Dawn FrostbiteArriving at school early, Dawn approached her classroom. Just as she had expected, no one was there yet. Not even her teacher. Dawn was a bit of a nerd. A straight A honor student, rarely missing class, and never getting into any trouble. However, because of that, Dawn didn't really have any friends. She wasn't bullied, but no one took the time to talk to her, nor did anyone try to be friends with her. Dawn leaned back against the wall, sitting down on the floor as she looked up at the ceiling, deep in thought. This was her second year in high school, and still, she had no friends. Am I... really that unlikeable? Dawn thought as she stared up at the ceiling. Quietly, she dug out a Skip Beat! manga from her school bag, flipping it open to the first page to start reading it.

Ai Miyazaki  Ai groaned as his alarm blared an annoying noise. He wasn't particularly a morning person, but he did get up. After a few second's Ai turned his body and swung his legs off the side of the bed, then rubbed his eyes. His face staying monotone the whole time. It wasn't like he was depressed, nor was he bored, he just simply thought less of showing his emotions. This, in turn, made him somewhat popular with the ladies. After waking up a bit more, Ai stood, walked to his alarm and gently placed his pale hand to shut it off. "Hm?" Ai turned to his clothing that was neatly placed on his computer chair, then looked towards the clock, "Six fifty?" He sighed and got dressed, leaving his messy hair swept to one side. A few seconds later a knock was heard at his door, then a male opened, showing his bright happy face to Ai, "Ai-kun!" The brunet yelled. Ai simply shut the noisy being out, and started to comb his hair, "I can hear you. Please. Keep it down." His friend laughed, "But Ai-kun! You have a visitor." Unamused and unhappy, Ai kept his face down as a group of girl's entered behind the brunet, "Good morning Ai!" They spoke, respectfully remembering the last few times when they would scream and Ai would tell them to, none the less, shut up. His pale blue eyes swept over towards the girls. None of them interested him the least, "Good morning." After about twenty minutes, Ai and the females and his one brunet friend, walked to the school building. Some of the females grabbed Ai's arm, which in turn, made Ai pull back a little. He was used to this kind of attention by now, but he wasn't particularly happy about it. As the entered into the building, his friend ran in front of Ai with the biggest, most stupidest grin on his face. He just stood there, looking at Ai, "What." Ai asked in his usual voice. The brunet laughed and watched Ai, "Nothing nothing!" Then he quickly grabbed the ladies that clung to Ai, pulled them away, and told them to get to class before they where late. Ai walked past his friend, to his locker, and yawned. His friend showed up next to him, only to laugh and slap Ai's back, "Please stop. Your slaps hurt." After grabbing the essentials, Ai closed his locker and walked to his first period class. Ai was more of a school person then anything else. Not for the popularity that has been bestowed upon him, but for the education. He liked to learn, and most importantly, and something he would never admit to, he loved to sing. Once in his homeroom, Ai glanced around. As he thought, some of the students haven't filed in yet. His pale blue eyes fell onto a small petite female. Using his knowledge, Ai looked over her, "Dawn Frostbite. Straight A student, loves school. Apparently a manga addict. Simple to say in the other student terms.... Loser." He thought. A small smile curled onto his lips, but then faded as he sat behind her a desk separating them. He set his text book out, notebook, and pencil case. Sitting back, Ai looked at the female, completely consumed in her figure. He wanted to learn more about this female, but at the same time, he wanted to stay his distance. She seemed to have no friends, because if she did she would most likely hang out with them right now. As Ai was inspecting her, he was unaware of a certain brunet popping in and sitting next to him. (OOC: Sorry for the wait. Our internet is being screwy.)

Dawn Frostbite
OOC: It's okay. I can understand that.Dawn didn't notice anyone enter the classroom. She glanced up towards the clock, lightly gasping in surprise at how late it was already. She had been so caught up in the story of her manga that she just let time fly by. Dawn shoved her manga into her book bag that hung on the hook of her desk, only to catch a glimpse of a certain pair of shoes that she had come to recognize. Those are Ai Miyazaki's shoes... Why... Why is he here already? Dawn questioned mentally as she dug out her books from her desk. She leaned back in her seat, sitting up straight as she glanced out of the window, hoping that Ai wouldn't bother her. Or at the very least... wouldn't make fun of her. Oh gosh... what if he saw me reading manga? Then he'll know just how much of a nerd I am! I know how much nerds get picked on here at school... Am I going to get bullied, too?! she thought worriedly.

