THEME

By far the most radiant and beautiful vale to have ever been discovered. Dawnrise Vale gained it's name when the Star Elves travelled east to found Sunspire City, and it was named for its dawn-like appearence, forever in a warm state of autumn. There are long clean paths and radiant green grasses, loosely covering woods with golden leaves that have red, dragon-like tips create a canopy from the warm sun above. Winding paths can lead to an odd spring or pond. But from the more dense forests of Dawnrise, the Verdant have learned to camouflage well and blend in with the contrasting colours that are very different from what they're used to.

With a mask crafted just for me, I draw close to the enemy -
Slaying all those who may believe - dropping them in them dark.

The moon overhead burns up - like it may fall apart,
sinking over the hills into the dawn ...

Very quickly, Tsuna was up and ready to wreak vengeance upon the monster that caused all this mess. Her comments about getting King Sol something for his wall caused Landaras to smirk. But Micha'el only looked up for a moment, his blue eyes crossing over her trying not to glare, but instead just lignering on her as Lottie replied for them. "We'll go" she said, "we'll stop that thing and let it rest" her voice was filled with readiness and sorrow for the souls twisted into that monster. Aoi held her wand in her hands close to her chest, tilting her head, ready to follow them.

__________________________________

Venturring back through the forest again was uncanny. It was similar yet different this time. There was a darkness in the air that you couldn't see. The events of the battle earlier must have rustled the place up. Guards, though few, were returning back after their mission to find Tsuna. The were scouring the edges of the camp. But as they got closer they took the landscape into more detail. They could see exactly how what was once a beautiful forest had been turned into darkness, rot and foul magic. Soon enough they were peering into the massive hole that Tsuna fell into. As they looked down Lottie came to a conclusion, "the monster's gone... and so is that man."
"There must be a sign" Micha'el said, instantly jumping down to the pit below. The caverns opened up beneath the ground, like a pocket that was wide, and had a few tunnels coming off of it. More importantly though, one of the tunnels was lined with stone, like it was built to last and lead somewhere important, like a fortress. As the others followed Micha'el looked upon the crystal that Tsuna had fallen prey too, it was an endless darkness with a purple hue, the stone where it had been lodged for so long had began to tint green, like the crystal was diseased. He looked around and noticed more, half-buried into the walls and floor, all gigantic shards of the stuff. "Don't get too close to them" Micha'el said.

And again the tragedy repeats, shrouded with a veil laughs a face ominously,
To protect the things precious to me,
I'll draw my blade and challenge this dark cruel destiny!

Like prey trapped without a prayer - tangled in webs of despair,
My eyes lift up to the light, locking on to the sky.

Lottie and the other agreed to follow, not to indulge her vengeance but to properly put the souls of the elves to rest. They began to trek through the forest once more except the aura was much more polluted by malice. Soldiers from before relieved themselves and returned to the encampment since their mission to look for Tsuna had been shortly accomplished. The forest had been completely drained of life after the conflict with the Vardent earlier. They walked through the rotted landscape and came to the edges of the hole she had fallen into. Lottie announced that the Abomination and her father were gone, but she knew better. There was no way that thing could climb out, its own weight would be used against it. As for her father, she assumed that he either killed, which would be a miracle even for someone like him, or he wounded it and escaped. From up top, she couldn't smell or sense anything so they had to dive below.

Jumping down to investigate, and down at the bottom were sectioned off tunnels leading to somewhere. One of the tunnels that was excavated happened to be lined in stone. She recognized immediately as Micha'el lead the way into the tunnel until they stumbled upon the tainted crystals. The purple hue was sickening and she could feel their power grasping at her soul. She hadn't noticed before but a lot of the crystals were buried into the walls like common gemstones. Their were to many to count and it was a mystery to her as to how they were going to recover them all. She figured if they accidentally touched them they would succumb to the same madness as her and that's why Micha'el warned them.

It wasn't until a few seconds later, Tsuna inhaled the scent of blood, fresh blood, and it wasn't from the Vardent either. Instantly, her eyes opened wide and she pivoted as fast as she could. Jetting down the stone corridor without a word to the others, Tsuna skidded to a stop back in the main area of the pit. Her body froze when her eyes meet the beast in front of her, however it wasn't the beast itself that had her paralyzed, it was the limp body dangling in its jaw. His fiery red hair, the tattered coat, and his muscled arms now drenched in his own blood. "F...Father...." Tsuna breathed as everything else around her vanished in the background including her teammates. With what little strength her father could conjure up, he moved his head slightly as the beast growled impatiently. "Tsuna..." he choked out in a wheezing voice. The Abomination had crushed his ribs in its jaws, so even if she did free him there was no way he would live long. "You came back..." He said happily despite his situation. "Of course I did...I'm here to save you." She was in denial of what she was seeing before her and kidding herself.

