[ Quest 2: Delivery! ] Quote: - Your next assignment is to deliver articles to Reapers waiting outside. You are to take one of the many portals directly there, but it is easy to get lost while out in the desert. - Next, write your introduction posts to your team having gathered their wits and gotten ready to do the process. When you are ready, have your team start searching by rolling 1d10. If you roll anything other than 1 or 10 your team wanders around lost until they have rolled a 1 or 10. They then find the person they are looking for and deliver the item (usually a long form for them to fill out). Do this 1 times per thread. The quest is then considered COMPLETED. Mark quest as finished! Total words: 945

Kenta cleaned up his mess in the kitchen and made sure to get the coffee machines as well. After moving one of the machines to where the reapers could get to it, he put in a pot and set next to it a stack of paper cups. He also left a bag of beans on the counter with a note attached saying "Just pour it into the top of the machine then hit the red button. Hot stuff will come out." It'd be straight coffee, but hey better than nothing right?

Leaving behind the bustling reapers and their coffee, he looked at his list. So I've just got to deliver this list here to a reaper? Sounds so easy, he sighed and shook his head, yet I have no clue where they'd be! To not get lost, he picked the farthest portal he could find and went through that. I'll just go through the portals in a circle: that way I don't enter someplace twice.
After asking around in this portal, and asking proper reapers (unlike that stupid girl with the butterflies) he left that area. Not this one, he sighed. It'd be too nice to have found this guy on the first try!

He dodged a guy carrying way too many books and papers and slithered between the tightly packed desks to the next portal. They don’t have a lot of space in here, glad I’m not a Reaper! I like spaces I can run through! And people who are chattier, he thought with a shake of his head. Look at all these hard workers! Heads down, scribbling away.. Yuck! Boring life that.

Entering the next portal he found more reapers, all busy, though this was a much more boisterous group. He smiled, sound of voices at last! He poked around, asking if anyone knew where a “Yven Lorest” was. No one did, or they knew but didn’t know the location. Oh well. He left that portal behind and came back to the Agency main building. Wonder what’s got these guys all stirred up? What sort of trouble is going on?

He made a face as the sounds went back to the rustling of paper and scratching of pen on paper; much more quiet and oppressive after the noise of the last area. Almost like a library in here! His least favorite place! Following the walls, he meandered through the busy people and down a hall to another portal. Beyond was a room filled with silence. A single reaper sat enthroned behind a huge desk, all around were tall shelves of scrolls and books. Ah, a library he though: I don’t envy this guy his job! But apparently some people like silence… His claws made a clacking noise as he walked across the tiles. “You know of a Yven Lorest? Got a delivery for him.” He asked, his voice echoing slightly in the silence. The reaper looked up and shook his head before going back to looking at a list in his hands.

Kenta shook his head and stalked out of the room and back into the Agency. Librarians! Was a no that hard to say? Muttering to himself he found that he was back in the main room… and most of the coffee beans were gone! So he restocked them, replaced the milk and syrup container that were also near empty before heading back down another hall to another portal. Beyond this was a room full of shouting reapers who turned to glare at him when he entered. “Yven Lorest in here? Got a delivery for him.” He said into the smoking silence.
“No, now get out!” Came the growled answer. He grinned cheekily and sauntered out. Anger was easy to deal with compared to silence!

Wandering back out he checked into a few more portals, each that were filled with more bustle and life than the main agency area. Maybe they want to look cool so they have a rule to show no hurry or noise in here? It’s not working if that’s the case. They look like ants that are scurrying around too afraid to speak up… But that could just be because they have too much work to actually take a break.

What is so darned important? And where is this guy I’m trying to find! He wondered as he stalked through yet more portals only to keep getting the same answer. Sheesh! They need to have a list of people beyond each portal! Like.. like a directory or something, Kenta groused.

He walked past the bathroom and decided he should go now before venturing and trying to find this guy some more. Nature called after all! And it’s not like I’m a real intern or getting paid for this…
He entered to hear, “Hey Yven, there’s a zombie wolf looking for you.” Spoken in a mocking tone: somebody was making fun of his new race! Kenta growled. Zombie wolf? He was no zombie wolf! And how dare that insolent fool try to make his fellow zombies into a in insult! At his snarl they turned around. He shoved the paper at one guy who had a name tag on. “Delivery for you. Fill it out and turn it in…. as for you!” He said as he shoved the offender into the wall. “Care to repeat that squishy one? Before I shart riping limbs off?”
“Hey hey!” Yven put a hand on Kent’s shoulder. “He didn’t mean anything by it.” Kenta’s one eye gleamed. “Then he shouldn’t say it if he doesn’t mean it. Don’t let me catch you alone…” He growled and stalked out. Idiots! The lot of them! Speaking like Undead were lesser than the rest of them! Like being a zombie was bad…
