"Thank you for accompanying me, Mr. Waits and um ... Miss Shaheen, Miss Bee." She was still a little afraid of the war horsewoman, but she knew that Shaheen was a good person!
She summoned her feathery, flowery bow and look at the others sort of awkwardly. "Um ... sh-shall we go forward?"
Ying wanted to ask the others how they felt about Medea and all this, but it seemed the incorrect time. Maybe later.

Bee cast an unimpressed side-eyed glance at the conquestian horseman, summoning her own dagger and began trekking forward. Based on their previous encounter, that horsewoman wasn't going to be of much use anyway. Admittedly, she was feeling a little weak and tired from all the lost wandering, but that wasn't going to stop her from proving herself as an excellent warrior of her clan.

Waits for the most part said nothing, except maybe a crisp rattle and click from the back of his throat that could have been interpreted as a response. He just sort of cast a gaze at the others, one by one, sizing them each up and pondering how this was going to play out; two of War, one of Conquest and him, of Famine. How little he had actually interacted with those outside of his clan, how interesting this could be to observe and participate in (well, maybe. Urg, activity).
His weapon remained unsummoned though, his hands still lost in the many layers of his torn sleeves as he followed with the group.

Shaheen had not intended to find herself in this little rag tag group. Bee, certainly she felt comfortable with, but Ying, who in the past had made her support of Death quite well known? The war chieftain had little to say to the small woman of conquest, here only to do whatever work was necessary, and then move on to whatever was next.
As for the one from famine....she knew nothing about what she assumed was a him.
It was hard to tell with them sometimes.
Still, she could be cordial under the circumstances. Despite their opposing paths, they were all still horsemen, and there would be situations where they needed each other's help.
"Yes. Let's." She didn't smile, but she didn't snarl either, her face a smooth mask that hid her emotions as she spread her wings and took to the air, flying above for a better vantage point.

Ying stuck very close to Waits, finding herself very at home with the famine horseman. For whatever reason, she seemed to feel pulled towards famine types (Salbei, Kiwi ...)
"Um ... so how are you all today ..." Thusfar, everything was sand, sand and more sand. Might as well have some conversation.
She didn't see any monsters yet. But again. Endless sand. If there was one, it wasn't going to be hard to spot.

Bee watched Shaheen take flight into the skies and followed suit, scouring the desert from the opposite direction. There was nothing to be spotted from up above, and as much as she hated to admit it, flying was currently taking too much out of her.
The horsewoman landed back on ground the and continued the search on foot, leaving the pair to their conversation.

The sound of Shaheen's wings beating against the open air brought him to look her way and watch as she took to flight and observed her patterns until his attentions turned back to the ground and the long stretches of beautiful sand. Mostly because it seemed the small Ying had decided to linger close to him. Odd. And she was trying to make conversation, small talk. "Nothing particularly different from when we encountered each other earlier." He told her. Though, he had found his brother, that had been something. And that tower...
And now apparently something new. The tall alchemist stopped in his tracks as the sands beneath his skeletal feet began to shift unnaturally and a few ants began to scurry in the depths of his clothes as if in a panic. His glowing eyes turned to his right, the cause of commotion it seemed as the grains of sand seemed to pull towards one particular spot until it just burst upward like a geyser to release what had been hidden below.
A gigantic flightless cricket looking creature, ashy in color with the feint glow of yellow in its eyes. Despite its lack of wings, it still managed to produce a deep hissing sound from its appendages; making it evident it was not pleased to see them at all.
Waits actually found it rather beautiful looking.

She was momentarily glad for some company in the air, finding it comforting, reminding her of days long past when she had been a part of a team of warriors, who's aerial combat skills had been, in her opinion, unmatched by any other. But the other woman soon took back to the sand, leaving the cheiftain alone, though she did not hover far away.
The wind whistling in her ears made it nearly impossible to hear any chatter, but soon it did not really matter. A large creature had spewed forth from the sand, sending Shaheen reeling in the air as a sudden eruptive force struck her in the chest.
Spitting out sand, she righted herself in the air, and then summoned her weapons. One appeared to her hand in the natural way of all horseman weapons, her short sword with a notched blade fitting comfortably in her hand.
The other, however, appeared in a coalesce of fog and glimmering distortion gems, the blade itself long and giving off wisps of fog.
She had earned this weapon by fighting monsters like these, and now she would quite happily use it against them.
Diving down through the air with a smirk on her lips, golden curls streaming behind her in the wind, Shaheen struck by digging both blades into the Titan near its neck,before wrenching both blades free and falling back.