"You're so brave...but I wanted it this way...seeing you again...one last time was enough....I'm tried of running...I just want to go home...where she is...." The way he spoke was ludicrous and instead of being brought to tears she was angered. "No! Here with me is your home! Coward! What has my mother ever done for us!? Nothing, expect break our hearts by dying! Forget about her!" The Vardent was growing tired of waiting and began to press down on the man who let of a painful yell before the Vardent was a little satisfied. Tsuna lost sight of her anger for a moment and jerked forward compelled to save her father only to be shoved away by her father's warning. "STOP!! Don't be stupid...I'm finished Tsuna..." The cub obeyed her father's last testament holding back tears for his sake. "You have to continue being the Little Warrior you are. One day our paths will cross again in another life...." He paused feeling the Vardent press down once more but this time it had ever intent to kill him for good. He didn't have much time, he had to tell her his last words. Tsuna could see the Vardent's trembling jaw and knew that her efforts to rescue him would fail. "Tsuna...I lo-" There was an echoing snap and a pool of blood that squirted out of the monster's mouth. Tsuna's heart instantly stopped and her eyes widened in utter despair. Within seconds, Tsuna was nothing more than a motionless orphan.

"Tsuna!" They all called as she suddenly pivoted. She was like a hound picking ups scent, without word she suddenly jetted down a corridor into the unknown and once again they had to follow into the depths of despair. Once they emerged they were met with a gruesome sight. First they paused behind Tsuna, seeing her expression and her pause, they followed her gaze towards the monster to see what had disturbed her so much. Micha'el swallowed, knowing all too well why Tsuna was so petrified.

They all waited in fear of what might happen next, not daring to do or say anything that might mean those jaws closer sooner. Tuna's reply filled Aoi with emotion, she wasn't sure how much she could take as soon as she realised they were father and daughter. Her hands clutched hold of her wand and it extended into a staff, as if she was discreetly trying to prepare for a fight as she kept herself as composed as possible.

But then the jaws snapped shut. Blood gushed out like a cascading waterfall and the room fell silent.

Then there was a mixture of rage, sorrow, angst and regret as the other members of Team Sun got into action fuelled by nothing more than pure hatred. Micha'el let out a battlecry more powerful and voice-breaking than ever before as white light erupted from him. Lottie charged in second, letting out a cry of bitter resentment as she pulled out her glaive and jumped into the sky to revenge her friend's loss. At the same time Aoi let out a power unlike before, it was more powerful, more attuned to their souls and it seemed to hit the walls of the room aggressively in the initial burst. She sang into the mic, releasing words of pain and anger, but at the same time her eyes cried for Tsuna, she cried for all of them, she wanted nothing more than for them to all survive... no more dying... no more pain... just winning.

Micha'el collided with the monster at it's shoulder, his white light seeped into the monster's skin as if it absorbed fog. Cracks emerged as Micha'el hovered over its shoulder and commanded the light into it's skin with his hand. Suddenly it erupted like a bomb and it was thrown sideways, where Lottie plunged her glaive as deep as possible into it's flesh. "DIE!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, ripping the glaive out with a burst of disgusting green and purple blood. A limb came to swipe at her, but spectral swords appear and instantly embedded themselves into it's flesh again, blocking the attack as she jumped backwards into the air and threw her glaive. Like a giant arrow it hit its back into its body, shortly followed by every other spectral blade she controlled, hitting it like a dozen needles. "NO MORE DYING!" Mich'a'el ordered, his eyes wide like a man man as he let his book float around him as he summoned all the magic he required. White light and fog erupted from his body and books as he channeled it into becoming more powerful. IT condensed over his body and became gleaming white armour, as well as a long polearm. But it only existed momentarily, his angelic image erupted again, forcing all the armour to burst into white magic again as it all condensed into his spear. As her threw it it blew the girt behind him away and it hit the monster's chest with an almighty blow, forcing it back against the wall. In another bid to keep fighting he summoned up some light to form into two white divine crossbows for each hand. He held them up ready to keep attacking with Lottie. "WE HAVE TO KILL THIS THING NOW!"

