she turned back to observe the empty frame.
A single hunter wasn't a huge threat, though there would be a problem if more of them started to arrive. She would admit to being a little worried if this were to happen.
... Where was Shun.
The ghoul moved away from the frame and began to observe the broken images, trying to piece them back together visually. There were no obvious instructions in this room, which puzzled her quite a bit.

Well, he wasn't Shun but Lock was the next best thing. When he saw Edel and a hunter, he immediately summoned a shadowy blob to his side in a defensive position. The thing was pretty much the most pathetic creation ever, but Lock was a tiny baby snot and it was the best he could do on the fly.
"Who's he." It was a demand, not a question.

Just like that, Shun had arrived. The reaper rubbed his head gingerly as he finally managed to get away from those blasted rooms. The hunger had finally subsided. There didn't seem to be much in this room in particular, though he did take note of two individuals. One was Edel, the other was notably a hunter. One he didn't know but a hunter nonetheless.
The air seemed tense, though that wasn't particularly surprising. With a narrowed eye, he called his daggers to his hands as a safe guard. He didn't intend on fighting. Not this time. They had other things to deal with as far as he was concerned. But he still didn't trust the hunters, especially one he couldn't identify.
"A hunter. That's about all you need to know."

It was just about time that Shun had arrived, along with another reaper she did not know. The numbers were in their favour. That was good.
"Take a look at this," she motioned to the two to look at the frame. She cast a wary glance at Ever, re-evaluating his threat. He didn't seem too dangerous, but she'd keep an eye on him for now.

Shun moved over towards Edel, but made sure that he didn't turn his back to the hunter. Tilting his head, he looked over the picture frame. He attempted to remove the frame to see if there's something behind it.

Lock shifted eyes from Shun to the hunter. If Shun deemed they were okay to do some searching, he'd do the same.
Lock examined the images malformed shapes along the hallway for anything out of place.

Ever approached the rest of them slowly, just a bit shaky: and understandably so. He was, it seemed the only hunter in a room full of monsters, and from everything he'd heard, they were...well. The enemy. The enemy who outnumbered him three to one at the moment.
And so he'd keep his mouth shut, wisely, blinking at the picture frame, and reaching out carefully to touch it -- just to see what would happen.
