 [ Quest 2: Scavenging Team: ] You are asked to search the tower ruins for any weapons tablets. - The tower ruins is a large, clay tower that seems to span still to the sky, crumbled for the most park and caked in a strange burnished substance. The outskirts of the tower is infinitely long, the inside is barricaded and you cannot enter. Around the outskirts you can see the remnants of a battle, and bloodstains that still look somewhat fresh . Occasionally a weapons tablet is poking out. - Create a PRP thread and title it [QUEST PRP ] Scavenging Team (PLAYER NAMES HERE). - Next, write your introduction posts to your team having gathered their wits and gotten ready to do the process. When you are ready, have your team start searching by rolling 1d10. There are lots of unusual shaped fossils to encounter, mostly blackened masses with mutated skulls, but none of them radiate Fear. If you roll a 10, you encounter a weapons tablet to bring back. When a 10 has been rolled 2 times your lime limit is up and you can head back. The quest is considered COMPLETED. Mark the title of the thread as so.

Two assignments into this mess and Finn was ready to call it quits and maybe take a half hour smoke break, but apparently his superiors had other ideas. The second he got back to the tent, goggles pulled off to reveal one empty and rather scarred eye socket hidden beneath, he was instantly singled out, called over, and assigned another small mission to set out on, this time with a hunter that he recognized only from the miss deus beauty pageant. Hard to forget a girl who put on a literal gun show for the audience. Especially one who had really shown off her assets. A+ winner in Finn's books, would happily watch again. He'd have to inquire about a private show later, however. For now, he was still trapped in hell. Licking dry lips hidden beneath his scarf, his face adorned with goggles once more, the moon intermediate looked up at the crumbling and burnished tower that loomed up above them. "Okay then sweetcheeks, Let's get this over with." He looked back down, and over to his assigned companion, before gesturing out to the expanse of blood stained and blackened bone filled sand stretched out around them.

Cee was finding that being a new trainee was not to her benefit. They literally grabbed her for some b***h work every chance they could get. She'd lost track of both of her previous groups (thankfully friends) but was now assigned a partner. He'd be alright, handsome even, without the gross looking eye thing. "Cee." She glanced up at him with a sweet smile, even in heels she was a tiny thing. "It's Cee. Unless yer goin by cyclops or some s**t. You got a name?"

"Oh great you're a ******** comedian." He drawled, his tone dry as he let his arm drop, taking her name and filing it away mentally in the probably will never use compartment. "Should I put my eye patch back on so you can get the pirate jokes out of your system too, darling, or would you like to get your surprisingly perky a** in gear instead?" He tilted his head to the side at that, blatantly giving her a once over with a goggle obscured gaze. Straightening back up, he gave his head a small shake, before turning to start trudging through the sand. "It's Finn." Looking at the ground, he began his search for the tablets that were meant to be here, while putting two and two together and wondering just how safe it was to be in this location.

"I ain't care bout the eye hole. Jus about manners. Only punchline here is this ******** job. Ain't nuttin surprisin bout a girl who keeps herself aight. Not my fault all these ratchet a** bitches on this island." She shot him another sweet smile, almost sickly so. His obvious show of rudeness left nothing to be hidden. Concetta knew exactly where she was with him, or so she thought. Cee did point to his eyes though, "Though it's pretty ******** rough. Wa'happened? Like.. issat before Deus or after?" She wasn't really looking so much as kicking at whatever this place used. Piles of scorched remains just became victims to her overpriced couture footwear. A skull was carelessly punted, clacking far ahead into some old crumbling pillar. "Oh!" Cee crouched to brush away the corners of a familiar square slab. She ignored the ping of realism as it hit her, that someone had died for this to be here. "Got one!"

Finn wasn't quite sure he understood half of what she just said, partially due to the sand whipping wind but mostly due to her butchered dialect. He caught the gist of it though, and smirked beneath his scarf. "After." He turned enough to look back at her, and paused when she found herself a tablet. Good. They might be finished with this quickly. Thinking about telling her how he actually lost his eye, he abruptly changed his mind, saying before he turned away again. "Freak d**k sucking accident." Roughly five seconds after the words left his mouth, he bent down and retrieved a tablet, half hidden by blood stained sand. "All right, we're done here. Good chat." He straightened back up, sliding the tablet into his pocket. iloveyouDIE ......that was fast good job team!

"Oh man yer just s**t at it then huh? HA." Deus was just rife with the gays. With tablet in hand she shrugged. "Good enough. No offense but you aint as interestin as you look. You need a better story."

"s**t darling, you're right. Maybe you could give me a private lesson, really show me how it's done." He pulled his scarf down so she could actually see his smirk, before rolling his eye at her comment. Not interesting enough. He could see the bait being dangled in front of his face, tempting him to say more, to actually attempt to impress this woman, and he was having a hard time deciding whether or not to just ignore ******** it. "The death lead poured acid on my face because I got too mouthy with him during a misconduct meeting. This was, of course, after he shot me a few times and used the same acid to burn holes across my ribs. Good ******** times." If there was any bitterness or hard feelings or anger, he didn't let it show.

Cee's grin grew as he propositioned her, like so many chauvinistics shits before him. It only amused her because her attention was a gift for any of them. She was on another plane of existence that they would be lucky to even visit. Finn's story made her bark a laugh though and she actually latched to his arm as if it were the most charming thing he'd said the whole trip. "Now that'sa good story, baby boy." Cee definitely made good arm candy, if nothing else. "Ain't the first one told me he shot'em either. I'mma Death newb so I'm just takin it all in." The walk back wasn't a long one but she would milk it. "How mouthy is too mouthy ezackly?"

Suddenly the woman was on his arm, and all Finn could do was raise an eyebrow at the quick change and think well that was easy, while fighting the urge to pull his arm away from her, feeling that she hadn't yet earned the right to assume such familiarity. "No, I have heard that it's not all that uncommon." He said in response to her statement, resolutely ignoring the 'baby boy' comment. At least she was hot, because at this point he was pretty sure that was all she had going for her. Trudging through the sand back the way they came, Finn's cold smile only widened at her question. How open with information did he really want to be? "Can't really say, Princess. It seems to vary from victim to victim. Transgressions can apparently range from looking at him the wrong way, to speaking out against his blatant hypocrisy, to shooting him in the a** with a tranquilizer gun."

She actually clicked her tongue in admonishment. Was she shaming them all? Anyone who'd been a victim of Caelius and his almight ego? {i]Probably. it may have been lack of experience or perhaps a superior sense of self. "Youse just don't know how ta deal wit egomaniacs I guess." She drifted away from his arm as if she were disappointing, some tier of humanity he just hadn't reached through his story. "Issa shame." Concetta winked at Finn and waggled her manicured nails. She was heading back into the throng of hunters looking for orders and she gave him an almost sympathetic look. There was something in her eyes that said it's such a shame or what a waste. "Look me up when we git back, soldier." She grinned. "Mebbe we can git you some physical therapy. HA!" For his disability.
