For a week she have lived in one place, and although to many people it wasn't that much for most people it was a lot for her. Normally at a week her family had already moved on to the next place. Naturally although the week with Nyiim was just amazing, she was starting to get antsy. When she moved she remembered talking to Nyiim about adventuring, maybe it was time to remind him about that.
"Come on Jania, let's go see Boesede and Nyiim." she said as she laid a hand on her companion. Jania was getting bigger and bigger, she loved it. She wouldn't be as big as Boesede, but Jania would be pretty big. Maybe they would even have puppies? She could just imagine it, lotsa little puppies running around. Than again if they had puppies that meant both Niadra and Nyiim would be stuck to the house for a while, and working on the house would be a problem with puppies running around. No maybe breeding the two of them wasn't such a good idea.
"Nyiim?" she called as she looked around the house. Maybe he was outside?

Nyiim was indeed outside, tossing a stick around with Bosede. Isala dove happily through the air after this and that. Warmer weather had brought with it a plentiful crop of bugs to enjoy. It was the raptrix that saw the pair first, ears and tail perking with half a branch sticking out of his mouth. His tail began to wag. Nyiim turned to face the direction the beast so raptly stared. The Leaf earthling smiled.
"Fancy seeing you here," he said, standing to greet her. Bosede rushed to Jania and did a happy circle around her. Past the group, it seemed as if Nyiim was making some headway on his new home. When he wasn't with Niadra, he found his mind wandering. He needed to keep busy.

Niadra smiled at seeing Nyiim's happy face. Jania rushed to meet Bosede, she barked once as he rand around her before attempting to put the half of the branch that was not in his mouth into her own. Niadra laughed and shook her head. "Seems that to her what is his, is also hers." she said as she got closer to Nyiim.
"The house is coming along well." she said as she nodded towards the structure. She swore it would take forever, but the way that Nyiim was doing it made it seem like easy work. "What are you going to do today? More work?" she asked curiously. She didn't want to bother him if he had stuff to do.

Nyiim took Niadra's hand in greeting as she continued to speak. It wouldn't do to interrupt her with a proper hug... or would it? Really, he wasn't so sure. Bosede seemed content to play a game of tug-of-war (or, more aptly, walk around slowly) with Jania.
"Thank you," Nyiim nodded. Really, he wouldn't have made so much headway had Niadra been around. He had been hoping for some excitement, or at the very least a little time to lounge and... do whatever friends did. She was out often, though, and he couldn't blame her. How different it must be for her to not travel. Still, given the option...
"Well, that depends on if you have anywhere to go, I suppose." He smiled and touched her cheek affectionately. Really, he had been more prone to affection as of late... and smiling. It was all rather odd to him, but he found it easiest to just go with the flow. If he did something untoward, he was sure that Niadra would tell him.

Just the sparks she felt when he touched her hand made her happy beyond belief. It was simple things like that which allowed her to realizes that she made the right choice in staying here with him. She looked over to see Bosede and Jania walking around, playing the strangest tug of war she had ever seen.
She smiled, pushing her face into his hand softly as he touched her cheek. "Well, I was thinking if you had time we could go adventure. Like we had planned." she suggested. She had been wanting to ask him, but she didn't like to bother him. Plus he was working on the house, and she knew that was important. She would be happy when it was done too. She wasn't use to being up in a tree, though she was getting more and more use to it.
"We could go to where you found him, or somewhere new if you know of a place?" she smiled and closed her eyes as she nuzzled into his hand. It could be romantic even, or disastrous. Only time would tell. No matter what it would be better than doing nothing.

Nyiim pondered their choices for a moment. Adventure generally meant walking until you found something interesting, but the hidden temple was already a known location. They had both been there, and while it had once been rife with traps and pitfalls, he knew them to a reasonable extent. They would likely be safer there, but it would be less of a surprise.
Then again, maybe that was good. Maybe.
"Well, Bosede definitely had an owner at some point, and I don't think that owner came back out..." Then again, maybe he had simply gotten lost? "I'll go anywhere with you, though. With the two of us, we could make it anywhere."

