Seriously what's up with hacking? Harcore gamers nearby where I live and work are pressuring me to buy a "blank" DS card and hack into the internet to download games instead of downright buying them. Why?? I don't mind spending cash to buy games!! People are trying to make me a criminal or something!!

Look, I don't know if you guys on the internet "hack" in anyway, but I don't. If you want me to, then just stop it. I hate hacking, illegal ROMS, playing what are supposed to be console games on my computer with a damn keyboard.....just why? Is not paying supposed to be cool? OH WOW BY HAKNG AND PLYNG GAMZ ONLINE I CAN SAVE A TON OF MONEY!!!

You guys out there can go hack games yourselves, just stop telling me to because I'm a sissypus. mad

Know what you mean, I've never liked emulators.

...and yea, it is kinda cool that you can buy a card that hacks your DS and allows you to put music and stuff on it, even NES/SNES emulators.....but....why not just wait for the official one to come out?

thats not nice. some "hackers" play games that were unavailable, or games owned and stolen unjustly, and primarily games that are no longer available on the market at even stores like Gamestop. I myself have aquired ROMs of games that were only available in Japan and never made available in the USA. the third Secret of Mana, the SNES release of Tales of Phantasia, and Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story. great games that would've cornered the market had it not been for poor decisions in marketing. had these games been released prior to American dubbing with the original names merely translated, any anime or manga or even movie made in relation to the game would've been saved from horrible dubbing!

dont judge all ROM downloaders as bad because of what they do, some of us pick games we admire for either nostalgia, and relive days we could never have again, to play games that in the past were too difficult. also take notice that there are items that can apply the SNES controller to a computer for more accurate gaming nostalgia. BTW: I've not been caught because I adhere to the rules of ROM download. if SMAS is downloadable on the Revolution I'll gladly download it to the Revolution for the guilty pleasure without the guilt!

I'm not tellin ya to download anything, I may recomend a game or two, but I wont say "download *game title* now! it totally rulz!!" no! I recomend it, and I may get excited, but it's clearly your choice weather or not you wanna give it a try. and dont use leet again, I'm gonna tell you right now and be as honest as possible, using leet does NOT make you look cool, it makes you look like a ******** moron who should be shot in the genitals with a .50 magnum. leet was started by morons who played the counterstrike mod for Half Life, and it spread like a plague, dont be a ******** moron, cuz leet isnt cool! besides, leet is illegible and a severe gramatical error that I cannot tolerate.

I know, I decided to changed it..... sweatdrop

Lemme tell you that sometimes I use leet to express my frustrations againsts the real deal, and also people who pressure me to do things I won't and even shouldn't. I just don't think hacking is cool but I'm in a very, very small niche of gamers right now..... sweatdrop

I personally do download ROMs, only SNES ones, because..
a) You can't find a SNES around here. <__<;; I've never seen one through ALL those gaming stores.
b) Hey, I'm playing Tales of Phantasia in ENGLISH.

I got bored with it, I only play Roms I can enjoy all the time, if I can beat it or not. not bad really, I keep the ones I can play constantly when my PC is on, but they're on a PC that isnt connected to the internet. razz they dont sell SNES games anymore anyways, not all of them, the ones that will be downloadable though for the Revolution can be purchased, but I'll download some ROMs I cant buy in the USA like some Japanese games. games like Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story. I'll pay for the actual game if an English version is released with the Japanese names in tact, and the entire thing not screwed with! it isnt cool to americanize s**t! seriously!

I still wait for a SM game for a 3D Nintendo console.

@ Raptor: Why do you keep bringing up Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story?
okay, my reasons are easy to figure out.

1: I'm a moonie(simple as that) razz .

2: SM:AS is an awesome game for the SNES, you gotta figure out the link techs and there's a long story you cant finish in a single sitting, so much to find, and a rare item that you need to complete a puzzle for. you'll know what I mean if you play it. but you can make senshi teams at certain points of the game, depending on which senshi are fighting you can execute certain techs/combos.

it's got a long story, familiar characters, and plenty of ways to beat down enemies, and attacks become available for use when your EP rises with your level. you start off only able to do minimal powers, and the need to constantly recharge EP adds a bit of a challenge. seriously, it beats FF in terms of RPG.
