Personality: Amdir is rather laid-back, and while he is no pacifist, he would prefer to avoid combat if possible when on his adventures. Though he's a wanderer, he has no real problem with forging friendships or at least acquaintances with other beings, and tends to get along well with most people due to his patient disposition; he's rather open to the idea of having companions on his travels, but is sensible enough to attempt to dissuade those he feels could get injured or killed.
Aspirations: To see all of what Middle-Earth can offer.
Strengths: Amdir's travels have given him much conventional wisdom, and he has become a truly formidable fighter when he engages in combat. His adventurous spirit also makes him open to new things and willing to befriend new people.
Weakness: While Amdir is quite skilled as a Ranger, he is a mortal being and can be killed with sufficient external injury. He also does not appreciate his orders being disobeyed by those who do not know what they're doing when it comes to exploring Middle-Earth, though this is less out of a sense of superiority and more because he simply doesn't want to see others be killed.
Fears: While Amdir doesn't seem to fear death precisely, he is well aware that his lifestyle can lead to it at any time, and is rather protective of those that may accompany him as a result. One thing he does in fact dread is having to eventually choose between his Mannish or Elven heritage.

Weapons:
Dagor Êl: Amdir's blade was formerly his father's, but he took and kept the blade to honor his father. The sword was named "Battle Star" in Sindarin due to it shining brightly when reflecting the sun during battle, blinding those the user wields it against.

History: Amdir Lithur (also known as "Ashfire", his surname when translated by Men) is a half-elven wanderer, son of Éolas, a Ranger of the North, and Celeniel Lithur, an elf of Lothlórien, born in March of 2550. His birth was a result of the two engaging in a relationship after Éolas was injured within the Elven forest. While Amdir was growing up, his father sensed his adventurous spirit and trained him in the ways of the Rangers, but unfortunately this was cut short when Éolas was killed while he and Amdir fended off a pack of wargs on an expedition east of the Misty Mountains. Amdir survived, and returned to his mother with his father's sword and cloak.
For the next few years, at the behest of his mother, Amdir stayed within the forests of Lórien, though eventually he began to long for the ability to adventure like his father. Seeing this, Celeniel reluctantly allowed her son to leave the forests, and over the last few centuries Amdir has seen quite a bit of what the continent has to offer.