((wow Team Sun is NOT happy with Tsuna being this upset. They really ******** love her, they just went full crazy))

Tsuna Miki

Sadness mixed with festering rage and vengeance on her behalf consumed her teammates as they jumped into action. Micha'el cries echoed through the cavern as he lunged towards the beast with light escaping his body. Lottie pursued and launched herself into the air before crashing down onto the Abomination, her glaives extended out for a direct hit. Out of all of them, Aoi surprised her the most singing out her lungs into the mic and crying tears that she could not. Tsuna felt their emotions swell up inside her temporarily filling that the empty void she now had. She found herself staring ahead than silently moaning over her mangled father. She pretended like she resented him, but she really resented herself for being weak. If she continued to crumble in despair, her friends will end up in the same position and she refused to let that happen.

Micha'el attached himself to the monster's shoulder and began to seep white misty magic into its scaly skin. It absorbed it until the essence of his strange power erupted from its skin flinging it back into the wall. The beast's massive body dented the rock and shook the cave causing debris to fall from the top. Lottie combined her attack with Micha'el's and embedded her glaive deep into its belly. The creature wailed and squirmed like a bug being skewered by a needle. She yanked the glaive out of its gut and from the wound abnormal colored blood flew and splattered on the ground. The agitated beast swiped at her only for her to summon multiple spectral glaives that punctured its limb as it soared by. Lottie bought herself time to distance herself once the creature's attack was deflected giving her the advantage of attacking again. Her glaive united into one gigantic arrow which she plunged into the beast's back while another seat of glaives rained down on the writhing creature. Now that it was pinned, Micha'el opened his Book of Aires letting it hover around him enchantingly. An incredible white light and fog oozed from his body and the book condensing over his body. The force formed into glistening armor and a long polearm. It only lasted for a moment before all the light transferred into a powerful spear that he thrust at the creature sticking it into the wall. He didn't rest as he summoned two divine crossbows and assailed with Lottie in an attempt to kill the beast once and for all.

Tsuna was tried of sitting back and letting her friends risk their lives for her. Suddenly, her legs began to move on their own and slowly walking transpired into pacing, then jogging, and lastly running. A burning sensation channeled inside of her as fire exploded from her body sparking around her silhouette. She unleashed her hammer allowing the metal to soak up on the heat making it turn a glowing red. Eventually, she passed the others without a second glance and yelled, "FALL BACK AND CREATE A BARRIER AROUND YOURSELVES, NOW!!" she demanded as dug her feet into the dirt and bounced into the air. Instead of coming down with her hammer, she twirled the weapon around to the pole end with the new sniper accessory. She would use it now in honor of her father and set the monster blaze. All the fiery energy drained from the pole and into the barrel attachment that began to light up. She aimed into into the beast's gaping jaw and fired a orangish red beam into its throat. The monster was immediately silenced and its body imploded from the inside out within seconds. The explosion of fire, charred flesh, and guts covered the interior of the cave. Tsuna protected herself as much as she could with her arms, but the sonic wave pushed her back. She flew into the barrier hitting the ground with a thud and becoming winded. She laid in front of her comrades half conscious as she attempted to compose herself from the shock.

The two of them threw attack after attack and still the monster put up a fight. Suddenly Tsuna was running past them and clearing the dust behind her. She gave them an order and Micha'el saw the red-hot glowing weapon in her hands. The others did what she said and quickly ran back towards Aoi, who stopped singing. Micha'el waved his hand over his Aria and whispered some old words. Then there was a flash around them as Tsuna raised into the air. The light around them faded into a magical forcefield that was almost invisible and stopped most sound from escaping it. They watched as she unleashed her new attack upon the monster and were all struck with surprise when the enemy was obliterated. Micha'el's stomach twisted though when he saw Tsuna get taken away by the blast, Aoi and Lottie cried out, almost hitting the barrier as Tsuna came flying towards them. When she he it they heard the thud, and the barrier almost cracked. As soon as she hit the ground Micha'el caused the barrier to vanish and the girls were quickly by Tsuna's side. "Tsuna!" Lottie said, "are you alright?"
"You did it!" Aoi added, staring the girl up and down across the floor looking for injuries. Then Micha'el came to stand over her with a grin on his face and a hand on his side. In the other he had his Aria. But his small smile quickly vanished, he remembered that now was not a time to be happy. The monster was defeated but Tsuna's father... Instead he wrote in the air with his finger, white light crawled from the book and into his hand where he clenched it before lightly tossing it over Tsuna's body. It shimmered over her skin. "I can't heal" he said, "but I can numb pain. We should get back to the camp and update Landaras"

