The other Machinists truly believe (as she lets them) that Saint Clara founded The Machinist Order to help advance and protect humanity. While that is true, in her heart Saint Clara simply enjoys gaining and using power simply to gain and use more power; enough is never enough. She wants to become stronger both personally and through her organization so she can hurt and force her will upon others for her own amusement. However, she is smart enough to know not to let on to the other Machinists that this is the case and in front of them she acts and talks as if she's all about protecting humanity from all other beings.

Bio: 236 years ago Saint Clara grew up with the name "Clair". Her childhood was not normal, but not because of any external factors. Although Saint Clara was born into a loving family as the younger sibling of one brother, it was apparent something was wrong with her from an early age. Clair often suffered from sudden and unprovoked fits of rage directed at anyone and everyone around her. Although her parents did their best to manage and hide her psychotic episodes, they only got worse as she got older. When sane, Clair was extremely cunning and completely lacked empathy for others which was a deadly combination. She became very promiscuous as she grew older and often used her body to get the older, stronger boys to do what she wanted up to and including threatening, hurting and extorting others that were too strong for her to confront personally. Sometimes she would have a goal in doing this and sometimes she would do it just for fun.
This wasn’t to say that she wasn’t willing to hurt others herself or challenge and defeat those that a girl her age shouldn’t have been able to overcome. Her sheer viciousness, aggressiveness and willingness to immediately go to extremes often caught other normal people off-guard, quickly giving her the upper hand. This continues to be the case even to this day.
Clair’s world completely changed at age 17 when one day one of her psychotic episodes went too far. In an argument with her family Clair suddenly grabbed a kitchen knife and murdered them in their own home. Clair couldn’t even remember what the argument was about but it was nothing big. Even Clair was surprised to find that this didn’t bother her one bit except for the fact that now she would have to change her entire lifestyle and leave her home to go somewhere the authorities couldn’t find her. So she did. She took whatever she needed from her home and left to lose herself in a major city. When Clair arrived at the new city, she took the name “Clara” and quickly used her cunning and body to find a place to stay. Of course, none of this changed her thirst for power and control one bit. As she continued to survive and slowly work her way up in the city, she realized something that she would eventually use to change her life and the world forever: she discovered how much suffering and oppression normal humans went through at the hands of other more powerful beings, and how fed up humans were with it. Clara immediately realized she could use this to her advantage in a big way.
It didn’t take long for Clara to find plenty of humans who were angry and willing to fight back. With her charisma and cunning, it didn’t take long for her to convince them that there was a way they COULD fight back…and win. Clara quickly begin gathering members and support as she founded a small underground organization to use terrorism, kidnapping and assassination to fight back against the other beings. This was the beginning of The Machinist Order. It was slow going at first and Clara had little success with many casualties, but each small victory she won earned her more and more support from regular humans. There were many attempts made on her life but somehow none of them succeeded. Eventually Clara found support amongst a small group of brilliant scientists who specialized in human genetic and cybernetic enhancement. Once again Clara saw a great opportunity and took it, immediately accepting them into the fold and focusing them on finding ways to augment humans in a way that would make them able to stand up to other beings. Like the fight, the process of augmentation was slow going and had few successes and many losses of life but that didn’t deter Clara in the slightest.
As the scientists exhausted theory after theory, they became more and more willing to try less and less ethical methods to find a breakthrough. It was during this time that augmentation was discovered. Augmentation is the process of artificially removing souls from defeated beings of any kind and breaking them down into a liquid solution that is injected into normal humans. After multiple injections, the human will began to develop a kind of artificial wavelength that begins to immunize the human against the wavelength of the being whose wavelength they’ve been injected with. Overtime, they also develop a kind of counter-wavelength that is extremely effective against the same being. The only problem with this process is that the human body can only hold so much wavelength at any given time and so humans must choose how much of which kind of counter-wavelength they want injected before their body reaches its limit.

As The Machinist Order continued to grow its members became more and more Human Supremacist in their thinking, something that Saint Clara was happy to foster: members blinded by hate were easy to manipulate. Now that Saint Clara’s Machinist Order is a massive, powerful organization, Saint Clara has her eyes on her next and perhaps last major prize: breaking down and injecting herself with the Grim Reaper’s soul and augmenting herself with it. If she succeeds in doing so, she will gain power far beyond the comprehension of mankind.

