My pony is Philologia. Her name is a sideways reference to our somewhat related talents. Hers is research. She works in the Canterlot Historical Archives as a research librarian. Working there was a gateway to forming a friendship with Princess Luna, who is responsible for the charm-conditioned hair. It's a temporary fix to Philologia's issues getting her mane under her hat.
She is a unicorn, but can't perform any external magic due to her stunted horn. Instead, her magic channels into her eyes to help her find documents in the archives. When she looks for a document or bit of information, she will see a glow around the item. Her magic won't work for lost items though. The two of us loose things a lot.
