FANMIX YOUR CHARACTERS!!
AND EVERYONE ELSE'S

A lot of people have a lot of feelings about music for their characters. And a lot of people are looking for new music to try, like me! So I decided to make a thread for people to use to share their character feels, their fanmixes, their "this is my character in a nutshell" tracks. This way, we all get new music, new genres, new artists, and it shall generally be very fancy!!

Resources:
8tracks is a really neat playlist-oriented site. I use it a lot myself, because I like being able to ordain the order in which I listen to songs, and also because it's easier than making videos for youtube upload.
YouTube is a good place if you just want to link us to one song.
A-Z Lyrics is a good place to find lyrics and also it doesn't do dumb s**t with ads like most lyric sites. It's generally English-language only, though. sad

I had trouble finding songs for Megrez, but once I hit on the inspiration for what to do, that made things... a bit easier. X'D I imagine her tastes (aside from the Ar Tonelico) are a bit more consistently poppy than mine are, so that's kind of an inaccuracy in this mix.

The mix can more or less be divided into 3 parts. The first three tracks are Megrez's beginning, her more innocent days before she learned the true face of the war. The second three are a transition to Megrez's "action days," between her first Boot Camp and the shock to her system from Das Gift. EXEC_Z is the crux of the last three songs as it was for Megrez herself, the turning point where she realizes that she can't go back from her actions- she's fully in the war now and there's no way out. I deliberately put two very different Don't Tread on Mes for the sake of contrast; the latter of the two indicates her resolve towards fighting (and fulfills my minimum-one-Metallica-song-per-character obligation).