Each of these weapons are infused with the power to make any bullets they shoot extremely effective against any kind of being with weaknesses against none. In addition, these pistols are capable of continuous automatic fire if the triggers are held down. They produce no recoil so Saint Clara’s aim is not thrown off no matter how long she holds down the trigger. Saint Clara is extremely proficient with these weapons and almost never misses.

Time’s up!” Saint Clair’s left eye has the ability to send out a wavelength that slows down someone’s nervous system to the point that time seems to stop for them and they are unable to move or talk. Time doesn’t actually stop, it just appears to the victim that it has. Saint Clara uses this ability when she wants to do something to someone without them being able to resist. This attack is an auto-hit as long as Saint Clara can make eye contact with her victim. This ability lasts as long as Saint Clara wants it to. This ability must be activated and doesn’t just happen every time Saint Clara makes eye contact with someone. This ability can only affect one person at a time. If she attempts to do it on a second person, the first person will return to normal. Once frozen, Saint Clara can unfreeze the victim at any time she wants. She usually calls out the name of this ability when she uses it, but she doesn’t have to.
-3. Royal Welcome: Although she looks slight and slender, Saint Clara’s physical prowess is immense due to her augmentations. She can attack faster than the eye can see, hit harder enough to break concrete and block even attacks that would break through the defenses of the strongest demon. When Royal Welcome is in use, every 3rd physical attack Saint Clara makes against an opponent is an auto-hit. This ability lasts for 6 posts with a 3 post cool-down.
-4. Hymn of Submission: Although Saint Clara may not seem like it, she has a hauntingly beautiful singing voice and loved to sing from an early age. Now with her augmentations, Saint Clara has put this talent to a whole new use. With this ability, Saint Clara begins to sing the lines from one of her favorite songs, slowly and melodically. As she finishes each line, new effects come into play:

An explosive blast of energy blows everyone backwards several yards, friend or foe.
Hollow heroes separate as they run…
Another blast of energy erupts, causing enemies’ vision to blur and to lose their balance.

Countless strands of barbed wire erupt from the ground, entangling the enemy as they cut them to bits and drag them to the ground.

-5. A Grand Entrance: Using augmentations in her dress, Saint Clara slowly sink through the ground or through walls. She can only do this if there is a room below/on the other side. She often uses this to escape enemies or surprise them.
-6. Taste of Royalty: Saint Clara’s perfume is for more than just smelling good. Anyone who gets close enough to her, tastes the perfume on her breath, can become confused and disoriented. They’ll forget what they’re doing and why they’re there, temporarily enraptured with Saint Clara. This lasts for one of the victim’s posts. This ability is an auto-hit if the victim is within five feet of Saint Clara when she uses it. Once this is used, it can’t be used again for four posts.

If Saint Clara comes into physical contact with someone, she can bend their mind to her will, forcing them to follow her commands. No matter what she tells them to do, they MUST do it. This lasts for 3 posts and the recharge is six posts. While under the sway of Saint Clara, the victim’s eyes turn bright red. The only exception to Saint Clara’s commands is that the victim can resist any order commanding them to take their own life.
Personality: Saint Clara was never normal and to this day her psychopathic tendencies remain in force. She enjoys using her power, cunning and sexuality to hurt and use others, though age has helped her to control her hobbies to an extent. She is generally able to restrict herself to times when it is convenient to do those things and she is usually able to avoid losing it on people who are still useful to her, though sometimes her two bodyguards/aides can be the targets of her random episodes of psychotic rage. They each put up with it for their own reasons. Saint Clara is incredibly cunning and intelligent. She enjoys using her sexuality to seduce and intimidate others and those who displease her. Often someone who’s failed her will be charmed into thinking they won’t be punished before Saint Clara executes them on the spot.
If Saint Clara had one major weakness, it would be her mental instability. When things start falling apart and her plans don’t go her way, she begins to descend into madness. During this time and during her random psychotic episodes she will often talk aloud to herself, physically attack others, blame others for mistakes they never actually made and even physically hurt her own self. When she’s in this state, even the slightest mistake or wrong move by one of her subordinates can cause her to kill them without warning. When Saint Clara is sane, she often acts arrogant, ruthless and generally doesn’t care if her actions and words hurt those around her. Overall she acts fairly carefree and is privately slightly amused by the plans those around her have for themselves and others.
