Updates
➳ May 29th, 2014: Aaran is confronted with the horrible news of his family's death and is quickly whisked away by a man called Natsu, his partner, Viveka, and their entire family as a new part of theirs. Loss and acceptance all in one day... It's all so hard to process.

Aaran keeps to himself most of the time but chats pleasantly and calmly with others. He appears amiable and approachable.
He is polite, but with an air of timidness, as if he feels as though he were a bother.
Asking for help, attention, or being the center of focus are incredibly hard for him to do.
Aaran is deathly afraid of thunder storms.
Aaran dislikes being left alone and may become paranoid if left alone during the night.
Though he may not actively engage with others, the absence of people or chatter unnerves him. Aaran needs people around him in order to focus and relax.
Fluffy things are major comforts to Aaran, espescially Raptrix fur.
Other comforts are flutes, music, fire, shredding paper or grass, and cinnamon.
Aaran doesn't mind hugs but won't ask for them.
Aaran wishes he had freckles on his cheeks, like his older brother had.
Aaran likes to sleep in.
Aaran doesn't like tea, unless it has cinnamon in it.
His favorite foods are vegetables, stews, and cinnamon sweets.
Aaran prefers the cold and is very curious about Zena.
Aaran likes to travel with people rather than on his own.
He is very proud of his hair color and admires his adoptive father's use of the color in his hair, despite it being dyed.

History
(Note: Rewrite this)
Aaran's father was named Atni, he had a substantial build, and wielded a large sword. He died from being crushed by one of the beasts in the war.
Aaran's mother was named Baija, she wore quite a bit of jewelry, and wielded beads. She died from an arrow to the jugular vein.
Aaran's elder brother was named Gattick, he had a love for dried meat and eggs, and wielded a large gold painted bow and arrow set. He supposedly died from multiple infected wounds.
Aaran himself is only 15, he has no real idea of who he is or what he should be doing, and has just found himself a new home with a large, mixed family from Mez, a town he has heard of, but never been to.

Aaran lived with his former family in Dernd and has never been out of the village on his own. However, now that he lives in Mez, his new family seems to be broadening his horizons... Even if he's not sure if he wants them to be broadened or not just yet.
