Magesc As you are going about your business in Eowyn, you hear a strange humming sound, a buzzing in your ears more felt than heard. Turning around you see a strange thing floating towards you. A suit of shining steel armor, gilded and encrusted with sapphires, that's missing the legs. A glowing ball of blue magic swirls where the legs should be and from the helmet's eye slit comes a matching blue glow.
It pauses as it looks at you and suddenly you hear a strange rumbling whisper. Gravely, metallic, yet soft... dangerous.:
" ... Dragon like Form Sighted. Not A Dragon. Must Bring Back."
You must fight!

Mara Stats: You need to roll a 71-100 to win! This is the same for everyone. You gain your level in EXP for a win and half of your level for a loss. (So if you are level 100, you gain 100 EXP for a win and 50 EXP for a loss.)
If you win, then the glowing lights flee back towards the location of the Marlan Project as the metal armor falls to the ground, becoming lifeless again.
If you lose, the strange creation will track them for a while, until they reach a port or clan of Khehoras.

Grrel was stretching her wings in the early morning light, feeling very satisfied with the spoils of her joint hunting with Jijikko. In fact, she thought as s he looked at her pile of orbs. I think I shall attempt that darned ritual again! But.. this time I’ll go to Anodyne instead. Rhazes place for the ritual does not suit my needs. Someplace where the sky can reach me instead of a cave will be much better I feel!
Her happy contemplations were ruined when something magical caught her senses. Magic and metal she thought as she sniffed the air. Fascinating! And I don’t think I can smell any Magescian about it. Curious, she flew towards the sent.
Landing nearby she watched as it paused then floated towards her. It was a suit of armor: all nice ad shiny! I want. She thought, oh my do I want that armor! But.. where are its legs? Only a swirling ball of blue magic was there. Even more interesting! She was about to speak when it spoke:
" ... Dragon like Form Sighted. Not A Dragon. Must Bring Back."
“How rude!” She sneered, “Like I’d follow a suit of armor!” She gathered her lightning and shocked it.. to no effect. A deep metallic chuckle responded as it flashed towards her, its long handled axe sweeping towards her wings. She ducked and rolled to one side as she threw more magic at her foe to give her time to back up. Why is it not working? She wondered. Her eyes narrowed as she hovered in the air above it and sent her magic out probing. Ah! It’s got Earth magic! How does it have that? She thought in curiosity, just who made this?
Growling, she thrust her wings downwards and spun off into the sky. A metal suit of armor made with Gaili magic… not something a Kiandri would have much luck against!

Final Prompt:What do you do? Who do you tell? Do you tell anyone? You've encountered something that has intelligence yet has never before been seen... And it's quite hostile! "Bring Back" These words make you think that maybe there are more of them out in the desert.... Please provide a small response. As she flew off she wondered if her clan was okay. This thing had come from the desert, and it had spoken as if there were more. And had spoken like a mage who had found something it wanted to examine further. Just what was this? Perhaps I should return now and make sure the clan’s all right. My pride isn’t worth them getting hurt! But.. Toki is there, she thought, and Brassarril as well. They should be fine! I’ll just go and … do the ritual then return. Yeah…
Then I can tell them about the weird suit of armor! If they haven't found out about them by now...
