Kyle is carefree to the point of being careless. He is rather lax in his duties, and often completely disregards safety and rules. He believes firmly in learning from experience rather than lectures. He is also very disorganized and loses his train of thought rapidly when he is explaining things. He's an indecisive type, and has a serious lack of direction that has gotten him in trouble numerous times in the past.
Kyle has a tendency to be what might be called an attention whore. He also has a tendency to be what might be called a regular whore as well. He's very flirtatious, and his focus is easily lost when he sees somebody attractive, regardless of gender or sexuality. Naturally, due to his noncommittal personality, any actual romantic involvement with him is short lived at best. He has a tendency to neglect or forget about the person who he is supposedly seeing, and usually breaks it off after two or three weeks at most. When he does give the person he's seeing attention, however, he is charming, romantic, and charismatic. The "ideal" man for some. In general, Kyle is very positive and resilient to heavy criticism or stress. It takes a lot to bring him down, and really the only thing that can upset him is talking about his mother.

EXORCIST CLASS: Middle Second Class

BASE OF OPERATIONS: True Cross Academy
MY HISTORY: Kyle was born into an exorcist family in Germany. His mother was a high ranking exorcist that operated in Germany, and though Kyle never knew his father, supposedly he had strong ties with the Order as well. Kyle was enrolled at in True Cross Academy at a very young age and, while he did enjoy attending school, he had a complete disregard for the work required and also frequently changed his mind as to whether or not he actually wanted to be an exorcist. On days he doubted his destiny, he would skip classes and wander aimlessly around the city looking for new places and people to meet. Even though what he was doing was innocent, rumors about him spread like wildfire around the school. The rumors began relatively innocent, things like "Kyle skips class because he wants attention," or "Kyle can't actually summon anything which is why he never comes to school," but gradually grew more detrimental as he got older. Once it was revealed that Kyle was bisexual, the rumors began to go out of control. "Kyle isn't really human; he's half Incubus." "When Kyle ditches class it's because he's really a prostitute." Even though Kyle tried his best to ignore the rumors, even he found it hard to be at school when he was constantly surrounded by glares and hushed whispers that the other students thought he didn't notice. Kyle's already poor attendance became even worse. He went from attending classes two or three times a week to once a week to once every two weeks to once a month. His attendance slowly declined until he completely stopped attending school for four months straight. At 15, Kyle was expelled from True Cross academy for poor attendance. Even with Kyle gone, the rumors about him continued, and even worsened with speculations on the reasons behind his expulsion.
Kyle's mother was unaware that Kyle would constantly be skipping classes until she received word that he'd been expelled. Kyle and his mother had always had a very tense relationship, and the news completely destroyed the fragments of a parental bond that remained between the two. Kyle's mother--a tamer like Kyle-- sent her two lightning spirit familiars on him. Kyle managed to escape with his life, but has two large scars--one on his right shoulder and one on his left calf-- as a result.
After he was kicked out of his house, Kyle went to live with his mother's sister, Mina Beyer. He changed his last name from "Horn" to "Beyer" and completely disassociated himself with his mother and former life. While Kyle still lacked direction and changed his mind frequently, he knew he had to find something to do with himself. From Kyle's time in school, he knew he was a tamer, and he loved his familiars, so he figured it would be a waste if he didn't somehow work for True Cross. However, he couldn't be readmitted into the academy, and was nowhere near powerful enough to take the examination to become a professional exorcist. Kyle's only option was to be taught by a family member, and the only family member who could do that besides his mother was his aunt, who was a retired teacher at True Cross. Mina took him in and taught him how to control his familiars, as well as to use spells and incantations against demons.
Kyle began working part time at a local library when he was 16, and continued to gradually move up in rank until he became the head librarian when he was 23. At the age of 26, Kyle took and passed to exam to become an exorcist just a month before Mina succumbed to cancer. Before she died, however, she convinced True Cross Academy to give Kyle the opportunity to work as a temporary teacher, and if he did well enough there, to hire him permanently. Kyle had mentioned several times to her that he wanted to be a teacher-- at least more frequently than he mentioned wanting to do other thingsD-- and teaching was the one profession that Mina actually could influence. Due to his history, True Cross was hesitant, but eventually gave in to Mina's request.
Kyle loved teaching, and though his methods were unorthodox to say the least, and a rather considerable liability, True Cross hired him as a permanent teacher.

FAMILIAR TYPE: Shiva. Kin of Egyn
FAMILIAR DESCRIPTION: As a shiva, Hiereina possesses powers that draw from ice. Like all shiva, she can use the power to freeze everything on sight, but her manifestation of the power is considerably weaker than most. Hiereina's strength is freezing objects or beings on contact.
FAMILIAR DESCRIPTION APPEARANCE: Hiereina appears to be a rather short (4'5") and slender woman with very pale skin and long blue hair. She has a pair of wings that are each about 5 feet long extending from where her shoulderblades would be. Her wings are not functional for flight, but can be used as a shield.

FAMILIAR ABILITY: Hiereina's unique ability is to freeze the water within a living being on contact. She can control the temperature and location of the freezing, allowing her to create specific patterns or only disable certain areas. She does not, however, have the ability to freeze something enclosed in material without freezing the material between her and the object she wishes to freeze. For example, she could not freeze a heart without first freezing the skin, muscles, ribs, lung, and paracardial membranes.

FAMILIAR DESCRIPTION: Auspine is a low level snake possessing demon who Kyle uses as a pet more than anything else. He is typically not very far from Kyle at any given time, unless he is hunting or needs to return to hell temporarily.
FAMILIAR DESCRIPTION APPEARANCE: Auspine possesses a dark green snake approximately 2.5 feet long

EXPERTISE:
Charming-- there's a reason Kyle was able to get away with rarely attending classes until he was 15: he is exceptionally charming and very good at saying exactly what people want to hear to get out of trouble.
Demonology expert-- often when Kyle didn't attend class, he would go hang out in libraries. Simply from reading so much, he gained a lot of knowledge on seemingly trivial things, but his favorite subject was demonology. He can identify almost any demon from sight or a description.
Speed reader-- though a seemingly trivial skill, Kyle can read up to a 500 page book cover to cover in less than 2 hours.