Tsuna Miki

Lottie's concerned rang loud and clear in her buzzing ears while Aoi congratulated her victory over the monster. All of them, expect for her, were relieved and even excited that they won over such a massive beast despite the tragedy that had just occurred. She blankly stared up at Micha'el blissful smile until he realized that the time for celebration wasn't now. To confront her, he conjured up a ball of light from the book and clenching it gently in his fist before throwing it onto her. Her skin was enveloped in a warm shimmering light that didn't heal her but numb her outside afflictions. The sharp pain festering inside her chest though, would remain for sometime. Instead of thanking him, she gave a somber nod before glancing back over her shoulder. Her father's corpse was engulfed with flames by now which is what he would have preferred than a traditional burial. It took everything in her power not to break down in front of her team. Eventually, she'll mourn alone in order to conceal her weakness from the others. "Let's go." She said as she brushed past them sounding broken and uncertain if she could efficiently lead them for the rest of this expedition.

Die die die...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Not every open wound is simply healed by time,
But revenge is always sweet,
And
chaos is the prize.

Feel it everywhere and you see it growing,
Enemies arise and the hate is flowing,
Shattering the moon and
bloodying the sky.

Wings - Micha'els sad theme

As Tsuna got up he could tell that his pain numbing magic had done the trick. But he saw more than that in her eyes. Tsuna's pain was more than physicall, it was pain of a broken heart. Nothing could mend that easily. Instead he pursed his lips shut and swallowed. He agreed to her with a nod just as she brushed by them. He turned to watch her made her way but looked back over his shoulder to watch the flames consume the remains of the monster... and her father. Aoi was following shortly behind Tsuna, but it was Lottie who stopped. "Micha'el?" she asked, looked perplexed with wide eyes. His eyes glistened over the fire, in the flames there were a great many things that he saw... a great many memories that he had repressed. "I'm coming" he said with a short smile.

Together they made their way back to the camp, it would seem it was rather calm and many of the Vardent forces had retreated for now. Evening had come in by now too, the warm rays coming through the trees just barely enough to keep it warm. Landaras greeted them. "I get feeling that the deed is done... " he waited for Tsuna to pass, seeing the way she moved he patiently waited before adding "though not without some sacrifice?" Micha'el paused, he looked around at the tents, the trodden grass and dirt, the regal flags and armoured elves with eyes like mini suns. He could only nod. "May we rest for tonight? We'll continue our mission when the sun rises"
"Very well, you will find your team's tent next to the rather absurdly decorated twins' tent."
"Absurdly decorated?" Micha'el asked, looking confused. Landaras shook his head and rolled his eyes, "they have an unhealthy obsessed with white and blue - a rather disturbing likeliness to the traitorous elves across the country" It only took Micha'el a few moments to realise that Landaras meant the twins had made their tent look like the colours of Merlin, but at the same time the colours reminded Landaras of nothing else but the Star Elves. "Ah..." he responded, then seeing the corner of their own tent sticking out behind several others.

Team Sun made their way, Tsuna eventually or earlier found her way to the tent without a problem. It was large enough to give them separate corners with heavy curtains that hung down to divide each others areas off. It was at least some kind of privacy, and even in the forest of the enemy the Sun Elves seem to believe in some kind of regal living environment. By the time night fell Aoi and Lottie were fast asleep in their own corners. Micha'el however was still awake. His bed was decent, it was comfortable, the sheets were cream and clean. The curtains were thick enough to keep heat inside, but he didn't feel too closed off from the others in the tent with him. But it couldn't help the loneliness he felt. He was sat up with his knees to his chest against the headboard of the bed. In front of him the Aria sat majestically, it's white and gold visage looking perfectly in place with the cream sheets. He hadn't even undressed or prepared for bed yet. All he could think about was what Tsuna had been going through. He was plagued with the knowledge that she would be going through the pain of loss. He knew it well, although a little differently. One thought led to another, and he eventually found himself thinking about something that often crossed his mind but hadn't really upset him for quite some time.

