Within it is the Shinshiro, a prison made entirely of Sekkiseki rock that drains the prisoners' Reiryoku and interferes with their ability to sense Reiatsu. The Shrine of Penitence overlooks the whole of Seireitei and is connected to the Sokyoku Hill by a long, narrow bridge.
