Crew Assistants
- To help nurture the effort to realize this guild in its full unbridled glory, the SDRP is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to help with its backend. As such, today marks the day when SDRP will be accepting applications to SDRP's Crew Assistant Program! Those who become Crew Assistants will be the next step closer to becoming full-fledged SDRP Crew.
The purpose of the Crew Assistant (CA) experience is to give assistants a look at the back end of the SDRP so they can decide if being full crew is right for them. Because they do not have access to the guild mod tools, this is limited to mainly guild and event organization and planning.
What is a Crew Assistant?
Well, it's one step closer to full Crew but most importantly a Crew Assistant is someone willing to do the little things that make this guild great. Crew Assistants are highly dedicated, friendly, helpful, and active members we can all trust to get things done.
What sort of things?
Helping plan, run, and participate in guild events and projects
Running and playing in RPs within the guild
Keeping an eye on the guild forums and cleaning up where necessary
Providing support and interaction to guild members
Maintaining an active presence within the guild
Positively representing the SDRP
Crew Assistants will have the same responsibilities, just not the same guild forum privileges (buttons to edit posts, etc.) to further help achieve them yet. Crew Assistants may be eligible to be promoted to full Crew after a probationary period of a few months in which they fulfill their duties on a regular and consistent basis.
What Makes a Great Crew Assistant?
Here are some of the things we're looking for in our Crew Assistants (and all SDRP Support Crew too!):
Respect, patience, and the ability to work in a team
Passion and dedication to making the SDRP a better place
Willingness to take on challenges and the resilience to see them through
Note there is not a requirement to be a long standing member of the guild nor to be a skilled and experienced RPer. Those qualities are not necessary to be a helpful member of our Crew.
