History: Penthesilea arrives in Troy at the start of Posthomerica, the night before the fighting is due to recommence following Hector's death and funeral. She came to Troy to prove to others that her people, the Amazons, are great warriors and can share the hardships of war and to appease the Gods for accidentally killing her sister Hippolyta while hunting. She arrived with twelve companions and promised the Trojans that she would kill Achilles. On her first and only day of fighting, Penthesilea kills many men and clashes with Telamonian Ajax, although there is no clear victor, before she comes face to face with Achilles, who had been summoned by Telamonian Ajax. Prior to Achilles' entrance, Penthesilea had tried to fight Telamonian Ajax but he had merely laughed off her attempts, thinking her an unfit opponent. With only one blow to her breastplate, Achilles knocks her to the ground and she begs for her life. He is unmoved, kills her, and mocks her corpse until he removes her helmet and feels strong remorse.

They will all be summoned under the same Class as Penthesilea, so if she is an Archer, they will all wield bows, or if she is a Lancer, they shall be wielding the same type of armaments. On their Queen's command, they will assail her enemies till they are defeated, or they claim victory. Due to the strain of maintaining multiple Servants, even ones of low abilities, they can only be manifested for a few minutes at a time.

In an act to atone for her sin of killing her Sister in a Hunt, she was bestowed by Ares with the power to see her will done. This was originally designed to be used against the Hero Achilles, but she was unable to use it against him. She had been far too worn from her battle with Telamonian Ajax. Upon activation, she calls forth an Arrow, charged to the brim with power. Simply put, it's an Arrow simply used to destroy, much as the God it's named after. Upon impact, the explosion with roar forth to envelop anything around it, then implode to swallow anything inside. The Howling Explosion is said to sound like the Roar of Ares himself, striking terror to all who hear it.
