Having wandered away from Taima, Lock now found himself of more coffee brewing. One of those ghouls he knew was coming closer, with a boil he'd only seen in passing.

Wally had no idea what he was supposed to be doing. There was a lot of paperwork and writing going on this place and that was like.. secret identity stuff. The hero was only supposed to pretend to do this stuff.
He eyed the dirty machines skeptically and turned to a nearby boil and ghoul. "Do you guys know how to work this thing?"

Clara gave Lock an odd stare at the "oh no" he uttered as she was passing by. She shook her head at the other student there. Although she had used it before, she was sure she hadn't been using it correctly. But a line was starting to queue, and they had to get started or else there would be a lot of angry creeple yelling at them. She grabbed a mug in each hand and handed them to the two other students.

Lock just sat back in his chair. "No. I don't." That was only partially a lie. He HAD worked it before with Taima, but he had made a complete mess of things. So he was going to say no.
"Have either of you found out anything about this place?" Lock questioned. He cared much more about investigating than he did this smelly barista job.

Welp. He hadn't been given much direction, but the ghoul clearly wanted him to work. He floated over to the counter and took the first order. A cobweb... tea. Which he'd never tasted before, but he still offered a cheery "Good choice!" to the demon ordering.
As he floated back to the machine to mash ingredients and buttons, he gave a confused look to the boil. "I've got no idea what you're talking about." He gave the customer his coffee, and though the demon seemed very unsatisfied with it, Wally was looking at the reaper like he didn't hear the angry commotion behind him. "Are we supposed to be learning something here?"

The second customer's order was a slime tea. Looked like she wouldn't be using the machine after all. She carefully watched the ghost whale boil as he made a tea, hoping to learn from him how to make tea. Then, she poured half the container of slime into the cup and handed it to the customer. In response to his question, Clara couldn't help but think about how she was learning how NOT to make coffee.

Ichor milk? What the ******** was ichor milk even? Lock pointed the customer in one of the other twos' direction. There wasn't any way you could get him to make more drinks for people.
"You're supposed to learn why you're out here! You can't just be told you're an intern and do it!" Lock was so endlessly frustrated with this whole thing. RIP Lock's patience.