Ever since he started Hope, ever since he became best friends with Lottie, he had her to speak to. Micha'el told Lottie everything, and she told him everything too. They spoke about their lives, their past, what they wanted to do with their future. She was the only person he ever spoke to about Zoltan too. He felt like pressure was building up within him as he thought about it again. He felt pressure to look after Team Sun whilst they faced whatever problems they found out here. He thought bringing them here would be good... but instead it has led to the death of Tsuna's father. And it wasn't even a good death. More than that he wanted to speak with Lottie. She would understand, she always did. But even now as he saw his vision blur because of the tears beginning to form in his eyes he knew she would not remember. He held in his breath and imagined her voice, "who is Zoltan?" she'd say. He let out a small breath as a tear ran down his cheek. He swallowed. He used to think that the Zoltan Crisis was a blessing. Not that he knew it as the Zoltan Crisis. To him he just woke up one morning feeling different, and suddenly his mother had more of a dance in her step. No one knew who Zoltan was. No one but him. He didn't know how or who did it, but somehow Zoltan had been wiped from time itself... and he thought maybe someone had stopped him. But as each day passed he began to believe Zoltan was still alive... his own murderous brother. And he couldn't talk to anyone about it, not even Lottie - because she couldn't remember who Zoltan was either.

Micha'el buried his face into his knees and let the tears streak down his cheeks freely. His breathing became irregular but quiet as hedid his best to whimper as quietly as possible. He knew he couldn't hold it back anymore so he let himself cry. Perhaps it would help him to sleep, he thought. He just felt so alone, he felt like the shadows of his brother were slowly strangling him. He missed his old life, before the Zoltan Crisis. He missed talking to Lottie about it, he missed worrying about his mother, he missed asking for Lottie's help and advice. Now he has a secret he can't tell anyone or else he'll be judged for it. All of that and... and... I got Tsuna's father killed he thought. He just hoped no one could hear him... his silly, selfish thoughts weren't worth worrying anyone else.

The machines of war will fuel both sides,
And the greed will only grow more lies;
Farewell to days of peace 'cause now it's time to
die.

Where did it go?
Our peaceful
youth,
Seems to be gone forever
.

Tsuna Miki

Although Tsuna didn't turn around, by the concerned tone in Lottie's voice she knew Micha'el was silently observing the charring remains of the monster and her father. Hopefully, he wouldn't suggest to collect his ashes or say anything sentimental seeing how she wasn't good with that type of stuff. She was far two young to grieve when her mother passed away, but she assumed she would have reacted the same. Closing her heart and pretending to be the alpha of Team Sun was her way of coping with the whole ordeal. Lottie managed to deviated his attention and the team departed from the caverns to report back to Landaras once more.

They wandered back onto the camp grounds lacking exultant over the slayed beast, but were rewards with a calm atmosphere. The Vardents had retreated for now, and the evening sun's rays warmed them through the crevices in the leaves of the trees. Tsuna limbered like a wounded animal past Landaras who had already predicted their victory. However, from the look on her face he guessed that a tragedy occurred in the process. Micha'el replied for her since she was not capable of speech or coherent though. Tsuna paused to examine the line of tents in front of her pinned down to the grass and thick dirt. Their was a row of vigilant armored elves guarding the perimeter of the camp, their glow eyes never shifted. Micha'el politely asked for a place to rest seeing how they all needed to rejuvenate before continuing the mission. Landaras granted their request and directed them to their tent next to the twin's obscene display. More or less, it didn't really resemble a tent anymore with all their school colored junk on it. Micha'el and the others had to see the outrageous spectacle themselves only to roll their eyes at the boy's inconsideration towards the Sun Elves. The blue and white are very reminiscent to their enemies colored so she could see where the irritation and uneasiness came from.

Tsuna escorted herself to the tent before her teammates and choose the closes corner to could get to. Slouching over and carelessly dropping her weapon with a loud thud, her jacket, and hat on the floor. All her wolf appendages were exposed for a minute before she clawed under the blankets of her bed without changing. She could clean smell the blood and guts that clung to her suit and hair. Luckily, their was a hefty curtain separating her side from the others. That way they won't bother or much less see her crippling state once she breaks down. As the sun sank, she could hear the patter of her teammate's footsteps getting ready for bed. Aoi and Lottie were the first to fall asleep, their breathing and shifting brought her confront. She wasn't aware of Micha'el sleeping situation, but knew hers was corrupted. For most of the evening until now, Tsuna had been crying hard into her pillow muffling her bursts of pain. Being buried under the blanket and balling herself up was like a survival mechanism to her. Although, she couldn't cry forever because her team...no, the only people she had left needed her.

