“Well… this is unique.” He blinked and shook his head cautiously. “…I feel like this is more Riddler than anything else. Good to see you here though!” He grinned at her. “Couldn’t have asked for a better team mate for this little oddity. How’s it going Harl?” “Ready to um… place some daggers? I mean, this is… going to be interesting don’t you think?”

Five minutes later he was tapping her lightly on the head to wake her, noting that one of the Moon Division hunters was looking at them like there was nothing for them to do. Staggering out to the ruins she yawned. "I'm exhausted. Two dispatches, a search, now shield prep? Geez, you'd think there was nobody on the whole damned island who could do some work!"

“Would you like a piggy back?” He offered with a grin, only half teasing. “Maybe they figure you’re the best newbie out there?” He patted her arm gently. “You need to get more sleep after this is done, you know the offer to stand guard still stands right?” He patted her gently on the arm. “C’mon, you make like you’re working and I’ll do most of it okay?”

For a long minute she considered it but sighed. "Nah, you should probably save your strength in case they want you to go dispatch. There's some serious s**t out there." Pulling her goggles down the pair staggered out to where they needed to be. Almost immediately she found the place for the first dagger, pointing at the ground. "Drive it down in there, Jas." Leaning hard into him, because slugging Jasper in the shoulder would have been too much energy at this point, she pushed him off his stride for a minute. "Hey! No leaving me behind anyway. Unless it's at a tent. On a cot. Leave me there as often as possible please." Apparently the first dagger had been to bolster their spirits because, looking down at the map she'd been given, they weren't anywhere near the other two. "I hope we're not out here too long though. "I'll toss you over my shoulder without a second thought! What's more I'll tuck you under an arm if you kick!" He gave an exadurated wink drom behind his goggles.
"Also batmask is for lend if the sun gets too much for you! I'll sun burn on principal regardless... It's the irish word for 'tan."

Sizing the two of them up she wondered if he could even lift her under one arm like that. Carried fireman-style she didn't doubt it wasn't possible but still. "Maybe you'll tan one day. I'm blessed with heritage that makes sunburns almost impossible but I wish we'd gotten hats instead of goggles. Do you know how silly goggle tan lines look?" Peering over at Jasper, seeing his face, she let out a snort of laughter. "Well, you probably will soon enough." Stopping for a minute she peered at Jasper. "I know very well how silly goggle BURNS look, does that count? I'll look like an inverted raccoon for weeks! I suppose I could call it a built in hero mask, does that work?" He grinned, and then crouched to let her climb into his back as promised.
"All aboard the Batsy-express! This crazy train will be departing for our next stop shortly!"
When she was safe 'aboard' he set out again.
"Let me know if you feel 'slidey' or if I've sweated through the coat and you're disgusted beyond words ok?" He half laughed when he said it

Letting out a long yawn Cami didn't even bother to worry about propriety or personal space. She simply laid her head against her own shoulder and closed her eyes. "Mmm. Lemme know if you find one of the thingies we're supposed to be lookin' for, kay?" Her voice was slurring with sleepiness, accent thick, before she leaned forward to kiss his cheek. "Pffff, you're like… all tiny and adorable sized. It makes you a great hunter, you come off as way too cute to be dangerous and then BAM, shot right through by badass archer, archer-ess? Is there a PC way to phrase that?" He paused after planting the most recent dagger to consider the 'very' important question. "Anyhow! Yeah, you're like… light as a feather or near enough!" Jasper's comments had roused Cami back to consciousness enough to laugh. "Tiny and adorable? Maybe adorable." Tiny? No one had ever really thought to call her full-figured, 5'8, 150 pound body 'tiny'. Shu Lei was tiny. Maebe could even be quantified as tiny. Peyton was absolutely tiny which was deceptive and fantastic. Everyone would see Cami charging and know to get out of the damn way because she had weight behind her.
Looking up also had the added bonus of her spotting what should have been a healthy shield dagger doing...a whole ******** lot of nothing. "Hey, go left. I think I see something we should note down. But no, really, I'm not that tiny. And I'm not offended so there's no real need to be PC."

Rolling her eyes Cami pushed her goggles back more securely onto her face, trying to do the lookout thing a bit more seriously despite Jasper's assertions. She knew that she wasn't petite, tiny, and carrying her weight around the desert wasn't going to be easy. He'd end up with killer legs, though. Shimmying a little bit, the indication she was ready to be put down, the redhead stood still. "I think we're going the wrong way." 2/2 Daggers Placed