Ai Miyazaki The brunet glanced at the girl who was frantically putting things away and taking things out. Ai just stared at her, wondering why she was in such a hurry to put away something she was enjoying. After several moments passed by of awkward silence, the brunet couched and laughed, "Ai-kun!" Ai snapped his eyes to his friend, breaking the contact he had on the girl's body, "Keep your voice down." Ai commanded. His friend only laughed and shook his hand in front of his face, "Ai-kun! How about at lunch we go to this new cafe that's down the road." Ai just looked back at the girl, then at the clock and sighed sitting back into his chair, unamused, "With what happened last time, no. Plus I have to work on something for science." The brunet laughed and nudged Ai, "Why are you working so hard!? You're passing the class with the highest possible grade. I mean you even have twenty extra credit points." His friend sat back and watched him, "You should relax. It never killed anyone to relax Ai-kun" Ai shook his head, his body now sitting perfectly aligned with the seat and desk, "No." His friend sighed and pouted, "You look unattractive when you pout. Which could be the reason you have no girlfriend." Ai joked, even though his monotoned face and voice gave off the feeling of being serious, "But Ai-kun!" His friend begged. Ai's eyes scanned the room for any of the girls whom would freak out, then huffed out a silent breath of air, "I told you. I already have plans." "But Ai-kun!" Ai yawned and looked over at Dawn with an amused smirk, "I have new plans with Dawn. Isn't that right?" Ai asked, his eyes softening when he called out her name.

Dawn FrostbiteDawn jumped slightly when she heard her name being called out. She could hear the students of their homeroom entering the classroom, but she turned around slightly in her seat, glancing up at Ai almost timidly. She pointed to herself, a bit surprised. " You.. have plans with me?" Dawn asked timidly as she stared up at Ai. Dawn didn't know how to act around people, but Ai, of all people, wanting to spend time with her. Dawn gulped nervously as hshe began to worry. What if he's going to bully me..? Is he going to try to blackmail me to try to do his homework for him? Oh gosh... why me?!" Um.. Y-You must have me confused with someone else... right?" she asked, stammering nervously.

Ai Miyazaki As the female jumped, and Ai glancing around at the people whom started to flow inside the classroom, he shook his head, eyes still soft, "If I were confused about someone, I would not have spoken." Ai stood up, walked to Dawn and leaned down, "Of course we'd go somewhere privetly to talk. And I'm sure we'd be alone." Ai stood straight again, glanced towards his friend, completely awe shocked, then to the other's who had the same expression. Some of the girl's glaring at Dawn, "I'm sorry. I guess I've pulled you into a chaos of messes." His face lifted into an actual smirk before quickly fading again, "Don't think so grimly of me. I'm not like most people you would expect." Ai walked back to his seat as the bell rung, and all the students filled in. His friend leand down towards his ear, "Do you actually have something you need to do with her?" Ai turned his head and nodded, "Yes. I just now asked her." His friend stifled a small snicker, causing the teacher to look towards him and yell at him.

Dawn FrostbiteDawn could feel the room spin as Ai was talking to her. It was as though the words were going in one ear and out the other. She didn't know exactly what Ai would want to talk to her for, but deep down, she felt as though she had no choice but to go along with whatever he had planned. Lunch rolled around, and Dawn tucked her books into her desk. Like always, she had finished her homework in class, and had taken a fair amount of notes. As excepted from a straight A honor student. Dawn stood up from her seat, grabbing her book bag to head to the cafeteria to lunch. Dawn hoped that if she left the classroom quickly enough, Ai would just let her leave, or perhaps, forget about her completely. She started walking towards the classroom door, as though she was trying to forget about their confrontation earlier that morning. Just keep walking... Dawn thought to herself.

Ai Miyazaki Ai watched Dawn leave the room. He had also finished everything, but because he didn't want to hear the nagging of his friend, he stayed behind. After Dawn had left the room, the girl's walked up to Ai, looking rather displeased, "What was that whole conversation about with that loser." They demanded. Ai simply ignored them and continued to wait for his friend. A black haired female approached Ai, he cheeks puffed out like a squirrel, "Ai Miyazaki-" "That conversation has nothing to concern you. And please. Don't look so displeased." Ai stood, placing a pale hand onto the girl's face, glancing into her eyes, then standing straight again. The girl was a blushing, blubbering mess, then stormed out of the classroom with the group of girls behind her. His friend snickered, "You have a talent Ai-kun." Ai shook his head, eyes hardening as they walked out, "Are you finished yet?" Ai asked, but before he got an answer he was out the door. "The least you could do was wait for my answer Ai-kun." His friend pouted, watching as Ai left. Down towards the cafeteria, Ai heard several females bickering to one another about the weird behavior Ai has had. He sighed, "Female's." He thought. Soon the male reached the lunch room and glanced around. His pale blue eyes catching a certain female quickly retreating the area. Ai couldn't help but be amused. He strode over and tapped her shoulder with a light touch, "Avoiding me are you?" He asked, his monotoned voice close to her ear. His tall figure standing straight as he awaited the body to turn, "Would you like to come with me and eat some where else then at school?" Ai asked, his eyes soft.