Tsuna quieted her sobs only to hear someone else's sorrows mask her own. Her fussy ears perked up and she wiggled out from her the blankets. Her ears flickered to one if her teammate's irregular breathing and almost instantly she knew who it was. Wiping her tears and putting on a strong front, Tsuna arose and walked or to the curtain separating hers and Micha'el's spaces. Forcefully, she pulled back the curtains, probably startling him, and said bluntly, "Why are you crying?" Before he could answer, she crossed over to his side letting the curtains drift back into place. Tsuna sat on the edge of his bed without facing him. She didn't want him to see what a wreck she was. "You're a man, so act like it. You shouldn't let the girls see you cry." She sounded harsh, but she didn't know how to be sensitive. At least when she's aggressive nobody can tell how she really feels under all the bruiting rage.

Wings - Micha'els sad theme

Amongst his own whimpers and breathes he hadn't realised he was being loud enough to be heard. If anyone was to come to him he had hoped it would have been Lottie. At least he thinks so... no. She wouldn't be able to console him properly. But when he heard the curtain waft aside his heart stopped. He lifted his head suddenly to see Tsuna staring down at him in the archway she made. "I-...I..." Micha'el began, but instead he looked down, remaining quiet and slowly lowering his head back to his knees. "...It's nothing..." was his only response.. He then took in a deep breath, his chest shaking as he did so, resisting the urge to cry more under the added pressure of Tsuna looming over him. He heard the curtain drop closed and thought she had left, but when he felt the mattress tug towards the edge he knew she hat sat down at the foot of the bed. Normally he would have instinctively reached to protect the Aria, but he didn't move at all. Instead it sat idle between them. He remained silent for an awkward, long, many seconds when she told him to not cry in front of the girls. He could only think of how much of a disappointment he must be. "That's why I break when no one else can hear me..." he said through his knees. But then he opened his eyes and looked towards her, he could barely see the back of her head and shoulders above the two archways of his knees covering his face. "... I- I'm sorry..." he said, his voice beginning to break, "I'm so... so sorry." Micha'el once again felt himself losing the control over himself. He wasn't apologising for crying, he was sorry for the loss of her dad. By now he was crying again, but he was remaining as quiet as possible not to wake the girls. "I-I shouldn't have brought us here... I wasn't able to protect you, I couldn't stop what happened - I-I couldn't even stop my brother-" Micha'el winced and hugged his legs closer again, shoulders jolting with each tear. "How do you stay so strong?!" he asked through his knees, "when everything is against you - when no one will believe what you want to say, when not even your best friend will believe you or even remember?!"

By now, Micha'el was saying too much, words that he didn't even mean to say but he couldn't stop. He wanted these things off his chest.

Tsuna Miki

Micha'el obviously wasn't expecting her to show up because if it were Lottie he would have been more accepting. Instead, his crippling demeanor consumed him and he refused to share his thoughts with her. Of course, she was stubborn and wouldn't disappear so easily so she decided to make herself conformable for a long chat. He held in his hyperventilating breaths trying to be strong when she told him not to disappoint the others. He told her that he breaks down when no one's around which is one thing they had in common, expect he wasn't ashamed to cry. Eventually, he balled up as tight as he could and sobbed uncontrollably over her father's death. He felt like he was responsible for bringing them there and not being able to protect her. However, she knew the blame resided within her vengeful actions against the twins. His death would have occurred sooner or later though, knowing the death warrant over his head from past transgression. At least he died with witnesses present instead of dying alone like a worthless mutt.

It seems the death of her father triggered some kind of friction that happened between Micha'el and his brother. Tsuna turned to him slightly confused wondering if his question was directed to her or was a rhetorical question for himself. He began to drone on about how no one believes or remembers his statements regardless of his long-term friendships. She assumed he spoke of Lottie considering how close they are. Tsuna wasn't the sentimental type and wasn't sure how to console him, but any sign of caring was better than watching his suffer alone. The girl awkwardly leaned over and grabbed Micha'el's arm pulling him into a rough embrace. She loosened up a little trying not to hurt in and stayed as still as possible. "I believe you." she said and paused for a moment before speaking again. "When you mentioned your brother earlier today, Lottie acted oblivious towards the subject. However, your face was racked with guilt and pain. I can't guarantee I'll remember him either, but I'll try. You have a brother, I don't know him name, but I don't have to know. I'll I need to know is that he existence and that something isn't settled between you two. You're not alone." She didn't know what else to say as she slowly released him.

