Hi!
This guild is kinda barely here, so I didn't want to put this thread in another sub-section, but if an admin wants to move it of course go ahead. ^^
I was wondering if anyone wanted to share your cosplay pics!
From past conventions, or for coming up conventions.
I just finished my first real cosplay for Otakon coming up on August, and I wanted to share it with people who would appreciate it.
So where better than Gaia?

That is awesome! My kids and I just recently (not sure what took us so long) watched My Neighbor Totoro for the first time and really loved it. The kids really were wondering what sickness the mom had. The best I could figure was TB. Is that a safe assumption?

I've wondered the same thing, they never explain it.
I don't know about TB though. After a quick read over on Wiki..
People they come in contact with would have to screened, so I doubt that the hospital would have allowed her to come home (and sleep in the same bed with Mei) without taking precautions. The reason I am guessing TB is that I read Miyazaki's own mother had spinal TB when he and his brothers where children. Perhaps it was a variation that wasn't as contagious?
