Das Tor LOOK I A START FOR THIS FINALLY A-YOOOOOOOO. Daniel was always happy for time off. His nightly patrol before bed time (his own bed time) was tiring, and days he could play knowing the night brought more rest were pleasant. Today was one such day, and Daniel was outside in superhero clothes, a CD stolen borrowed from Thomas playing loud, vicious music sounded nearby, the young chibi running along, eagerly. He was laughing, and happily jumped around. "YAH!"

She had new leggings. She had new leggings and they were the best leggings ever and she just had to show Daniel! She had put together the best outfit ever with them, even getting to use some of the beaded bracelets and the beaded necklace she'd made herself along with the various silicone wristbands she'd gotten over the year, before she ran outside and down towards Daniel's. Seeing him outside already made her skip for a few steps.
"Daniel! Daniel, I got new leggings! They're space!" She stopped, though, blinking at his outfit and the music playing nearby. "What're you wearing, Daniel?" SHE WAS CONFUSED.

Daniel looked up, blinking before squealing. Bailey was in cute clothes! AAAAHHHH! "I'mma Superhero!" Daniel tried looking strong, then turned bashful. "A non-magic superhero! Mama helped me." He strode over, hugging her. "Want to play? you can be my sidekick! We'll save the world!"

Bailey giggled and grinned, nodding as she hugged back. "Sure! Like...like Batman and Robin?" She would be an awesome Robin! "What kinda music are you listening to, though? I've never heard it before." And she'd heard a lot of music because her Mommy and Daddy and Reed all listened to different kinds of stuff. And then there was the stuff she really liked!

"Thomas calls it rock. it's neato, it's a story! It's a little sad, so I pretend a better ending." Daniel nodded, and posed. "Yeah! Batman and Robin! Or Captain 'Merica and Bucky!" Daniel posed, crooning. He saw no problems with girls playing boy roles, after all. "We're gonna save the world! Pew pew!"

"I've only seen the new Captain America movies. So I dunno what they were like as hero and sidekick." She looked sheepish. "Mommy says I might not like the comics. 'Cause what happens to Bucky in there is worse than the movies." And she just wanted to hug poor Bucky in the movies! "But yeah! We can save the world!" Just like they were going to do one day as senshi! "So what do we gotta do to save the world, today?"

"That's like not liking the Harry Potter movies 'cause they have stuff in 'em that wasn't in the books!" And she rather liked Harry Potter! The movies and the books! She wrapped her hand around Daniel's when he took hers, nodding.
"Yeah! A kitty or puppy or something!" Or another kid being bullied! Or a person needing help with their groceries! There wasn't anyone obvious that she could see, and then an idea popped into her head. "Daniel! We can check the trees! Sometimes, kitties get stuck in them!" She knew that from experience! Her Grandpa Jameson's kitty had gotten stuck up a tree a lot when they visited him last.

For a flash, a fleeting moment, Daniel considered asking if he should henshin, but decided against it. He needed to learn to be okay without his powers, just in case, and the young senshi instead nodded. He looked up, high in every tree, watching carefully before he hummed, spying a small shadow in a particularly high oak, and he pointed. "There! Oh, the kitty looks scared, too. Let's go!" and he let go of her hand, rubbing and beginning to climb. "I bet the kitty's really hungry!"

Bailey did her part to look, unafraid of getting bark or sap on her person. Yes, her clothes were pretty...but they were sturdy! And they could all go in the washer! Daniel's call had her looking over to him, following after he let go of her hand.
"Oh no! Poor kitty!" She looked thoughtful a moment before speaking again. "Maybe...after you have the kitty, I could climb up, and you hand them to me! And then you climb down a little and I hand them to you, and we keep doing that!" It would be the easiest way to keep kitty and people safe!

Daniel nodded. "Good idea. The kitty looks scared." The boy admitted, and reached to pet, crooning. Poor, afraid kitty.

Bailey followed Daniel up the tree, making sure to get close enough that she could grab the kitty, but not too close. They wanted real progress going down, after all! She took a deep breath, then started making soothing, crooning noises to the kitty as well.
"Come on, kitty. You're safe. We'll get you down."

Daniel slowly coaxed the kitten into his hands with Bailey's help, and for a moment, marvelled at the small mewing creature in his big hands, before lowering it slowly, offering the kitten o Bailey slowly. "Will it be okay?" He fretted. Fretting, it seemed, was becoming more habitual daily.

"I'm sure they'll be okay!" Bailey carefully took the kitty, holding as securely as she could without making her hold on the tree unsteady. "And now you climb down a little and I hand the kitty to you!" They could do it! And one little kitten would be safe and sound in the end! Maybe she could even get the poor kitty a little salmon from the fridge to help it feel a little better...

Daniel nodded, climbing down slowly and carefully. "Si. Hopefully the kitty will feel better." The boy said worriedly. Once in position, he offered his arms. Thankfully it wasn't a very large tree, but to a kitten? Very likely it seemed enormous - maybe the size of the whole world, and Daniel wanted the kitten safe. "Does it have a collar and home, I wonder?"