Die die die...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Dry your eyes now baby,
Broken wings won't hold you down.
You'll take flight soon baby,
You'll be lifted up.
And you'll be there.is the prize.

Feel it everywhere and you see it growing,
Enemies arise and the hate is flowing,
Shattering the moon and
bloodying the sky.

Wings - Micha'els sad theme

As Tsuna grabbed his arm he held his breath, he actually expected the worst. A hit round the head? A slap on the wrist? Was she going to throw him from the bed and show Aoi and Lottie just how much of a mess he was? Surely not?! No... all his anxiety and fear was gone as she gave him a firm squeeze. A squeeze. That was all he needed. He never expected to be getting one from Tsuna, either. Then she loosened, remaining still and calm. Micha'el, now beside Tsuna rather awkwardly brought his legs in front of him, now extended across the bed rather than to his knees. He couldn't help it, but he was almost leaning against her, but not too much. He stared blankly ahead as she told him she believed him. Two simple words. His mouth mimic'd you believe me? but he was silently speaking more to himself in absurd disbelief. His shoulders sunk when she mentioned his brother. He wasn't supposed to bring that up. But Tsuna understood, she was piecing the bits together, remembering what Lottie had said when they first arrived to Evermoon City. Micha'el just sat, stared ahead, and listened.

There was more connection between them than ever, yet neither looked at each other once.

"Thank you..." he said honestly. He was a fool. He never realised that of coarse his best friend wouldn't believe him, she knew him best - so having a surprise brother was stupid. But Tsuna, she was a new friend and practically a stranger still. She wouldn't find it as baffling. When she told him he was not alone his body shuddered, but now he resisted, he forced the tears back and swallowed, sitting up straighter and holding his shoulders properly. After taking in a breath he said quietly "He was a bad person... but everything he did... vanished. I don't know how, but i still remember him - as though he still exists... somewhere." Micha'el then turned to her, his eyes glistening, though a little sleepy. "Thank you Tsuna. And... without being cliche. You're not alone either. You're one of us" he then almost chuckled, "whether you like it or not." Micha'el then looked ahead at the curtains, "no matter who you are... or what you're going through. We will fight for you... why else would we let you be our leader - you don't really believe it's because we're scared of you, do you?" Micha'el grinned, crossing his legs in front of him and sniffing as he put his hands on his knees.

He wasn't sure if he was gonna regret saying that.

Tsuna Miki

Her maternal hug must have cured him because he thanked her kindly and finally stopped crying. Although, her words of encouragement had gotten to him, Micha'el attempted to keep his composure while explaining more about his brother. Apparently, he turned to a dark path but by some mysterious phenomenon the evil acts he committed and even his identity disappeared. Micha'el wonders why he's the only one that remembers him and she couldn't vouch for him there. For her, he's a phantom with no form, but she knows he exists and that's enough for now. Tsuna grimaced until Micha'el began consoling her. He would be there for here; their team will fight for her because she is one of them now. He even admitted that it was a silly notion to believe they allowed her to lead out of fear for her. Tsuna played along gingerly to keep the mood light even though all she wanted to do was cry herself. "Darn, you got me..." she laughed slightly and stood up.

"We should get some rest." She said hoarsely as she drew the curtain back and stopped in the archway. "Micha'el...I'm glad you're not like your brother." With that, she left to her side letting the curtain swing back into place on its own.

With Tsuna's reply he grinned from the corner of his lips, just about baring his fang to the dim light that kept the tent corner aglow. He felt a warmth go over him, not like a heat rush you get when you're given some bad news, but like a comforting warmth. Micha'el might have been a little naive to not notice how honest Tsuna was being in her reply, but he was blissfully accepting that the two of them had bonded. After all this time, it was about time they got to know each other. That was when she stood up and announced getting rest. "Right" Micha'el said, wiping his eyes away of tears. He began to swivel on his bed and reached for the Aria when she stopped and spoke before leaving. Her comment took him off guard and he couldn't muster a reply before she let the curtains fall behind her. He stared at where she was for a moment. He thought about Zoltan for a minute. But images of Team Sun came into his mind, Aoi, Tsuna, Lottie. He smiled. "So am I" he said to himself, placing the Aria on the small table beside him. With a wave of his hand the small glowing lamp beside him dulled and extinguished.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

The next morning the sound of silence greeted them. It was eerie and strange not to hear the sound of songbirds or the wind brushing on the sides of the tents. Instead it was the eventual clanking of metal and dragging of wood, or the hum of magic (which the elves here used extensively). Team Sun were quick to get ready. Micha'el was last to step out of their group tent, only because he insisted to himself that he would meditate for ten minutes before starting their mission for today. It involved sitting cross-legged on the floor of his corner with the Aria floating before him, occasionally a page would flick over delicately. White magic in the form of lines and circles also sometimes appeared on the ground and would raise up slowly towards his head before fading away. There were even a few moments when Micha'el whispered words to himself, words unknown to this world, words only he understood from the realm of Aria.

