Aoi had finally reached Lady Dea's lands. It's not much farther to where Harmony lives, she told herself in her head. Maybe Lady Dea will let me rest here for a bit before making that final stretch? It was questionable, since Lady Dea's bonded did not know her very well, if at all. She had heard from Harmony that they could be very... protective. "Maybe I shouldn't risk it...." she said aloud, considering making the final stretch to where Harmony was without giving herself the rest she probably needed.

The rustle of hooves through the grass nearby roused Epsilon out of a doze. He yawned and shook his head, ears flopping against his head for a moment, then he blinked through the shadows of his hiding place to see what had made the noise. His ears perked up upon being greeted by the sight of a lovely pale mare. Oh, very lovely indeed! Carefully he stood up, and moved himself closer to her path so she would walk just past him without noticing him, then he spoke. " Risk what, lady o?"

Aoi started when she heard a voice near her, then turned to see a yellow Azrein with a multi-colored mane standing near her. Curses, someone heard me, she thought, but relaxed her muscles, keeping from looking too startled. She'd had to deal with this sort of surprise in the south when she had been down there, so she had grown quite used to having to adjust herself in the moment. "Why, I didn't want to risk imposing on Lady Dea, of course. I was considering asking to stay for a little bit to rest before continuing traveling, is all," she responded, slightly surprised at herself for her wit returning to her. She hadn't been able to respond easily and honestly like this since before she traveled down to the south, and even then it had been a bit of a struggle for her. I guess I needed to be shocked out of my lapse, she thought, fighting back a grin.

" You need to ask? The lands are open to those who mean no harm. I would assume you fall under that category, given your use of the Lady's title. There is no risk." Laconically he stretched, keeping his eyes on her, smiling to show his good intentions. He hadn't missed the frisson of shock that ran through her when he popped up, though he had to admit she covered it well. " Where are you heading? Is it far from here?"

Aoi thought for a moment. No risk? Wait.... She remembered that Harmony knew Concerto Dubarra and his brother, Rhapsody. They had a tendency, whether it was one or the other, to bring out... well, not the normal side of people. She held back a sigh, then turned her attention to his question. Hesitantly, she told him. "I am headed towards where my friend lives. It is not far from here; however, I am certain she does not want many others to know of her location. She prefers isolation, you see," she responded with an even tone, trying to hide that she wasn't supposed to say anything about Harmony. As long as she didn't mention her name, Aoi was sure that there wouldn't be a problem.
