Background: The son of Sir Eculeus, a Knight serving Cervus' father, Equus' mother Ungula died giving birth to him. Equus was the 6th child freed from the curse. He was assigned as an apprentice to prepare him for assuming the role of his father as a knight to the Sun King. Recently he transformed into a muscled, tall, and strong teen, the equivalent of an 18 year old human, and was raised to officially be a squire in preparation for Knighthood.

Personality: Equus was a stocky little boy, and was rather self conscious about not being as lean and slender as most of his peers. His size held the promise of future muscle and height, however, and he was very strong for his age without being overly clumsy. He was shy and quiet, but very protective of the other children.

After his transformation into a teen, he found himself strongly muscled and well formed, but part of him inside is still that self conscious little boy, which lends him a charming humbleness and lack of conceit. He is extremely hard working, very focused on his impending knighthood (in love with all things combat!), and very good with the horses of the stables.

Extended Personality
Equus' appearance is often decieving. Although he's becoming increasingly attractive as he ages, he remains insecure around most people. He tends to keep to himself during most public outings and despises large crowds. Equus is a bit paranoid about the Moon Court and its followers, as any Sun Court knight would be. He's also quite afraid of spiders and the dark. I've yet to find a real reason for him to be scared of either of these last two things, but I suppose he has his reasons.

Clumsy and shy, a knight is not the first thing a stranger would expect to be Equus' future profession. When he is fighting, however, a strange ferocity tends to take over and his fighting abilities become clear. All signs of the timid and blundering little boy he once was vanish as soon as Equus picks up his sword. He seems to have some thirst for taking revenge on the Moon Court. Neither of us, at this point in time, know why this is. As far as I know he's never even seen a Moon Court Fey. (TBC SOON)

Likes
I'd have to say Equus' favorite posession is his sword. He practices his fighting for hours at a time, and fends off my attacks surprisingly well. Even when he was recovering from a (self-inflicted) hand injury, he continued to earnestly practice his maneuvers and spells. Equus enjoys reading though sometimes finds it tedious. He loves being in the stables, the horses, and everything about Castellum Argentus.

Dislikes
Being the nature-oriented Fey that he is, it's hard to fathom that Equus could loathe any creature. This is unfortunately the case with spiders. He isn't just afraid of them. If Equus spots a spider anywhere in his general area, he'll immidiately stomp over to it and kill the poor thing with a fierce determination. Another thing Equus has an aversion toward is darkness. He has ways of comforting himself if left alone in the dark, but sometimes has a hard time focusing on them. Minor dislikes of Equus' include loud noises, being inactive, twinkies, large amounts of hair, and shoes.

Preferred Foods
His favorite foods are carrots and sauce. Yes, even together. Equus will eat gravy on anything - including his own fingers. I caught him eating dog food once when he was younger but I think he's past that phase.

Favorite Places
Equus really enjoys being in his chambers. Alone. Anywhere with a moderate noise-level and a secure lock is favorable in Equus' eyes. He does not enjoy the Gaian world very much, and finds most of the people there to be very annoying and rarely wise.

Random Facts
-Equus dislikes cell phones and computers and finds them confusing.
-His favorite color is gold.
-His favorite animals are horses and fireflies.
-He inwardly thinks of his Kithain as a child and is most likely more intelligent than her.
-His favorite family member is Sieben (aside from Weasley).
-He enjoys being alone (at least during the day).
-He's pretty laid-back and easy to get along with.
-Equus has an affinity for Filix.
-He has a problem with showing his emotions, because he thinks of it as a weakness.
-Although attractive he retains a sense of insecurity.

Maggie
Maggie is the daughter of one of Weasley's favorite pets, Ronach. Equus sort of adopted her as his own, since she has an awful fear of spiders. He loves her because he can relate to her plight, and fiercly protects her from any invading insects that happen to wander their way. Equus also slips her pieces of human food when he thinks Weasley is not watching. She is permitted to sleep on Equus' bed.


Dionysus
No one really knows much about Dionysus' past. His egg was won by Weasley under rather odd circumstances, and she doesn't talk of it much. Although Nys lives in the Gaian world with Weasley and the rest of her pets, Equus is particularly fond of this deer-like creature. When tired or unable to fly, he'll often ride atop Nys' head, valiantly standing between his antlers. Equus refers to Dionysus as his noble steed.