When he did emerge he found Tsuna, Aoi and Lottie all waiting just outside the tent for him. Lottie and Aoi had made sure to be specifically careful around Tsuna, for all they knew, Tsuna was still hurting but choosing to be strong. Neither wanted to upset her, not make her feel left out. So after some talking amongst themselves Lottie had eventually stepped up to Tsuna saying "Hey... Tsuna. We'll finish the mission today... we'll make everyone proud." She finished with a small smile before noticing Micha'el step out of the tent. Aoi smiled and tilted her head, "How was the meditation?"
"Effective... thank you Aoi" he replied, running a hand through his lock of hair. He set his eyes upon Tsuna and at first began to let his eyes drift off elsewhere. But he brought them back to her as he stepped closer to the team. He just looked her in the eyes and nodded. A flash of blue light then caught their attention, shortly followed by the voices of two familiar boys. The Onsen Twins. It seemed they had already transformed into their battle-gear,garments of black trousers, black elather tunic, white and blue over-coat and then the things that split them apart. Kotaro with his buttoned up coat and admiral's shoulders of gold - and Kaito, with his metal spaulders and undone coat. Kaito's slightly darker shade of blue eyes looked over the team. "Well well well" he said, " it's the star of last night's show". Kaito instinctively pressed his back against his brother's and together they clasps hands between them. Kotaro said "we heard you lost someone you knew out there, accept our generous and most esteemed regret for your loss"

Tsuna Miki

Out of the girls, it was evident that Tsuna could barely drag herself out of bed. She hasn't gone to sleep and the dark rings under her eyes against her extremely pale complexion made her appear sickly. She slowly slipped on her jacket and adjusted her hat to shadow her unsightly features from her team even though it was useless to hide from them. They saw her plight first hand and of course it would be natural for them to worry about her. As she retrieved her hammer, she felt an easy sensation overwhelm her as if the outside world had been placed under a spell. The birds refused to chirp and the wind was stagnated. The only sounds that resonated around the camp was a crafting of armor and stocking of wood to keep the fires blazing for production. Tsuna stepped out of the tent with the girls and they stood there silently waiting for Micha'el to finish his meditation exercise. He needed it after last nights meltdown and not to mention he'll be leading the team for the rest of the mission since she no longer had to the strength to do so.

As Tsuna stood their staring off blankly into the distance, she heard the symphonic whispers of the two girls but eventually drowned them out with her own stray thoughts. Suddenly, her concentration on the horizon was broken when Lottie brought up the mission and the satisfaction it will bring once its finished. Tsuna glanced at her and mumbled a unconfident, "Sure..." before reverted her eyes back to the horizon. She appreciated Lottie's empathy, but wasn't in the right state of mind to accept it right now. Once Micha'el walked of the tent, him and Aoi discussed the success of his mediation before he turned to her. Her sorrowful eyes locked onto his and through some kind of telepathy between them they understood each others feelings. At least he looked refreshed and prepared, compared to her pathetically dragging herself behind and weighing for the team.

Out of nowhere, a disruptive flash of blue got their attention and their eyes wondered over to the Onsen Twins. They were already geared up in their color coordinated armor and uniforms. Their were bits and pieces on their outfits that separated them from one another as they leaned against each symmetrically. Kaito, the one with the darker blue eyes and undone undercoat began treating her unfortunate circumstance as a form of entertainment. When Kotaro joined in, his condolences for her loss were less than sincere as if they were making fun of her. Even if that wasn't their intentions, their words set her on edge and within seconds she snapped. Her balled fists shook in anger and she lunged at the twins without a second thought. She yanked them apart and punched Kaito as hard as she could across the face ultimately knocking him down. She then bounced onto Kotaro and pinned him to the ground. She punched him across the face and then began strangling him squeezing tighter and tighter. "YOU THINK HIS DEATH IS FUNNY!!! TRY LAUGHING NOW!!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs alerting everyone in the camp.
