I thought we might like to have a place to discuss the Micah book without having to be careful what we say. So for anyone who hasn't read it & doesn't want to know details until they do, please refer to the Micah or the Micah Novella posts. People are being very careful there not to give spoilers.

I really enjoyed the book. She got a bit more action in it, not the intimate action if you are thinking that. I was disappointed that it was smaller than all the other books that she has written but I just keep telling myself that Danse Macrabe(sp?) will be much bigger.
She did an ok inimate part but...she still could have toned it down a bit. Hamilton is having a bit too much fun with it. It's too much. I'm sure many of you agree with me.
Um, I think that is all that I need to say for now.
So, what did you think of the novel?

What about the different lycanthropy strands in her blood! Any guesses on what the last one is? How will that affect her being "posibably" pregnent? eek
I thought the cutest part was the end when Nathanial jumped on her bed. whee

I think hyena but I do not know...
It also wouldn't affect her, the lycanthrope part. I think it is because she is still human. I hope she is though...It would be great. XD Anita a mom? Haha...I wonder who that father would be. surprised I like both guys so whoever would be great. xd

How will that affect her being "posibably" pregnent? eek I thought the cutest part was the end when Nathanial jumped on her bed. whee I think it's building up to be that she can summon all "Great Cats" or "Large Cats" like what's her face could.

Well didn't the doctor say it wasn't anything recognizable? So I doubt it is anything as easy as hyena or snake or anything. So I am really excited to see what it is.

The Lamia was not a lycanthrope so it didn't count. Also, I do not know of any lycanthrope that could be a carrier but a hyena or maybe one of the witch/were's from one of those books...You know where the witches cut the lycanthropes skins off. And another, she was only held at the lupanar(sp?) Two times I believe.
Well whatever it is, I can't wait to find out if they every figure it out. But seeing how she is a carrier, I do not think she will turn unless something happens to have her change. Who knows but Hamilton. She likes to keep our minds working.

She said she had a set ending for Merry, but didn't know what would happen with Anita... blaugh

Catwoman. *shot* Naw, just joking. Hamilton might as well just make Anita be able to summon larger cats, for that is indeed what it is leading up to. Just her ruling the cat kingdom.

snake lycanthropy can't be caught, only inherited. I was thinking Panwher, like Chimara......would that be one strand or many? Or maby its the fact that she is atatced to two vampires, and is no longer "mortal." Or at lest its not for sure any more.

I definitely liked Micah but found it a bit too short for my liking. Maybe it wasn't all that short and I'm just anxious for another huge book like the eagerly-awaited Danse Macabre... but the point remains that I was finished reading it in an hour or so and wanted more.
It was nice to see Anita and Micah get some alone time! Something seemed a bit off about Anita, though, or rather how she was written... or maybe that's just me. The zombie work was refreshing; back to one of the things that originally interested me about Anita.
The spoiler chapter at the end gave me a lot to think about. Anybody else pissed at Ronnie? I don't know if I can ever like her again. But anyway, I think I'm generally happy with the book and how things are going. I just hope that DM answers our questions and doesn't leave us haning...

I was disappointed by this book.
I just picked up a copy this arvo and had it finished by early evening.
It had a decent story to it, the first she's done in a bit, with a poorly written sex scene in the middle of it.
I do think the unrecogniseable strand is probably something reptilian. It's the most likely of the candidates.

Maybe she wants to work us up for Danse Macabre? Wants us to know what it's like with just them alone.
Right now, besides the last sentence in the preview, I'm wondering, when will Edward come back? Will he ever? ninja
