After finding the Fluffotton on the Westen shore of Koralifel, I headed off to talk to my brothers. Unfortunately I had to swim back around the southern tip of Soudol where I had that first run in with the Ysali. I decided to risk swimming on the surface so that the Fluffotton wasn’t damaged. I probably should have gone a different path. The Ysali was apparently looking for me. I was swimming by that stream outlet when it came bounding out of rock overhang. This was starting to feel like the same event. Since I was worried about the salt water destroying the FLuffotton through its wrapping, I launched myself laboriously into the air without diving first. Sometimes it sucks being large, I hate leaving the ocean for the air without any momentum. It always takes too much effort. Since I had been watching for him, I managed to take to the air just before he crashed into me. The crash knocked my breath out, but I managed to gain height as he flew by. Well, this sucked. I was out of my element, but I didn’t want to lose the Fluffotton I had just found. I decided to fly higher and start flying out over the ocean towards my brother’s lairs. I’m pretty sure that my wings are stronger from all the underwater flying that I do compared to a land walker. This Ysali dragon apparently didn’t agree. He turned around and came after me. We kept flying and I managed to keep the distance the same. After a couple of hours of this silly chase, the Ysali dragon apparently got bored of never getting any closer and turned back around to his lair

Good. Now I could slow my wingbeats and coast. I guess it would be better to stay flying rather than swim on the surface. Surface swimming on the ocean is exhausting and a bit disorientating with all the waves. I flew through the night, not bothering to stop for any midnight snacks, which propably wasn’t the best idea. I’m a big Orakovan and need my feeding. The fact was that I was completely famished after a long night swimming, escaping from a Ysali dragon, herb hunting, flying away from the same Ysali, and more flying. I needed food and lots of it. So As I flew over the ocean, I kept my eye out for land. I could hunt on land without worrying about the Fluffotton being damaged by salt water. I spotted another coast line of Soudol ahead and decided to set down and find some food. I flew over the coast and looked for food. What happened next is proof that I should never go several hours without eating.

I spotted a different Ysali dragon taking down some beast. Without thinking I rolled in the air and dived. With my combined weight and the speed I gained from the dive, I smashed right into the dragon, breaking its spine. I tossed its broken body away and launched myself at the wounded beast. I have no clue what it was, but it was bleeding and I was starving. To be quite frank, I’m not actually sure it was dead when I started eating, but it certainly was after I had finished licking its bones clean. Finishing my feast, I looked around for the dragon. I saw it was still alive and wandered over to it. It certainly wasn’t going to heal up after a spine broken in three places and shredded wings. I reached out and ended its pain by snapping its neck. Hunger makes me act weird but not killing an enemy before eating is a little too much. I shall have to work on that. I pick up the Yslai dragon orb and add it to my plant pouch containing the Fluffotton and look for a place to nap. Spotting an opening in the nearby rocks, I hope it’s the lair of this particular Ysali dragon and curl up for the night, I’m too sleepy to fly back to the ocean, and this way my stuff is safe from the salt water. I shall have to find a pouch for holding stuff. Maybe my brothers will know how I can get one.
