Teallite was strolling on her own again. Yes, Serpentine has warned it was probably best for her to patrol with a team, but the few people she was comfortable enough with to patrol with were unavailable. James was busy with his studies, because she knew if she asked him to go with her, he would. Considering she had only been out of the hospital a few short months from nearly having been killed no a solo patrolling adventure, she had no doubt he would drop his studies to make sure that she was safe. And that wasn't acceptable to her. She knew how important his studies were, and how busy he was with his graduation inching closer and closer, so she only asked him to patrol when she was absolutely certain he had his homework done, and was rested.
But as it was, he was busy. Everyone was busy. And she was a bit more confident in her abilities sense serpentine had taken it on himself to teach how to. Well. How to not die.
Not dieing was good.
So she patrolled alone, in an area she felt relatively safe. She had been honing her ability to sense power signatures, and she still felt no order signatures, so she let herself relax, her teddy bear "weapon" held loosely, almost forgotten in one hand as she strolled casually from one puddle of streetlight to another, down an area known for its shopping and calm restaurants and cafes. A more dignified and touristy area then the parts of town dotted with bars and night clubs.
She let her eyes browse over the window fronts of the shop, but really what she was doing was carefully trying to select a target that she felt confident enough to take on alone. The problem was, everyone seemed to be out in couples or whole families tonight.
Teallite was still hesitant to rip starseeds, she would much rather gather general energy then pluck one of those again. Not that she would ever say that out loud, she got the feeling that her superiors would not approve of a Lieutenant who was reluctant to rip out a starseed if she had the chance. And she really did not want to know what happened to soldiers who the negaverse did not approve of.

Summer was here and school was out and god how he wished he could turn back time, wished he could go back and do things over again. Had he known in the past what would have happened to Bischofite he'd have stepped in, done something. He would have still brought him in though..he was selfish and greedy like that, not to mention everything Bischofite had done for the Negaverse that was good. He'd have done things different though, how he wasn't sure, in order to avoid what had transpired at the warehouse.
Tonight he'd left the safety of his home and it's dark, lonely, rooms and hallways. He couldn't remain there, it was too depressing, he couldn't be left to his own thoughts right now. He didn't trust himself and he didn't wish to continue feeling like this. This empty hallow feeling that twisted his stomach and caused his chest to clench. Alois had brought him out of his depression and guilt over Bazzite and now he was the cause of those same, and worse, feelings. He doubted the other would want him behaving like this. Than again maybe he'd laugh at it, take pride in electing such emotions from him. he didn't know and right now he didn't want to think that the other would enjoy his pain. As a shuddering breath left him he managed to teleport up to a roof top and sat himself down with little to no grace.
He still hurt, he was still banged up and bruised, burned and cut up and he didn't care. He smelled like herbs, from the salves he made, and that was all well in good as far as he was concerned. He was working on healing up physically.
The music, soft and calming, from the cafe below him calmed his jangled nerves some. He hoped no senshi, or knight, came near him tonight or any other night in the near future. he couldn't handle it, didn't want to handle it, and hoped he didn't have to. he wasn't sure how he'd handle it, especially if it was one who had seen him break down, especially if they'd put two and two together and gotten four. Swallowing he shook his head and let out a bitter laugh. How had he not even seen it himself? They were his feelings! Yet he was sure people in that warehouse had figured it all out in moments.
Lost in his own thoughts he almost failed to notice the signature headed his way. It wasn't order, which was good, but it was weak and it was chaotic in nature. A Lieutenant from the feel of it. No one was out with them, something of a surprise, but some went out on there own. Couldn't have someone babysit them all day and night. Should he go down and check them out?
He didn't want to but he knew he should, after all he did have duties he had to fulfill regardless of how he felt. Standing, slowly and somewhat painfully, he let himself glance over the roof top and down to the ground. Well a single story really wasn't a problem. Off the roof top he went and landed, painfully, on the ground between the cafe and it's neighboring building. Time to find the lieutenant. Signature in mind he headed out of the alleyway and onto the sidewalk and headed toward it.
