Among other news being announced today, BBW.com is reporting that Dion Necurat, better known as "The Pillar of Justice" or "The Hardcore Paladin," has requested a leave of absence to take effect after Spring in the Ring. Sources close to Necurat say that his leave is due to a nagging shoulder injury that "he would like treated sooner rather than later." The projected time he will be away is 2-3 months, depending on the severity of the injury.

"I'm looking to get healthy, and I'd like to compete for as long as I am able," Dion said when initially contacted. "I know when I'm hurt and need to heal up, and now is as good a time as any."

Necurat's injury was due to an automotive accident 5 years ago before becoming an active in-ring competitor, and speculation is that the injury was worsened during the brutal encounter with Serenno King at Spring in the Ring. However, the leave was asked for prior to the event.

Dion has said he will make a formal announcement of his leave later today.
