xd Well, yes. I was more wondering if the PCs would all have 100% Kamuis or just 10-30% (1-3 star) goku uniforms. And then there's the unexplainable powers of nudist beach...

The show didn't have a very big budget, and they wanted to save much of it for detailing their fight scenes. Thus, there are a lot of cheats and low quality animation at times. Though, many consider it part of the charm.

Watched a few episodes now . . . and I am not sure what to make of it. Seems almost a parody of itself, and yet I feel myself wanting to see more . . . ninja

It doesn't take itself very seriously except at key points (Mako always being an exception). It's wholly unlike most anime. It is to Gurren Lagann (the previous anime made by this duo) what Gurren Lagann is to other anime.

Yeah, I gave Gurren a long hard try . . . and came up short. It just did not grab me- even though I wanted it to.

I have now seen all of Kill La Kill to episode 24. This s**t is nuts! The best way I can describe it is a cross between Guyver, Sailor Moon, and perhaps a bit of FLCL.
Batshit insane, slow start, and once you get in, it's nuts.

Gurren Lagann and KLK were made by the FLCL people, actually. xd I'm glad you liked it. I really liked the super-Kamui at the end, though Ragyo's attacks then did defy the show's own logic which she herself established (life fibers can only be sheared, rendering piercing and normal smashing useless). Somehow I am not surprised . . . The aesthetics are all there, as is the tying thread of "WTF?!?"
I found the SuperKamui to be a meh moment. By that point, the show had devolved into
"I have a bigger weapon"
"No I have an even bigger weapon"
"Wait, I got a bigger weapon again"
"We are working together and making our weapons more powerful"
"My weapon is bigger than you all"
The DBZ complex . . . That all but made the second season of Geass bad for me. As for logic, at that point I just stopped worrying about logic. Hell, I had been encouraging my daughter to watch the show until I saw Ragyo fondle her daughter to "release" in the bath. at that point I told her perhaps that was not for her to see. I don't mind it, but that came out of left field a bit.
As for the theme, I didn't pay attention until I hit the link. German . . . an interesting choice.
