Al was ready to take another shower. No reason. None at all. Towel slung on his shoulder. He wandered into the public showers when they seemed at their quietest... when he stumbled upon a strange new trainee passed out asleep on the bench. Part of him wanted to hunt down a jockstrap just to fit it on the strange guys face. The rest - which won- was more curious by what he thought he was doing. "Oy," he poked him with his foot. "Wake up."

Mikael tried to sleep wherever he could get it, he didn't like the basement, it was terrifying, damp and uncomfortable. The common areas all seemed a bit more safe, no harm could befall him when there were people all around him. He'd had a shower and then once he was dressed again, had curled up to sleep.
At least until he found himself poked.
Fenrir snarled irritably. Sleep was important.
Blearily he opened his eyes and mercifully did not bite Al's leg. "Huh?" he said, not sure where he was.

"You okay man? You kind of passed out in the showers there," his eyebrows raised and he offered an uncertain smile. Okay, now he was sure he hasn't met this guy before. He seemed familiar but most certainly not from this lifetime. "I'm Al by the way."

Mikael got up to sit. "Uh. Oh right I am still here." he let out a heavy despairing sigh. He'd been hoping to wake up back in his bed or at the very least in the normal sane world outside the island. It would be great if all of this had simply been cheese before bedtime rather than the persistent and enduring nightmare it was turning out to be.
"Jag heter Mikael. My name is Mikael, nice to meet you Al." he extended a hand hopefully.

Al took the hand and shook it heartily. He gave Mikael a baffled look and arched a brow, "swede?" it sounded it, but he couldn't be entirely sure as when he was speaking English, it was clearer than his own.
"When did you wake up man?"

"Few days ago? A week?" Mikael hazarded. He didn't know exactly when he had actually woken up at this point, days blurred into one another in a nightmare that seemed like it would never actually end. "And yes, Swedish."
He looked slightly ashamed at having been found sleeping where he was. "The basement is not comfortable." he explained.

"It's okay man, no need to explain s**t," Al smiled. "Has anyone given you a tour yet?" An excuse to delay showering just a bit was a bonus in his book and completely worth being seen around with the new guy who sleeps in the showers.

The boy shook his head. "I know where the cafeteria is." because food was the most important thing. "Beyond that I avoid wandering too much in case I get lost. I do not want to be lost." The idea of being lost in this strange facility was very intimidating, he'd already been unsettled by the bizzare blue glowing objects here and there, they looked dangerous and possibly radioactive.
"You could show me around?" he offered hesitantly.

Al flashed a wild toothy grin before trying to grab Mik's hand. If successful, he didn't skip a beat before he was already dragging the trainee along. "Aw man! There's way more to this place than food. C'mon I gotta show you everything. Do you even have a room yet man?"

Mikael let himself be dragged, still slightly dazed and drowsy from his nap. "Yes." he said sadly in reference to a room. "But it is in the basement."

Al was already leading him from the showers and down the hall. "What's wrong with the basement? America is down there." It didn't take long before they reached their first destination. Al released the poor newbie and spread his arms out wide at a tarp that appeared to be tacked up against a wall. "Welcome to my abode~"

Compared to the basement, Al's room was a mansion, even with the tarp the corridor upstairs was far more cosy and less musty and stinky than the former dungeons. "America?" the boy asked, distracted. "Lady from twitter?" he'd noted her unusual name. "Is she a good person?" he asked, before once again turning his attention to the room.
"Um. It is nice." he said, supportively.

"Yeah, she's ******** awesome. She has the best treats and her hugs are near mind blowing." Al nodded enthusiastically. "Man it'll be better than nice once the repairs are done. What's your room like?" He excitedly offered Mik a sit on his fur pile with a flourish of his hand. He had since started hanging a few framed bug displays near the back of his room.

Mikael wasn't sure how he felt about what he'd seen of America compared to the other hunter's description of her. She seemed nice enough, though excitable at times. "I need to meet her sometime." he said, and meant it, America seemed to be the way to really get things done in the dungeons when it was needed. He sat down on the fur and looked around. It really was like a mansion in comparison, spartan as it was. "It's really nice right now though." he said. "My room has a ..something in it." he gestured a rectangular object with his hands. "Like in movies, table for people. Chains around legs? Bloody." he shook his head. "It is not nice. The room is not nice."

Al smiled delightedly at the vaguest of compliments. He was ultimately very proud of his room. With or without certain amenities. But. That didn't stop him from suddenly shifting giddily as Mik spoke of his own room. "Oh man, that sounds like cool s**t, can I see?"