Ying yelped as the cricket appeared, very much not ready for the jump scare that lurked beneath the dunes. When it surfaced, she looked to the sky, and sure enough Shaheen was already hurtling down. She would never cease to be impressed by the woman's battle prowess!!
"Oh!" Ying exclaimed, pulling up her own bow. Right! She had to help too!
Of course, she didn't create nearly as much Carnage as Ms. Shaheen, but she gave it her best effort. Ying wasn't very comfortable with killing, but insanity creatures were a different breed of creature. They didn't seem to want to be friends or to do anyone any kindnesses.
She only hoped they were doing the right thing by eliminating them.

Something quite huge and terrible had emerged from the sand, and for a minute Bee thought it might have just been one of famine's strange pets. Shaheen's reaction said otherwise, and the smaller war horsewoman watched in awe as her kinsman struck a splendid blow on the creature.
The mare dug her heels in the sand and launched herself at the gigantic insect, only to be repelled by the sudden sweeping motion of its antennae. Bee scowled at being denied her attack, spreading her wings and taking to the air to prepare for aerial combat.

Waits didn't actually want to fight it, but okay ._.
Well, at least he missed - though it had hit him with one of its antenna, ouch. He could appreciate at least the fluidity that it moved with its large body, being able to get out of his way. But, then again it wasn't like he was trying very hard.
If only he could keep that thing.

With her insanity sword used up, it faded away back to nothing more then fog, which actually seemed to just join that which wisped off of Shaheen's wings. Her own eyes glowing a golden the same intensity as the titans, she continued to fly around it, sword held at the ready, searching for her opening.
Diving in with a short battle cry, she slashed her sword at one of the insanity creatures leg joints, pitting steel against its tough hide.
This time, she had trouble actually digging her blade in, though she tried, before the leg lifted and batted her away.

Arrows continued to fly. Ying wasn't experienced with accurate shots, but she just got as many arrows flying as she could. That was her style- her brother was the one with style and accuracy.
Ying hesitated as Waits seemed to take interest in the bug. Her arrows had already flown, but should she perhaps hault her fire in the interest of a friend? "Friend, is there something troubling you?" Ying was very willing to desist, Waits only need say the word.

She was experienced in battle, but fighting a creature as such was something new. There was something... unnatural about its grey colouration and glowing eyes, though the horsewoman couldn't quite seem to be able to put a finger on it.
Home.
Bee shook her head, trying to concentrate. The war horsewoman launched herself at the creature, aiming for its head, only to have her dagger barely scratching the hard, chitinous surface.
The mare drew back from it, scanning the insect intently. Where were the weak spots on it....

Though there wasn't really any doubt that those of the female gender lacked the ability to fight, Waits still had to say he was impressed by their prowess. Their aim, vigor and bloodthirst - especially that one of War who seemed to favor the airborne attacks. It wasn't something in his nature truly but he still joined them; this could be a study maybe.
And at this rate, perhaps he would be able to take at least a little something from the creature when it was disposed of. Maybe? "Just a shame." He replied to the small Ying, "I really do enjoy insects." If it wasn't evident enough with the few that were skittering about his persons.
He shifted his stance in the uneven earth beneath him and threw up an arm, finally releasing his weapon towards large insect that had the misfortune of delving into insanity. The rope dart flew true, swinging about in an elegant arc around one of the large appendages until it tightened enough for him to give the rope a slight tug. In its weakened state - thanks to the others - he managed to cause it to crash into the sands.
There was little fight left in it.hp: 34/40 damage: 7 titan hp: 6/40