Dawn FrostbiteSighing heavily as she walked out of the cafeteria with her book bag in hand, Dawn couldn't help but think if this was some sort of bullying. Soon, she felt warm breath tingling her ear, causing her cheeks to blush slightly as she turned around, seeing Ai standing near her. Dawn looked up at him, frowning a bit. " Um.. I'm fine with eating on the roof... Besides, I think those girls want to spend time with you. So, um.. you should spend time with them.. At least show some kind of kindness.." Dawn answered softly as she turned to leave. Her heart was pounding hard in her chest. She stopped, not even facing him. " I... I'm not even sure what you want with me, but those girls... They don't like that you're talking to me... So if this is some form of bullying, please stop..." she pleaded, her voice quivering a bit before she started walking down the hallway again.

Ai Miyazaki Before she could walk any further Ai snagged her hand and walked outside. Without saying a word they begun to walk farther and father away from the school. Taking turn after turn, Ai turned and found themselves at a small restaurant. He pulled her inside before she started protesting, and took a seat out for her, plopping her body into it, then pushing her in. He sat on the opposite side of her, then watched for her reaction. He didn't come off as mean, did he? Ai silently watched her, and before she could talk, Ai interrupted with a sigh and glanced down, breaking the eye contact, "No. This is not a form of bullying." He stated, mentioning to her plead, "I hate being crowed by those girl's. And besides." Ai looked up at her with a small tainted blush on his cheeks, "You don't cling onto me like they do. Before school and after school." Tilting his head to the side when the waitress came up. He only looked back at Dawn, "I'll have a lemonade." Was all he said the the female. She nodded and looked at Dawn awaiting her drink order.

Dawn FrostbiteDawn blinked in surprise as Ai expressed his emotions in front of her about the girls. She had no idea that he didn't enjoy being crowded by a swarm of girls. She always thought that most guys would love being surrounded by girls day in and day out at school. Dawn glanced up at the waitress, who waited for her order. " Um.. I-I'll just of raspberry iced tea..." Dawn ordered timidly. As the waitress left, Dawn looked back at Ai, still with a surprised look on her face, " So.. It's not a form of bullying? Then... Then why do you even want to talk to me? No one.. has ever wanted to talk to me before in school... Especially not someone so popular... People usually avoid me...." Dawn mumbled, leaning back in her seat as she gazed down at the table.

Ai Miyazaki "Didn't I just tell you the reason?" Ai asked, cocking his head towards the right to gaze at her, "Because you don't swarm me." A smile appeared on his face, and it stuck there, "You're too cute." He added, blushing slightly, "But the main reason for suddenly asking you here, was mainly because I couldn't handle Reiji right now." Ai looked down as the waitress came back with their drinks and left when Ai told them they needed more time. Ai stared at Dawn, "Finals are coming up soon." Ai added, leaning back in his seat, "And I have to keep up my studying. But with him around..." Ai sighed, "Anyway. I wanted to relax with someone who wouldn't be expecting it. But." Ai looked at her, then at the table, "If you would rather be alone, then that's understandable. Dawn Frostbite."

Dawn FrostbiteDawn felt her cheeks blush lightly at the compliment of being called cute. She tucked her hair behind her ear as she took a sip of her tea, looking off to the side. She let out a small sigh. " So, you just wanted to spend some time with a total outcast, like me, out of the goodness of your heart... But, what about after finals? When summer hits? what will happen then...? Will I... be tossed aside?" Dawn asked, looking off to the side, setting down her glass of tea. " Of course.. that's something I'm quite used to by now..."

Ai Miyazaki "Who said I was going to throw you away." He cleared his throat and sighed, "If that was my intention in the beginning, I wouldn't have talked to you in the first place." He smiled and snorted a laugh, then glanced at the waitress when she walked back up. Ai ordered a small salad and nothing more. Despite his figure, you'd think he would eat a little more then he ordered, but he watched his health like his life depended on it, which it did. Ai sighed and looked directly at Dawn, "If you want me to leave you alone from now on. Then tell me. But from what I can see you need friends."

Dawn Frostbite" Um... I-I'll have the same, please," Dawn ordered as she looked back at Ai. The waitress wrote down their orders and walked off. Dawn let out a small sigh of relief, knowing his true intentions, " So... You want to be my friend? That... That's actually really nice. I... I would like that." she admitted, smiling a bit, looking down at the table. She took another sip of her tea, blushing timidly. Dawn didn't want to admit it, but she was thankful that Ai was being kind to her. Her first real friend. She didn't want to show how excited she was by this. She wanted to keep her cool. Dawn glanced back up at Ai, setting her cup down. " Um... Well, I am clueless by how friends act, so... so what do friends do in these types of situations?" she asked curiously.