She thought about it for a second, that had to be true. Or else someone would have come for Bosede. But at the same time she never saw any bones or dead bodies where she was. "Well maybe he did get out, and thought that Bosede had run off or been trapped and was forced to leave?" she suggested. Yes she liked her theory much better.
When he said he would go anywhere with her a blush formed on her cheeks. He was different than before she kissed him, but she wasn't complaining! She liked this new him. "I think we should go, maybe bring rocks or something to put on our path so we don't get lost?" it seemed like a good idea, though she wouldn't mind being lost with him in it. He was an archer now, he could protect her.

"Mm." He had meant to sound reassuring, but he highly doubted that someone had left such an intelligent and well-trained beast behind. There was no chance that a raptrix existed in the wild that instinctively knew how to lay down on command. He was armed, though, and had wandered off on his own plenty of times. They already knew the land. They would be alright.
"I'm not so sure about carrying rocks," he said then, "but I do have an idea." He motioned for Niadra to follow as he retrieved his bow and arrows, as well as a smaller, much less cumbersome stone. "So long as it doesn't turn wooden on us, we should be able to mark the way." He held the small grey stone in a hand. They would go as far as it lasted and no further. He did not want to get lost in some catacombs for his own amusement.
"Will Jania be alright?" She was young, she hadn't been with Niadra long, and thus couldn't have altogether too much training. He was more concerned with the beast running after a small furry something and getting hurt than jeopardizing their health. He knew the attachment between a man (or woman) and their raptrix, for certain.

She followed him willingly. Her plan with the rocks wasn't amazing, she had thought of it right there on the spot, so she was hopefully that he had a much better idea. The stone he grabbed was one she had not seen before. Nodding she agreed to his plan. "That sounds like a much better plan." she laughed as she shook her head. That way they would have a better indication of how far they had gone. He was the adventure of the two, it only made sense that he would know the right way to not get lost. Plus the thought of carrying all those rocks worried her. They would be so heavy. Now one rock, that was manageable.
Niadra frowned for a second as she looked at Jania. The two of them hadn't been together as long as she would have wished, but she had trained Jania pretty well. The question was,was it good enough? "Actually I think we might have to leave her here... I would rather not risk something happening to her." it pained her to leave Jania behind, she hadn't left the raptrix since she got Jania, but it was best to keep her safe.

"She'd be safe here," Nyiim nodded. She would be safer if Bosede were to stay behind as well, but he couldn't imagine being without the great beast. He had been at his side when they pulled the scale from the enormous behemoth he had been sent to claim. Then again, he and Niadra would be likely to survive the tomb again without any help. They had begun unfettered in the first place, and Bosede had only arrived later. He peered down at the beast who seemed entirely entertained. Maybe they could both use some time without each other. "I'll leave Bosede. Everyone knows him. They'll be safer here."
He and Niadra, however, could be significantly less safe. That was half the fun, though, wasn't it?

She was staring at Jania when Nyiim said he was willing to leave Bosede as well. She turned towards him, a bit of surprise on her face. She really hadn't seen the two of them separated before, well not that she could remember. But that would make it so that it was just the two of them, maybe a little more dangerous but at the same time more romantic.
"Yes, I will feel better knowing that he is here with her. Everyone knows him, and barely anyone knows her so she'll be safer with him." they hadn't been there long enough that Jania was well antiquated with the other people who lived near the, this way no one would think her a stray.
So he had his bow and arrows, and the stone to mark their way. "Okay, is there any thing else that you think we would need?" she hadn't really been adventuring herself so she didn't know what they would need. Food? How long would they be gone. It would be better to be over prepared than under prepared, right? They could get lost and end up staying later than they intended also.

"Well, you've been here a while. I'm sure she's a more familiar face... muzzle?" he smiled slightly and shook his head. "We should probably bring a few pods. I have some jerky upstairs too. Who knows how long we'll be gone?"
It wasn't that he planned to have a romantic evening with Niadra, that thought could not be further from his mind, but the fact remained that they could get lost or especially involved in exploring and need something to sustain them. Could they get up on top of the relic, he wondered? They'd have to try.
"If you want to gather a few pods, I have a bag? I'll be right back." Once again he disappeared through his front door and up the stairs, but this time he returned with a shoulder bag he entirely planned to carry himself. "Here you go..."
He found himself smiling at her, and he wasn't sure why.
a pet dino Gaia didn't tell me you'd posted, and you did on my birthday! I'm so sorry for the wait! ; n; <33
